Nice chart, maybe listen to Flotation Toy Warning
Also check out my chart for stuff, I think we have similar taste.
Check out Kramer - The Guilt Trip. It has a much more tame Ween sort of vibe.
Coil - Music to play in the dark vol. 1
/5
I'll post my chart once I'm done listening to this album. In the meantime post charts and I'll try to rec you all.
You should check out Different Trains / Electronic Counterpoint since you like Music for 18 Musicians. It's also by Reich. Maybe Gesang der Jünglinge - Kontakte by Stockhausen, too?
Xuvetyn - Lovesliescrushing
I am on a crusade to make this album Sup Forumscore
Hey, 98.12.28, you've got some good taste man. If you like SGTSTV and don't mind shoegaze, try Grandeur of Hair by Goslings. It's really only similar in that both are a tad noisy, but hey I like it.
I like Deathconsciousness, nice. I told the other guy with Music for 18 to check out Different Trains / Electronic Counterpoint, so try that. Is Dataplex good? I'm definitely going to check it out real soon but I want to know how it'd appeal to me if I like drone, IDM, and experimental stuff.
Cheers mate. That's more Reich yeah? Dataplex is a pretty challenging listen with only a few accessible tracks to latch onto on the first listen - I'd recommend going into Ikeda's earlier work first (+/- and Matrix are very good starting points, leaning towards the former). (You) me when you post your chart. Looking for more IDM atm.
try Long Fin killie - Houdini
Comus - First Utterance
Kairon; Irse! - Ruination
Hidria Spacefolk
The Chameleons - Script of The Bridge
Paavoharju
Islaja - Keraaminen Pää
Melvins - Houdini
...
It is more Reich, which is why I recc'd it. They sound different from what I listened to both. And I like IDM, but I'm not super well-versed in it to my dismay. I only listen to the super entry level shit like Aphex Twin and BoC, I'm bigger on shoegaze and recently been getting into drone after I listened to Weighing Souls with Sand and Boris. And alright, I'll start there. Thanks.
Good taste! I dig the GS!YBE on your chart. If you liked Ambient 1, you tried Kenotic by Hammock? It's also ambient but it takes notes from shoegaze.
I'd recommend you stuff but I'm too pleb so I'll opt for what you've most probably heard before and say Sing to God by Cardiacs.
Songs About Leaving officially makes you my nigga. I always appreciate when I see someone with it on their chart. I like Red House Painters on there, too. You tried Come Up for Air by The White Birch?
I know I've listened to a white birch album, not sure which. Didn't like it that much.
thanks for replying to everyone but me
I'll reply to you so you'll stop being so passive aggressive about it. Going By - Told Slant
Women - Public Strain
Mogwai or MONO
Ben Frost
Belong - October Language
Infinite Body - Carve out the face of my God

My fucking nigger
++Weighing Souls with Sand, F# A# Infinity, Endtroducing, Long Season, Young Team, Spiderland, Frigid Stars, Takk, Texas Jerusalem, etc etc
I'll rec you The Skaters / Axolotl by well, The Skaters and Axolotl. Rec me some shit you think I'd like, drone's been my shit recently.
Thanks, I also like a lot of the Shoegaze picks on your chart
You ever heard Liumin? You'd like it if you like 2814
In response to that guy with Ikeda, I'm about 4 minutes into +/- and I can already tell this'll be really interesting.
Yup, I had Liumin on my chart but I took it off in favor of that Space Mtn album. I still personally like it though. Funny because I rec Liumin to everyone with Birth of a New Day on their charts in these kind of threads.

Pink O'Clock by Laybacksound
>can't tell the difference between nips and gooks
Thanks tho, any with female vocalists?
>1
no? what??
I knew Laybacksound was Korean and that your chart had Japanese artists. Listen to Fushigi by Akina Nakamori, Mother Sky by Morita Doji, as well as city pop, though my fav city pop albums have male artists. One that I do know that has a female singer is Communication - Junko Yagami.
...
im gay
Remember to rate/rec next time. If you like Yes, try getting into prog. What about Mirage - Camel?

Has anyone else had the issue of Topsters2 becoming not responsive? It never saves any of my charts, even tried different browsers

...
trying to get more interesting taste

I just finished listening to +/- and my god, that was not an album. That was an experience. 10/10, I felt like I was going insane towards the end of -..

I'm not telling him to listen to anything. I never said Mac is shit. He's generic, but he makes good background music and I like the aesthetic of his songs.Three is excessive, one or two fine by me. The whole point of these threads is to get a feel for your taste. By freeing up some space, we could get a better judge of your taste. You could get a whole load of more recommendations from just freeing up two albums and repeat artists.
CreeeEEEEdooooOOOOOOooOOO
auktyon - ptiza
duke ellington - far east
Pappo's blues - volumen 2
lamp - ゆめ

imma bully u now bitch
Thanks for the recs man, liking the sound of free
I'm need them recs boyz
Only been around about 6 months... would appreciate some recs
you don't need recs you need rym and last fm
I have last.fm, but normally when I listen to new stuff, I wanna listen to a full album, not just a few songs.
Really couldn't stand the "doom" sections in that diSEMBOWELMENT record. I used to love it like everyone else, but god damn the record relies way too much on the slow chug sections with no groove.
You don't even need chart threads for recs honestly. Have fun exploring though.
Justin Timberlake - 20/20 Experience (only the first part)
Shabazz Palaces - Black Up
Don't really do indie. but I can do prog/baroque pop, so I guess check out:
Moon Safari - Blomljud
Millennium - Begin
Not sure how people can listen to Loren Connors and not fall asleep. Dude's stuff sounds like what would happen if you just isolate late Talk Talk's guitar parts with nothing else going on.
Fuck Buttons - Tarot Sport
Blanck Mass - World Eater
>Not sure how people can listen to Loren Connors and not fall asleep. Dude's stuff sounds like what would happen if you just isolate late Talk Talk's guitar parts with nothing else going on.
