I went into this election thinking "holy fuck all these candidates are horrible". I was disgusted by the evangelical shills spending the entire debates talking about banning abortion and unwinnable social issues.
I didn't like Trump because I still remembered him from 2012 dicking around and making a lot of talk about running just to get press for his show. I though he was doing the same this time, but by the 2nd debate he was winning me over. The first time I really rooted for him was when he was destroying Rand Paul. I hate Rand and his grandstanding "muh Constitution" politics, so I was really happy to see him get wrecked. That showed
To;dr I mostly came to like Trump by enjoying him taking down people I hate like Jeb Bush, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio.
When I thought about the fact that he will be best friends with Putin and soon Assad, and bring put an end to IS
Charles Jones
I didn't really care about American elections since it's just government establishment candidates that will continue the status quo.
Then Trump happened. Granted I'm still skeptical if he really is an outsider but he's the only breath of fresh air in the US candidacy for president.
Once he mentioned taking jobs back from countries of the world and the wall he won me over.
Jason Myers
When I realized he was unstumpable.
Landon Peterson
When he became the only viable option against Hillary. Anyone but a democrat please.

when i started looking for the "racism" everyone was bitching about and instead started marathonning his rallies
Robert Walker
This. The media here is especially vicious against him. They never stopped saying how racist, sexist, and every other -ism he is, then I went to check it out myself, and found out that the "racist" thing was wanting to stop illegal immigration.
Jayden Thomas
>hate the constitution >would vote against it
Don't you still have capital punishment for treason in America?
Also when he went in front of Aipac and said "you're not going to support me because I don't want your money"
Eli Lopez
I was leaning mostly towards Bernie, but gave Trump some of my attention because he was funny. After actually listening to what he had to say, I began to unironically support him.
I think this is the best way to turn people into Trump supporters. If they're somewhat open-minded, tell them to watch a Trump rally just for a laugh.
Parker Collins

My very first thought when he started running was, "I like him but he's gonna have to tone down the way he talks if he wants to get far" boy was I wrong.

pretty much once he announced he was running, then the first time I heard him speak he sold me
>addressed radical islam >addressed border security issue >addressed job loss >trashed obama >trashed establishments >sounded like the only one to genuinely care about this country
Tyler Diaz
When I realized he was redpilled on 9/11. I want the true traitors behind that attack to get what's coming to them and Trump is probably the one who could do that. He could also allow American people to take their country back.

Up until this election I had never voted. I considered myself a liberal, but I never really got into politics. One day I was talking to my boyfriend and I said man, I don't like trump, and he simply said "why" and I honestly had no idea. I started looking into all the things I had heard about trump like the "racism against immigrants" and "sexism against megyn kelly" and I realized I was not only completely wrong in everything I thought about trump but he was actually pretty friggin awesome. I took a test on isidewith.com/ and got 81% Trump.
Luckily all this happened in time for both myself and my boyfriend to cast our first ever votes for Donald Trump in the South Carolina primary :)
Christian Evans
Don't suppose you have any QT single friends that would be interested in a NC bf would you?
Who am I kidding there's like a 90% chance this is some faggot or tranny.
Landon Turner
When he submitted his financials. I dug up his history and concluded that if he makes a sincere effort to run he will come out swinging. Trump's businesses are private so releasing financials for a joke run leaves him vulnerable fr no reason.
William Murphy
"tits or gtfo" doesn't work here. I'd assume most Sup Forums girls are respectable enough not to disgrace western civilization by acting like whores.
Jose Campbell
I'm just following his campaign for the laffs. Never thought he'd get this far.
I think he'll go back on about 90% of his policies if elected though.
Colton Bailey
never liked taking a side on politics, especially since my mom is a huge hillary campaigner, i never wanted to be at that level

for me it was between sanders and trump. i went on both of there websites. half of sanders website was about how cops are mean to black people. half of trumps site was about bringing back jobs and immigration it really was not that hard
David Sanchez
when he announced The Wall. I'm unemployed so I guess he will create jobs on this side of the border too... I'll dig a tunnel just in case I can't enter USA legally tho :)

It was some time after Rand Paul dropped out when I looked into what people were saying about him a little more closely and found it to be mostly bullocks.

>muh abortion yes. you should be punished if you "make a mistake". both men and women should be held responsible for their reproductive organs. if they can't be, they should be removed from the gene pool. "oh no, i've made a mistake". yeah, well, put your dick back in your fucking pants, you fucking pissant. this world doesnt have time for people like you who would justify the murder of children due to convenience.
Jacob Ross
I wondered why everyone hates him so much, and I looked at his policies. I found myself agreeing with most of them.
That mouth. That fucking mouth. How many times did I tell you not to post that fucking mouth?
Dominic Gomez
Probably doesn't matter much since I am not an American, but when I first heard he was running for president, I thought it would be great for some laughs. I kinda followed the 2012 elections so I remembered how hilarious the entire ordeal could get, but I was a bit too young then to fully understand it. Then I started hearing about what Trump actually wanted to achieve and his points against the rapefugees plus his political incorrectness made him very appealing to me. So yeah, can't pinpoint a precise moment, but it happened fairly quickly.
Dominic Lewis
i thought he was doing it for publicity again like last time hearing him talk like a true american patriot and not some pussywhipped fuckboy is probably what did it for me
i think the memes also play a pretty big hand in switching people over
Nathan Allen
His power of creating fascinating and timeless memes at the drop of the hat is unprecedented. He simply plants his stumps and doesn't nudge, telling the kike tabloid media narrative to literally fuck itself and even subverts it. When it became obvious that it would be Trump and Hillary, very early on in the year was the point for me.
Joseph Cooper
When Hillary took a firm lead despite, yanno, being a criminal lying sack of white trash shit. ...I mean seriously, who loots the white house?
Blake Brooks
I wrote him off for a while, and didn't really like him all that much. My support bounced from Walker to Carson then to Cruz, before I ended up on Trump. The moment it got to me that he was my guy was when he started talking about how Europe needs to start paying for their own shit when it comes to the military and to stop leeching off us and off NATO.
Julian Bailey
By the time Can't Stump The Trump 6 came out I had a positive view.
When Webb dropped out I switched to supporting Rand. When Rand dropped out I switched to supporting Trump.

Once I made my own research on him when the media wouldn't shut up. After a while I started to appreciate him and even read one of his books (In its original language of course). I can't pinpoint an exact moment but really, the more you learn about the man, the more you love him.
You have no idea how great it feels to be an Hispanic supporter and trigger lefties. I even mention the Guatemala Border to them and they can't stump me.
Levi Wilson
Ayy canuck weighing in Trump never won me over, but he did wind up being the closest person to what I would really want in a candidate.
A good nation is comprised and lead by its founding sort, keeps women in their place and is still expanding aggressively and self-interestedly. This is the zenith of the greatest empires, after which comes the start of stagnation as wealth is horded and walls are constructed to protect what's already been amassed.
Trump isn't making America genuinely great again, since he's not exactly about to delegitimize the US government to make discrimination legal and turn women back into property before trying to invade Mexico or whatever..but he is at least hoping to turn the clock back to a point far better than what you've got going now, which is probably more feasible anyway.
Ayden Mitchell
That's just a normal night for Trump, it's his nightly routine to help him relax before going to bed.

I work in the media. During the summer, everyone was making fun of Trump and nobody took it seriously.
One day I happened to visit here -- it was right after he visited the border and met with the border guards. And there was a kind of energy that I found hard to describe. I'd never seen it before.
I watched a rally and saw the same thing. These things are usually rote, and in the summer candidates have to really ride their supporters hard to get anyone to show up, much less applaud and show any enthusiasm. But Trump rallies were packed.
You literally saw a movement form -- he latched on to the "silent majority" and that's probably the best, but it's literally a movement of the dispossessed, the pissed off, the ones that are taken for granted.
I'm pretty sure I was the only reporter in my department that was pro-Trump. I would guess at least half of them are now, and that number is growing.
Joshua Rodriguez
>Bernie bros trying to appeal to me because I'm black >Everyone calling everything that deals with Trump racist >Bernie supporters calling me an uncle tom >Actually took the time to read his policies >realized I'm in college so why the fuck do I care about free college? >Learned what socialism is realized it's something I don't want here in America >Bernie saying whites need to apologize for slavery and when you're white you don't know what it's like to be poor >Bernie supporters blaming us Blacks for his defeat >Decide to do some research about Trump >Read his policies, watch his rallies/interviews/debates >"Oh shit, this man is making some sense" >mfw Chicago was the final straw for me and got on the train
This shit ain't right I tell you. There are people who have told me that they are against racism and they call me an uncle tom. What the fuck
Levi Hughes
Black Trump supporters are the fucking best.
William Carter
>When did you become Pro-Trump When the media was pumping out hate pieces about him 24/7 and I actually started to research him on my own. Turns out I agree with him on a lot of things and what truly won me over is the fact that he's a family man.
While I can't vote for him, he's certainly shown me a glimmer of hope, that the western world isn't going to die with a whimper.
Leo Peterson
>you hate Rand Paul loving the Constitution >Not his unelectability or hypocrisy
Samuel Garcia
Progressives build tribalistic ethnic political machines by conflating interests. If you go against the interests of the Democrats, you're said to be going against the interests of black people. Check out the Glenn Ford movie Trial. It's a narrative demonstration of what later became Alinskyite principles, showing how they work.
Robert Miller
>Bernie bros trying to appeal to me because I'm black >Everyone calling everything that deals with Trump racist >Bernie supporters calling me an uncle tom
This is how the Democrats lose elections. They cannot believe that people who are poor, or black, or women, or whatever marketing demographic you care to name would ever vote for a reason other than "this guy will give you more money."
Nolan Myers
Nigga won me over back in 2004. First he was on SNL and was hilarious. He's a big billionaire, but he can laugh at himself. YA FIYAD!
Then later that same year, there was a story about how he was against the Iraq War. This was during an election year, so it was a big deal. I was surprised that he took the position opposite of the Republican Party. So that got my attention.
Then in 2012, when he was talking about running for president, I thought it would be hilarious if he ran. Now that he's running, I agree with him on lots of stuff, and I like his sense of humor.
Blake Jackson
Thank you, but the anger moments are over for me now. I'm glad we've reached the point in this election where we can sit back and just laugh now.
Honestly, I've dealt with the worst from January to March because I was curious on a lot of things. First time in my young adult years where I have ever felt offended, not even from the multiple nigger hate threads on Sup Forums. Just the fact that these people are telling me because I'm black I have to think one way and vote this way. Hell I've been on Sup Forums since the very beginning and I've sat with this board through all the great happenings, however this election actually made me think about something.
I could go on about what angers me the most, but now I just laugh because we're only 6 months away from the great day. All the butthurt from the Bernie supporters, Hilary's stupid pandering, all the failed anti-Trump, MULTIPLE people getting BTFO, did I mention I'm glad Whoopi and Shaprton will leave if Trump wins?
GOD IT FEELS GREAT TO BE AN AMERICAN RIGHT NOW!
Jeremiah Gomez
Back in January before the Iowa caucus. I wasn't to into him until March. That's when I went full on trump. Before that I honestly thought he was a joke but I realized he was the only viable option and I actually agreed with many of his issues.
Samuel Lee
There was a point where Medgar Evers' brother was on MSNBC after he endorsed Trump.
This is what a person from outside America saw:
> black man on TV > brother was assassinated for black civil rights > WHITE PEOPLE ARGUING WITH HIM OVER USING THOSE RIGHTS TO VOTE FOR SOMEONE THEY DON'T APPROVE OF
I'm not sure if it was Sup Forums or Mygyn Kylly who caused him to win my heart. I honestly was dead set on not caring and didn't much like the guy in the first place.
Ayden Collins
I read his book "How To Make America Great Again" and I liked it. He seems like a down-to-earth guy who just wants to solve problems without all the political and bureaucratic bullshit. Plus every career politician is shitting his pants over him, meaning they're scared of finally being found out as the lazy parasites they are.
Tyler White
I was raised in raided phonenix. I want to destroy invaders as any sovern nation should the instant it happens. THE DAY HE SAID WALL, then all the constant national socialist signaling since, was all we needed to know he was who we were waiting for. It is literally liver or die by trump, he is pres, or it is war. Right is finished with its previous leadership and Trump is our last signal we are giving before there is a populist genocide of the invaders and the enablers. that is what is really going on in this country people, because we hold the majority only now it has to be now, be ready.
Robert Ramirez
Yeah I saw that video, though this Cleveland rally with the black pastor really spoke to me. I had a friend tell me that he was mad at somethings in America and was disappointed in me that I would even consider supporting him. I told him just because I support him doesn't mean I hate Mexicans, I'm just now realizing we have more problems that bigger than the little thing known as racism and if you think YOU'RE mad at something? No, EVERYONE in this country is mad at something.
I was mostly for him as soon as I found out he was running because I have been single-issue on immigration since 2012 or 2013. I didn't know if he was THE guy, though, since Ted Cruz was also posturing as strongly as he was on immigration.
It was a combination of finding out that Cruz would probably focus too much energy on dumb-dumb cuckservative social stuff and was probably going to be kind of weak on immigration and Trump demonstrating that he could run to the center for the general and would actually hit back against attackers.
Any single moment that pushed me the most? The Muslim ban speech.
Elijah Johnson
When I heard what he said about rosie. I fucking HATE that bitch
Ian Morris
After the first debate. I thought he was an idiot, and I thought the campaign was a joke. When I saw how little he actually considered the mainstream media's opinions, it was almost like a switch. He didn't back down, no matter what he said. Even though some say that's done, it's the principle that matters. In a day and age where anyone on television holds whatever you say against you out of context, they berate you for not thinking like they do, and they judge you on only a few seconds of screentime, they've finally found their kryptonite and they are having a meltdown. The playbook they made isn't working, and they don't know what to do. For those too bluepilled, they feel justified, but for those on the fence they're watching Trump pull back the curtain.
Jaxson Cox
He wants to protect the West, he is the only candidate that I feel wants to stand up for the West honestly.

I think it should be legal in cases of actual rape and incest, but preveting it won't do any good, people will still search for illegal ways. Better to make it legal, but have an exorbiant price/tax rate.
James Sullivan
For me, it wasn't so much the WALL (MAGA) or the deportations.
It was two things really, the innocent retweet of TRUE black on white crime statistics. As well him wanting to stay neutral between Israel and Palestine. Mentioning that going in to Iraq destabilized the region was an added bonus as I thought I was one of the few who believed that fact.
Asher Jackson
When I first heard he was bringing up immigration and the wall. Mentioning it at all got my attention and seeing how his competitors reacted only solidified my interest.
I agree with a lot of his other policies too, particularly financial ones, but this was the first thing I heard.

I didn't like either of the Democrats, and when I saw the dozens of Republicans I didn't see any of them that I immediately liked
As the race went on I followed who was winning and who wasn't, and the entirety of the coverage seemed to be about "it's disgusting that trump has any numbers at all." I would say I started being pro-Trump since early, early on when I spent all the time watching election coverage hoping Trump would win just for the liberal and establishment tears.
Before the MI Primary I actually started researching in earnest and at that point I decided to vote Trump for legitimate reasons.
