surgeon general warning and tax that varies by state

Same. Also price is:

Parisiennes Box (20 units) = 3.3 USD (51 ARS)

the tobacco companies must REEE so hard at having to do that

Pretty much the same here but also use pictures of dead fetuses and throat cancer.

It hasn't really stopped anyone as far as Im aware, It only has made profitable to sell them individually by at stores or street merchants

>Canada

>no advertisements allowed
>can't be shown in stores (hidden behind the counter, behind a plain silver cabinet)
>no flavours, menthols, or cloves; "regular" cigarettes only
>plain text warnings on sides, 3/4 of the front and back is Health Canada warnings, complete with pictures of diseased hearts and needles going into eyes
>insane amounts of tax
>government-sponsored posters, TV spots, movie adverts, and more about the harmful effects of smoking
>no smoking in bars, restaurants, or casinos (even on balconies), in parks, on government property, in cars (for business), etc.
>no smoking within 10m of entrances
>vapes and e-cigs are under all the same restrictions, save the flavouring

Basically the government pretends like they want you to stop smoking, but they'd be fucked if you actually quit. They make something like $15 BILLION every year from the taxes.

Personally I just go to the reserve. It's a twenty minute drive outside of town, and a carton costs $25 or so. They don't have to follow Canadian law, either, so it's all on display, they have flavours, there aren't any warnings, and best of all? My tax dollars aren't going to support a corrupt and scandal-riddled Liberal government's pet projects (read: money for rapefugees).

If faggots and SJW's are so much against the tobacco, I guess there's nothing wrong with tobacoo.

But I'm not a faggot or SJW.

>I'm not a faggot

Sounds like something a faggot would say...

We have the same since recently, probz because of the EU

No, just a cancer patient. I don't like the homoseks.

China is probably the biggest tobacco using place on Earth despite recent efforts by the CCP to discourage smoking (Xi Jinping's wife has been a spokesperson for anti-smoking initiatives and none of the current Politburo members smoke). It's unlikely to have much impact though, especially since the tobacco industry in China is huge and it employs several million people. It's gained strength as tobacco consumption in the West has declined.

>How much
we paying to tobacco about $4/a box
and it was increased the price a few month ago (included tax)

>deal
there are discussing between smokers and nonsmokers
as philip morris and JT are striving to disseminate electronic cigarettes, it seems that they will continue to increase.
(I want to try vape)

Get the fuck out of my country, you subhuman slant-eye.

Same

Smoking restrictions in Australia are harsh. It's completely banned in airplanes, airports, public transportation, and government buildings. Laws regarding smoking on private property vary by state, but are mostly as harsh and you pretty much can't smoke in a restaurant or shop anywhere.

Cigarette and chewing tobacco packages have the usual assortment of dire health warnings you'd expect.

>government forces industrials

Oh, now government's involvement is ok. Fuck nonsmoking cry babies, I blow smoke into non smoker faces and enjoy fighting them wherever I get a chance.

I can confirm most chinese people I personally met smoke.

Really shitty antismoking comercials. Occassional billboard. Talk about smoking is bad at school. Tax it up a bit.

Other than that it is reasonably lax. It is up to restraunt owner if they will allow smoking. Most amusement parks, airports, malls, college campuses, and parks have designated smoking areas. You can smoke as much as you want on your property, and smoking in public (like on the street) isn't illegal.

Don't use your phone in class, kid.

man the worst thing is I can't smoke in bars except some where the law isn't applied

I heard you can't smoke in Parisian cafes and patios

Probably easier to just link this

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_smoking_bans_in_the_United_States

They tax the shit out of it here. I believe it's about $12 a pack now, it was $9-10 when I smoked (tfw went away to collegetown where it was $3)
Lucky Strikes are goat but what is different about their blue packs? I've never seen any like that here. Lights or menthol?
This is true, the chinks and pooinloos smoked like chimneys at my engineering college.

in the law you can't but there's some places where you can still do it

it was all good and dandy untill some months back when they started putting pictures

now there's one pic where theres a hole in the throat and it looks like anus hole

I think a deacon at my church had that and he had to hold his finger to some band over it to talk with a robotic sounding voice.

What state are you in? Packs are 7-8 bucks here.

Illinois, Chicago specifically. The city has a big tax and seemingly increase it every year or so.

Ah. I'm in Wisconsin. I used to work in a grocery store in Sheboygan. People from Illinois are always suprised at the price of our cigs and booze.

They have raised the price of neftóbak 63% at least twice

Cigarette packs are in total plain packaging. Companies cannot display their brand name at all.

Australia is the most expensive country in the world for smokes. A pack of Marlboro 20s costs like $20 US.

We also have pretty confronting anti-smoking PSAs. Video related.

At least they dont have a picture of some cancerous gums

>Companies cannot display their brand name at all.
I meant they cannot display their brand logo/colours. The name can still be shown like in the pic.

They kick philip morris ass

Fíla bagg mission
bagg rúnta og press
Vill ekki dolluna nema hún sé fresh

I wish they would unban flavored cigarettes it's not gonna make kids smoke.
I haven't even seen anyone under 18 smoking a cigarette in years anyway all the "edgy" kids just vape now.
