first for next natty title coach

SECOND for G5 UP-N-COMER

This thread has been claimed for the glory of the University of Louisiana.

who?

Fuck Debbie. Stay strong wyo. if she is as bad as you say I'm sure everyone hates her and she'll get fired soon.

Why does the ACC get to be good in Football and Basketball? What the hell makes the Carolinas desirable places to go to school?

UNC is among the most elite public institutions in the country.

Duke and Wake are among the most elite schools for medicine and law.

North Carolina is a beautiful state.
>Smoky Mountains in the west
>Outer Banks and great beaches in the east
>Top-tier business cities Raleigh, Charlotte

South Carolina
>Charleston, arguably the GOAT Southern City
>Myrtle Beach, lots of trash but also an international Golf destination
>Hilton Head Island - ELITE vacation spot

The Carolinas have a bunch of schools, and each has its own specialty

>Football Schools
Clemson, ECU, App State

>Basketball Schools
Duke, North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest

>Baseball Schools
Coastal Carolina, South Carolina

They are good at soccer and lacrosse too.

xth for fuck debbie

>tfw the Big 12 could be respectable if they just allowed UH and SMU into the conference

it hurts bruh

They need Nebraska back.

ECU is excellent at Baseball as well, moreso than football in recent years, unfortunately.

>Still waiting on coach Mo to turn ECU football around this fall. I'll give him a bad season on his first year.

>more texas schools

What do medicine and law have to do with attracting undergrad students you dumb hick?

>more Texas schools in the Big XII

That' exactly why SMU and UH couldn't get in.

The Big XII needs fresh blood in new markets or it's going to fail.

>spoiler alert: it's going to fail.

The farce of a championship game this season is going to be funny to watch.

they're GOAT in basically everything, jackass.

why does /cfb/ have so many autists?

>tfw the Big 12 could be respectable if they just allowed Cincinnati and BYU into the conference

objectively the best idea

Who is that

A bitchy office secretary than verbally abuses Wyo.

...

so did that offseason NCAA 14 online dynasty ever get started?

>UNC
>Trump

North Carolina is one of the most liberal schools on the planet earth.

I would also add Colorado State University, and give away WVU to the ACC.

SOON

>North Carolina is one of the most liberal schools on the planet earth.

Can confirm.

Conservatives in NC all go to ECU, NC State, and maybe a little bit Wake Forest.

Liberals go to UNC.

Hippies go to App.

Foreigners go to Duke.

>Charlotte
WE WUZ

We don't want them thanks senpai

Smokey is cuter than dubs.

#Hottake

>Charlotte

Still waiting for them to be relevant.

I know a total of one person who wasn't FROM Charlotte who has gone there. And he went for Law school, not undergrad.

...but you DO want WVU??

My bad, >we meant the ACC
What the Big Bad-At-Math does with its hick schools is none of my business

>Not wanting the Pitt/WVU rivalry
>Not wanting another good football school

>Big Bad-At-Math
which one?

Pitt's rival is Penn State, hillbillies get fucked
And being able to spell is a requirement for our conference

user, those are the logos of teams of states the voted for each candidate. It's not saying that those universities voted for Trump/Hillary, just the state that they're in did.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backyard_Brawl

>really makes you think

>The football rivalry is the 14th oldest in the United States

>The 2009 Backyard Brawl was the most watched game in the history of ESPN2

Get fucked.

yea. in week 9 now

posted it in discord but i'll post here too i guess

discuss this

charlotte doesn't have a law school

he probably means that For-Profit "Charlotte School of Law" that is basically getting fucked in the ass by accrediting agencies right now.

how does one get an invite to the discord?

I like it.

topkek at Navy being in the B group, while Boston College is in the A group.

same with UCF and USF.

>Appalachian conference

>no Appalachian State

really makes you think

Only cool posters allowed

Sorry user but I don't think you make the cut

what makes you say that?

tried to get a link for you but its not generating one for some reason. I'll try again later.

just kinda threw the teams in groups without much thought of who would realistically be in A and B

didn't even notice lel

I didn't even know that Charlotte School of Law existed, but yeah that's definitely it.

ECU and App State should switch in that, but it's pretty good.

Also, having a third place game would ruin both teams' motivation.

Expect all the NFL caliber players to sit that one out if they know they aren't competing for a natty.

>ECU and App State should switch

That's fine with me. Atlantic is stacked. Appalachian looks much more winnable, imo.

Atlantic Group B is a cake walk in that scenario.

Group A is stacked though.

ECU has been an ACC bridesmaid for decades, with the last 2 seasons being the exception.

bamp

>OLE PISS

Then they graduate and vote Trump.

Ayyy so when does baseball start

>#19 end of the season team
>group b
youre a literal retard

>A decent SB Nation blog name
That's a change

Oh hush, they're all great.

>he doesn't read Life of Wyo

why tho

Because it's good shit?

see Put App State where it is to keep rivalries alive, but i could see why the other way makes sense

i mean we already have that happen (Fournette, McCaffrey)

Ayo, what's good hombres?

Just glad that I live in this timeline

Well, politically, not /cfb/

>ECU had a terrible year

Let me berate strangers because I didn't read the thread all the way

>Put App State where it is to keep rivalries alive

I think App and Marshall would make GREAT rivals.

There's one too many FBS teams in West Virginia as it stands.

But App State IS in the FBS senpai

They actually ARE rivals, though its been dormant since Marshall left the Southern Conference in the 90s.

Some of the old timers up here in Boone talk about Marshall the same way we talk about Georgia Southern.

winsipedia.com/marshall/vs/appalachian-state

>winsipedia.com/marshall/vs/appalachian-state

Oh damn.

ECU and Marshall have a strong friendly-rival relationship. ECU has a memorial at Dowdy Ficklen for the Marshall team that died on its way home from Greenville.

Reminder that fbs playoffs suck

that's a nice dig, except State is arguably more conservative than ECU.

that's why its such a travesty that ecu and the herd are no longer conference bros

>except State is arguably more conservative than ECU

Nah senpai, I watched the crowd BOO THE SHIT out of the ECU band when a few players took a knee during the national anthem.

They got BOO'd AGAIN when they came out during half time too.

ECU is Trump country.

The SoCon in the 1990s was maximum /comfy/

Yeah, I don't think Marshall could compete in the AAC after watching them collapse last season.

Chattanooga is a potential Sun Belt call-up someday I've heard. Would be cool to reunite them with their old conference mates.

Marshall was elite in '13/'14/'15 though.

I think they could compete at least as well as UConn, or Smoo.

>Marshall was elite in '13/'14/'15 though.

You gotta play somebody to be somebody.

Didn't they get skipped during bowl season recently?

Not in 2016, unless you think a good APR should've got them a bowl at 3-9

Different conferences have different TV contracts and different revenue. The question isn't whether Marshall could compete tomorrow, it's "Could they compete if they had AAC money to spend?" (even Memphis is suddenly breddy gud now that they have an actual budget).

My guess is NO, because West Virginia, even WVU gets smacked down when facing actual Big 12 competition.

If anyone's replaced UConn in the AAC it'll be WKU, Southern Miss or La Tech.

>AAC meme magic

Go Owls

Rice, Temple, or FAU?

>My guess is NO, because West Virginia

It's not in that bad a spot though. Reasonable recruiting distance from New York, Philly, DC, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit...

And you're telling me you can find 22 kids who would rather spend four years in WEST VIRGINIA than one of those places?

Okay, Pitt and Detroit maybe, but the rest.......

>Jake Bentley interview in the State paper

I BELIEVE

They manage to find kids who want to spend their college years in Alabama, Nebraska, Indiana and Mississippi, though they had to pay the Ole Miss ones

92nd for go gators

Do you need a nap?

Executions should be legal and mandatory for people who think this is a good idea.

>tfw elite qb
>youtube.com/watch?v=C4wttk49heo
HOW CAN WHITE BOI EVEN COMPETE

>mad at innovation

Weeaboo poster is a Ricefag

fuck noooo, I totally forgot about that. How's the league been going?

Shh, it'll only drive him more crazy.
