OP here
This is 45 acp
You just used "Hi Point" and "reliable" in the same sentence. Go sit in the corner, dumbass.
>hi-point
>reliable
Pick one and only one.
>not realizing that, while shitty, they aren't bad if you feed it the right shit
>not realizing that being able to defend yourself and exercise your 2nd amendment rights comes before spending a fuck ton of money on something you may not be able to afford
hi points are extremely reliable. you dumb fucking nigger
you guys dont gun do you
You really need to get your head out your ass and actually try things before judging them
More than you do, clearly.
Holy fuck is the hi-point fan boys! Dont shoot me... oh wait - you can't.
I seriously doubt that.
Bitches please
dude you are fucking retarded. I don't even own a hi point but it's very well known that despite them being uglier than sin, they work and work well. watch any major gun YTer test them out. Jesus fucking christ
Hi-points make heavy ugly and unergonomic firearms but they are far from unreliable. Go grab one for $60. If you can even afford it.
was just about to link this vid. he fucking shoots it and it still works ffs
what is acp?
stop being a faggot and buy a real gun. Sig Sauer P229 or bust
Dare you to try that theory
Bet you wont
Found the nigger
Still a gun
>extremely reliable
Is this bait? They get the job done but its far from reliable
>is an obvious fanboy
>thinks his opinion should matter
automatic colt pistol
ur dumb
The guns may be ugly but they are far from unreliable
I don't shoot my P229 anymore. I carry a P-07 now.
don't drop that SIG topkek
They're ugly and single stack but they're rugged as fuck
I keep a C9 under the seat, I don't even oil it and it shoots everyt ime
Dude, Automatic Colt Pistol
You call yourself a gun guy?
> he keeps pointing that gun right at the camera
someone there will be dead soon
Dude, always clean your gun
Rust will make it a hand grenade
the only thing significant they did was lighten the slide and the trigger. pretty simply stuff
Let's see, you can shoot them in the slide at 10' with another gun and they still run fine
I would pay $1000 to see anyone do that with a Glock and it still run fine
Go ahead and aim. I win.
That poor dead tripod
It was just holding the camera
Jokes on you, a Hi Point is made from melted down hot wheels
Who the fuck drops their gun anyways?
I think it is pot steel
>Trimming weight off the slide
>On a blowback operated pistol
That actually makes it significantly weaker and less accurate at more than spitting distance
Sounds like half the glock market would like to talk to you.
Competition guys did it, watch the video
doubtful
people that use them
Pretty sure FPSRussia did that, actually. Shot it in the slide with his nighthawk 1911. Then froze it. I think he needed to blow it up with tannerite to finally kill it.
That being said, Hi Points are still unbelievebly reliable.
Cheap =/= Unreliable
Case in point: AK, SKS, Makarov
Are you of African descent by any chance
Found it
youtube.com
America had to get a cheap reliable gun
Fucking Russians are kings at it
nope. white as the driven snow
>glock
>blowback
All but the niggeriest .380 glocks are lock breech design
>someone being this reasonable on Sup Forums
Seriously, they're ugly, uncomfortable, and feel bad to the touch... BUT they can be dragged through the mud and still fire on point. +1 internets for you
youtu.be
Shit keeps going
Ugly as hell, but it keeps going
Matt at DemolitionRanch did a similar test. High Point is bretty good.
I agree with all of that, except...
I find them extremely comfortable, personally. I like the weight, too, since I have insanely shaky hands.
Didn't TFBTV talk about how Hi Points get a lot of hate, but they're actually pretty tough guns?
everyone point and laugh at the guy spouting low quality memes from some shitty facebook page
>SKS
>Cheap
>2016 + The Donald Year
Not unless you live in syrupland
Top quality bait thread, OP.
I just mean in general. An SKS is reliable and cheap compared to an average AR.
...
Or is it nowadays?
I'm not following the market; maybe an SKS crate hasn't been cracked open recently and the value is up? Still, you get the point.
Well more power to you, brotherman. If you dig it, keep carrying it. I'm personally a revolver man so maybe I'm biased. Ah well
I'm a dumbass.
887 here
I'm also OP
Yeah, even nutnfancy can't have on it
youtu.be
it happens. don't believe everything you hear mate.
$400 for bubba's SKS
Try then judge
happens to the best of us
Well shit. I hear nuggets are getting pricey. Are Lee Enfields still decent?
In Alabama you can still get 91/30s for $150 pretty regularly
Practicality over aethetics first if money is a concern.
Lee enfields always been shit because the load is expensive.
I actually wanna try keltecs new bullpup shotgun..
the KSG?
It's actually a zinc based alloy.
I read an interview with someone from Hi-Point awhile back. He made the comment that they are pretty much done sending out demo guns to reviewers because all they do is try to break them, get them to jam, etc... and fail to do so.
TYM's got me scared of KelTech. Though the KSG looks awesome, and that PMR speaks to me.
Ew the highpoint. Shoots well but it's ugly as shit.
Yeah. I just like em cause their a bullpup shotgun. Not because muh tackycool shotgun.
KSG kick like a mule and is akward to load
But fuck it fells nice
they're supposedly fucking awesome. go for it
...
been carrying a p320 for the past year or so the 229 is too heavy and hot in the heat
When I have the cash I will. Maybe that will be my birthday gift to myself in January.
buy an S&W 629 and sleep next to it, hell even talk to it, buy it dinner.
like a real man.
>the slide is clearly locked back
>IV8888 knows what the fuck he's doing around a gun
>"BUH BUH BUH HE WOOK DOWN DA BAWWEL! HE GAWNA DIE!"
there ya go
What's that baby?
You want to kill?
What, right now?
Here?
OP here
If I had the money
But i'm a broke ass engineering student that lives in the ghetto
I love guns, but I can't afford a competition grade 1911 with all the bells and whistles
I just need a gun, that's what a hipoint is
>Driven snow
So... Taco nigger?
>hipoint
maybe buy a gun that isn't 50$ brand new before you modify it
kys
...
>trying this hard to be le edgy memer
not a hipoint
Where is there a 50 dollar hi-point? If they're literally price I'll buy 4 on the spot just for fun
Can't kill myself
Don't got a gun
You can get used ones for $75 for real
They used to be that brand new
It's undriven snow retard
Hahaha you bought the niggerest gun available. Shot yourself with it, if you can without it jamming
There are niggerier guns than Hi Point believe it or not
Bryco and Cobra immediately come to mind.
Hey user,
I know you were looking for a simpler answer but you're either going to have to just buy two highpoints and mill material OFF THE FRONT HALF OF THE SLIDE of one of them, or look for someone else who has experimented with this same thing. Basically just keep milling and then firing until the gun refuses to cycle reliably. You might be able to add weight in the form of optics/uhh..jewlery or something to compensate for the weight lost. Just remember to mill the front half, axial uniformity doesn't matter much in terms of functionality.
They DID make a racegun out of a hipoint.
Did no one mention this...?
youtube.com
the fucking OP did, nobody cared to watch it tho.
he literally said he was trying to make it in the fucking post.
Oh shit, sorry.
I'm half asleep right now.
While we're on the topic, anyone know how I could get a handgun in Australia?
Trips from Australia to the US cost upwards of $800.
> what is satire
You actual fucking retard. Autist fuck with no sarcasm detector.
Is the gun too heavy for your weak ass hands?
Just lighten the trigger pull to .3 lbs and load the ammo 20mg powder short and you can hold your .22 without the recoil hurting you.
