Nah that was this day

what do you mean? the league was pretty much dead before lebron and curry

you niggas think every past time was better, you need therapy

This and "the decision"

excuse me? that was prime GOAT season.

>le chucks a three up on a fastbreak every time

>le pass to durant man

Are you denying the NBA now is more popular than ever? LeBron is 50 times more famous than Jordan, Kobe or Shaq, believe it or not

>lelbron more popular than jordan
Pero de que carajos hablas pelotudo de mierda
Kobe? Maybe, but in no way he is more popular than jordan, he is the very first thing that comes to mind when you say "basketball"

I only started watching nba because of Curry.

No the first thing that comes to mind is
>A Basketball

same here

are you on drugs? once in a while they come out with name-recognition factors for athletes globally and jordan is number 1 is basketball
AND HES BEEN RETIRED FOR OVER TEN FUCKING YEARS

holy shit this argentine must be trolling
early 2000s was great
AI
shaq&kobe
TMAC
duncan
NBA was nowhere near dead before lebron and curry

Steph is great but what he did to the league is awful. The entire league, every single game, is just a 3-point shooting contest

I really hope LeBron can ram it down their throats again in June, fuck this jump-shooting faggot team, I hope LeBron beats them every year until he retires

the 00 laker's were fucking cancer, look at their ratings compared to the 90's bulls.

just because they are not as popular as the most popular teams ever does not mean they were 'cancer'
'01 finals are still the highest rated finals since the '98 finals

how the hell do u stop him

Everyone on this board circlejerks early 2000s in every sport because all of the 20-somethings here were kids at the time.

Early 2000s NBA was shite compared to 90s and 80s.

being worse than the two best eras of basketball of all time isn't bad. compared to the current era the early 00s were amazing

i dont circlejerk early 2000s as amazing
i just think they were objectively "not shit"

The NBA died when David Stern pussified the league and got rid of hard fouls. I don't think any of the current players are inherently soft, I think they're forced to be soft by the league, and the game is worse for it. The edge is gone.

Reminder than MJ is literally worth more than a billion dollars.

...

and dresses like this

must be nice

Cavs average more 3 point shots per game I believe

Yea I work at a sports start up. The Bulls have been mediocre forever and its still one of the most valuable logos in the world.

That is all because of Jordan.

he is the easiest starter to shut down on dubs

>'01 finals are still the highest rated finals since the '98 finals
Thanks to Iverson, nothing to do with the Lakers.

It's true. Warriors are 5th in 3pt attempts, cavs are 3rd

by this logic technically its not curry that killed the NBA, its the inclusion of the 3 point shot

You mean the day that the NBA became litty again

My mother knows who MJ was, she doesn't know Kobe nor LeBronco
