That Brazil "deathcore" scene (they used the term 20 years before it meant something totally different) is pretty fucking great. The earliest Sepultura, Vulcano, Holocausto, Necrobutcher, Sarcófago, etc. Love how it's all some sorta combo of thrash/death/black metal with enough of a sloppy punk feel to it that only helped make the music more atmospheric and intense.
