Seriously the only thing wrong with this band is their production. The lyrics suck but pop lyrics tend to suck as a rule, I can practically guarantee everyone in this thread has at least one album in their collection with similarly shitty content. It's mostly just the mixing too, if they could just get someone to figure that out for them it would honestly be pretty solid.
The real problem is that they're trying to make indie pop after the indie pop explosion of the 2000s, it might be good but nobody is going to care if there are fifty thousand other good bands that all sound basically the same.
