Why is this the most famous frame in Stalker?
Why is this the most famous frame in Stalker?
I prefer this one
The question is: why is it such a great frame?
because its the least understood
I literally can't remember this frame, it's a lot brighter than how I remember this scene.
oh cool explain
i forgot how small they seem in this scene
Because it's more unique I guess.
why do they have to walk so carefully are there mines or what
Cause the Stalker is wary of going forward into The Zone
they're like lying in a fucking graveyard there and coming to realization of their mortality and shieeeet
the series was garbage though
>le new case every episode
>gets cleared up each time
Juxtaposition of elements. Depth of field. Framing. Good visual metaphor and imagery. If you wanted some easy picks off the top.
well there isn't an explanation; it's just kind of the most far out/vague moment in the film. Not to mention the monologue from the writer making eye contact and never breaking with the camera is an emotionally shaking moment. It just has the most mystery to it and emotes more than other scenes in the movie
this is a personal still tarkovsky shot on the set
here's the actual shot from the film
Invisible traps, supposedly
>11pm
russians please g
Magic traps set by an alien presence.
Booby traps.
I sort of figured it was in the Stalker's head, in the film.
What movie?
Batman Forever
Oh thank you that's why I never saw it.
Yeah, I agree. I was actually being kinda ironic because the frame itself, which OP mentions, doesn't have any meaning or so.
Because of me
Because everyone thought that was The Room, but it was just a weird room.
