If every South American country is to the left of the US politically, why do they have even worse rich/poor divides than we do?

Because Spain and Portugal suck at imperialism.

Capitalist sabotage

because we used to be to the right.
we(argies) were lefties only from 2000 to 2016

You understand that without that wall the right hand side of the picture would look exactly like the left, right?

>They can build the wall but we can't

I wonder if that's where those """"Mexican intellectuals"""" live

>generalizations
Our rich-poor divide is better than yours.
And it was even better in the past.

sorry, it doesn't aply for us

Peronism says otherwise, my white friend.

In theory there should be no wall and everybody should be in relatively nice houses, so why does the practice go so awry?

peronism ruled from 1946 to 1955 and then from 1974 to 1976 and finally from 2003 to 2016.
1989 to 1999 wasn't peronism

A prime example of South American gap between classes is Rio de Janeiro

The Southern part of the city has a higher HDI than Norway (I'm serious),while some parts of the city are like living in Venezuela

it's almost the same

They think everything south of the border looks like Mexico. Plane tickets here are expensive and we are not interesting enough to feature on the news.

But the few American tourists that actually come down here usually get their minds blown at the glaciers, the aesthetics and the nightlife.
At least if they are not lying to me.

True, which means has totally stepped in it and should probably commit sudoku in shame

>KEK ON 8TH FLOOR DOESN'T HAVE A POOL

yep, but i guess we all should commit sudoku anyways.

White privilege

>arguing over less than 1% difference
Ok my bad, it changes every year you know?
But we are around the same level

Also is this pic in São Paulo?
Pretty sure that's Morumbi but i can't into image search on mobile

Remember the time Argentina was triggered by a license plate

Because the administrators become the new aristocracy.

"Around the same level" is a different thing than "better than yours" senpai

The left creates wealth inequality.

Yeah that was nigger-tier.
Still... imagine if someone drove through the US South with a plate that said ILUV911

Ummm, our gov is still right wing m8

>South america
>left

Why do you think we had all those dictators for?
We're supposed to be welfare states but money just vanishes so yeah

In the long run, yes.

Middle classes weren't a thing until the rise of laissez faire capitalism in the 1920s.

inequality is GOOD
human society must be as unequal as possible to survive
