I have a mac (look at the bar on the top of the picture) but my desktop background picture is a screenshot of an old windows computer. The icons are part of the picture, not actual icons, my desktop is actually empty. Already prevented 3 people from trying to fuck with my computer when I left it open, confuses everyone.

It's an extra line of security, especially if I set the top bar to hide automagically, no one ever figures out what's going on, they just get confused and think it's frozen or something. It's quite nostalgic to look at actually :)

I use windows to run my engineering & design software, but I'm constantly going back and forth between that and internal and exteranlly linked data sets, and for everything else, the mac applications are just much nicer to spend time working in, and function just as well, so I stick with that. The two are so seamlessly integrated running windows and mac apps side by side and copying and pasting between them is like using a single OS. pretty smooth.
