i prefer tailgating instead

What does it feel like to your ass licked?

Salty coins and coins.

I was shot with rubber bullets once
and
They threw me water in some riot
thrown a rock rigth into a police officer in a motorcycle, that was pretty fun

Got teargassed by the CRS and made lots of Nazi salutes in Paris with Chelsea. Good times.

I love watching baseball games, last one I went too was Tanaka vs Bumgarner, yankee stadium is kinda shitty and overpriced but even still baseball is just so comfy.

Going to a match tomorrow. Midweek games always have a different kind of feel

I was at a lower league football game the other week. Travelling with the away section. They were singing a song about >our striker - "John Beattie I'd let you shag my wife", which turned into "John Beattie I'd let you beat my wife". Also the referee was called a bald pedophile every time he got a decision wrong. Often accompanied by "child in your basement, you've got a child in your basement".

>england

Marouane Fellaini
You're the love of my life
Marouane Fellaini
I'd let you shag my wife
Marouane Fellaini
I want curly hair too

best times are when you are completely drunk

I got shot by the stadium sniper.

I enjoy this meme.

nhl games
>tickets are expensive
>crowd is pretty sedate between goals

minor league games
>tickets are cheap
>more scoring, cheering and drinking

cfl games
>really mixed, football can be very one sided
>one good fanbase that travels, saskatchewan games are always fun

nfl games
>tickets are very expensive
>giant crowd

best thing I saw was bc win the cfl championship at home, never saw a crowd that happy

That's a man and a woman, right?

>I've never drunk alcohol in a stadium

Sad!

I have better seats that those fuckers

>stadium has no singles policy
>don't have anyone to with
>have to buy 2 tickets for myself
>enter the stadium
>security asks me where is my couple
>i-i-is coming later
>he doesn't seem to believe me very much but lets me enter anyways
>people that saw the incident start giving me funny looks
>overhear someone say: "he looks like a virgin
>self-steem 404
>go to buy some crab legs
>have two seats by myself because I had two tickets, I use one for me and one for my crab legs
>pre show starts
>1 hour of cheerleaders
>1 hour of the mascots doing stupid shit
>1 hour of dumb contests
>finally the players enter the field
>ITS ONLY THE FUCKING WARM UP
>1 hour of that
>they left to change their shirts and begin the game
>20 minutes and nothing happens
>someone enters the field
>it's just a bunch of kids
>they play an mini exhibition game, another 30 minutes
>0-0
>the players enter now
>national anthem starts playing
>my feet hurt so I don't stand up
>the person next to me notices it, start seeing le weird
>stand up because I'm a bitch
>anthem finishes
>sit down
>state anthem starts playing
>stand up again
>city anthem
>club anthem
>sponsor anthem
>visiting team state, city and club anthems
>finally the game starts
>diving, diving and more diving
>grab some more crab legs
>i already finsh them
>fuck all these preshows
>the shooter is late
>everyone starts booing
>go to the batroom
>my spagetti falls
>people laugh at me
>return
>youtube.com/watch?v=x4bg5ciIpgI vid related happens
>everybody cheers
>enter the field
>see a qt scared
>go and try to comfort her
>she just does a 360 and walks away
>that happened 6 years ago
>mfw I haven't attend a game since then

fuck stadiums to be honest. it is comfier from the TV anyways

>cheaper to go to another country to see your team play and have a beer
>never been to a home game
The worst part is pissing at stadiums.

kek no one is gonna read all that shit

did that left central defender in green get shot at 0:20 ?

at least you didnt get killed

Used to go to all of the games of my team before I stated uni in the UK. Now I just go to rugby from time to time.

I go back to my college stadium for a game or two every season. Shit is cash AF

it's super funny, you should do it

most events have 'last call' about 3/4 through the game and no more booze after that

at any pro level its usually $12 / beer or $15+ for some cocktail anyway

food and drink both are disgustingly rape tier prices desu , $20 hot dog goy its tradition

7-8 games a season at da big house

Pretty typical crowd stuff, once you get over the 110k people all in one place part.

normal games
>flyover, military or vintage military
>kick-ass veteran of the day
>somebody can't handle their booze
>students sing along or dance to "classic" rock/pop
>students try to get the wave going around 3Q
>followed by the reverse wave, frozen wave, and double time wave
>pep band is useless without the sound system
>marching band looks cool, but you only hear them when they face you

big/close games
>students yell like it matters (it might)
>you can actually hear the away fans
>everyone is edgier, but still super tame by yuro standards
>cold af, usually

I live in Las Vegas and have Arizona Cardinals season tickets. I fucking love the games, but I'm going to be honest, as I get older, driving or flying to AZ and back in one day fucking wears on me.

But I've seen so much shit in my 13 years of games. My first game was a preseason game when I was 18 years old and a 50+ year old Raiders fan threatened to stab me if I kept cheering for my team.

My dad got us ejected once, but it wasn't really his fault. The head of stadium operations apologized to us and personally escorted us around the next game and gave us a bunch of free stuff. Another time, my dad knocked a sign out of a disabled kid's hands and that was definitely his fault. I had to drive him to the airport. He's not even a Cardinals fan.

My mom once got us into a fight with some Hispanic gangbangers and called my dad a pussy for not standing up for her when I got jumped for her stupid ass.

Fucking Arizona.

kek

I went to the Battle at Bristol and waited in the soda line for 30 min only to be told that they ran out of soda. I missed the halftime show and half of the 3rd quarter (When Tennessee started their comeback)

Still a great game/experience tho.

I'm guessing Seahawks fans.

Your parents need to learn how to behave themselves

Like a bag of sand.

The funny thing is, they're the whitest, richest, Barbie & Ken couple you'll ever see. I don't know what the fuck is up with them.

Minor league season ticket holder. The people in the cheap $350 were all white trash and die hard and when I moved to the $450 a year section the people were all rich fags whose jobs owned like 4 seats and they almost never showed up

I know lawyers and doctors who get smashed and get into bar shoving matches over hockey

All of American sports family oriented? Or are you more likely to find families going to baseball, for example?

no, Detroit lions fans

>mlb games
get seats right next to the home dugout. pretty boring, gets exciting if anybody actually hits a long ball
>nhl games
Get pretty good seats but I'm in Florida so not too many people there and the people that are there are usually going for the away team.
>nfl
been to one Miami Dolphins game about 10 rows behind one of the endzones. Was pretty cool
>nba
been to two games a long time ago, one 5 rows up one in a suite. The suite was better

Most families I know in the US are a little concerned about taking their kids to stuff like football and hockey. Too many drunk, passionate fans, already amped up from hours of tailgating and drinking, watching a bunch of dudes hit each other.

I mean, I love it, but I know a lot of people who leave the kids at home or in the family sections.

my mom liked CFB games but she hated 90s bronco games and thought they will filled with hicks

>Do you watch games in the stadium?
>tfw the closest pro team is 400 miles (645 km) away

Life is suffering. At least I have truly godawful college football to pass the time (also AAA baseball 50 miles away).

Here are my experiences:

Major League Baseball - I've gone to dozens of games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. It's a great ballpark, even though Baltimore is not a top tier city. When the Yankees or Red Sox come to town it's a pretty lively and packed stadium. If it is not a major market visiting team, you can get fairly good seats for cheap. 8/10 will continue to go.

National Football League- I've gone to less than 5 games at M&T Bank Stadium (Ravens). It's again, a great park and is usually near capacity. Ticket prices are pretty outrageous, food is ridiculous and its very crowded. Occasionally fans start shit with opposing team fans, especially if it is the Steelers. 4/10 its probably better to watch at home.

College Basketball- I've been to a couple University of Maryland games at College Park. Traffic in and around College Park near game time is unbearable. Once you get in, its a really fun environment, albeit every alumni thinks they know everything about coaching basketball for some reason. The student section is constantly going crazy with signs and songs. 7/10 would go if someone else is driving.

Its really the cost. If youre rich no problem. But a single football ticket, depending on market, is average $150. Thats $600 on tickets for a family of 4 alone. For under $100, you can get 4 good seats at MLB with food and transportation.

Would you say its worth it to go to an NHL game if you've never gone? I'm an ultra casual NHL fan.

They're all family oriented for the most part except NFL games. Just the most scummy people in the world. Would never take my family to an NFL game.

For sure. I don't care for hockey at all but it's a lot of fun live, might be the best live sport desu

depends where you live in all honesty
if you live in a popular hockey area it'll be great.
If you're in a place like Arizona or South Florida wait for a popular team like the Red Wings or Rangers to come down and it'll be fun, if not there won't really be too many people there. Unless you want it to not be that crowded

n no homo

no

>>overhear someone say: "he looks like a virgin

>>go to buy some crab legs
>>have two seats by myself because I had two tickets, I use one for me and one for my crab legs

Top kek! This only was worth the read.

>tfw you recognize the license plates, common car types and landscape in general as probably being in mchigan.

ask some of the 'refugees' at the center where your mom volunteers

>belgium laughing at 'child in your basement'

Every single professional sports game I've been to the team I cheered for lost.

>some Tigers game a long while ago, don't remember who they played but I don't remember them winning
>pens vs hurricanes with pens fan cousin, hurricanes won
>red wings vs flyers, SO loss
>red wings vs sabres, 4-3 loss

>Falklands

Hockey is easier to follow live if you have seats that aren't pure shit. Don't be tricked into sitting right by the glass. Those seats are more thrilling if you want hitz n shiet but it's easier to follow the game from 10 or so rows up. If you do get glass seats, don't put your beer on the boards. The next time the play comes your way you will be wearing your drink. Hockey is played in 3 periods rather than 4 halves so teams attack one end twice and the other only once. Don't get tricked into sitting in the defensive half of the ice unless you want/need to. Sitting direclty behind the net seems like a good idea until you realize you've lost depth perception on the goal line and teams build their PP strategies around confusing the guy with your perspective. Sitting the corner is the best in my opinion because you can see the action around the nearest net the best. Just like on TV, follow the players instead of the puck.

Didn't know it was that expensive.

Pretty fun.
I am a lifelong Vicenza fan (medium-sized serie B team) and despite its shitty performances watching football at stadium never fails to amuse me.
Also, the atmosphere during a local derby is stunning. Watching Hellas Verona - Vicenza at Bentegodi was an incredible experience.

Best live event I've been to so far is Canada v Switzerland in Olympic hockey during 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

I was in a suite or box or whatever you want to call it.

>mfw open bar and all you can eat snacks

All I remember of the game is that the Swiss took Canada to overtime. And the drummer from the Barenaked Ladies was in the suite as well.

Are you getting head, though?

>stadium snipers are a thing
What?

I mean, I get why, but jeez...

I only watch those irrelevant saturday afternoon matches if i have friends to go with and if the tickets are cheap, i never watched a match agaisnt a rival because its expensive, it's a hell to driver after the game is over and in case they get rekt i wil feel cucked for spending money on this shit, it's much mre comfy to watch big games at home

sason ticket holder on the standing terraces
125€/year
cheap, able to get beer during game, singing and chanting
good times, even though we are a horribly average 2nd bundesliga side nowadays

Everytime since 2000, just 2 or 3 times travelled to away games, the longest trip I made was 1.100 km

Got thrown a piss bag in my back once in an away match

>mariners games
Season ticket holder, go to around 10-20 a year, games can be either a lot of fun or just flat out depressing. Still my favorite sporting event.
>husky games
When I was a student I used to go to the student section but Dad and I go to a game a year now, usually when a good team's in town. Team's getting good so games are going to be more fun in the foreseeable future
>seahawks games
My NFL team comes every 8 years so I don't go to them.
>sounders games
>implying I want to be around cucks and fedoras

i haven't been since they invented kiss-cam

MLB: sat in dugout seats, shit was unreal, players 5 feet away. sat in corporate luxury box, kinda sucked, got blackout drunk. sat everywhere in between, shit is meh.
NHL: sat in corporate seats 1st row mid ice on the glass, 10/10 groupies (probably wives/gfs) everywhere, most exciting live sports experience by far.
NFL: sat everywhere except luxury box. like being part of a violent mob. always fun.
NBA: dudes are TALL. unless you're first 10 rows courtside don't even bother though.
MLS: all seats are great but soccer isn't really my thing.

oh and the first week or so of spring training for MLB is the best. you can shoot the shit with the players and coaches, talk about pussy, watch agents creeping about... the access is unbelievable, especially in arizona where there are like 10 teams training within a 20 mile radius.
