If you're into Lovecraft, you have to see The Void

Blair witch project.

freaky shit...

28 Days Later was very good.

Sinister wont disappoint you user .

...

I'm not OP but are there any on Netflix?

It will, is shit.

Deathgasm wasn't bad

> Juicy

Yeah but somewhat cringy.

Passionately underrated

Hatchet 1 and 2 (don't bother with 3) if you like 80s horror. It's an ode to 80s slashers with almost all practical effects. Fun cameos too.

If you're into Lovecraft, watch Dagon. It's basically The Shadow Over Innsmouth but with a sense of humor (the same director made Re-Animator). Also, the girl who plays Barbara is GORGEOUS.

OP here. I've literally seen everything mentioned in this thread so far....

Hope it will keep you entertained

Bad taste
Tokyo gore police
Itchi the killer
Serbian film

The Changeling (1980) and the Haunting (1963) are two of my favourites. More atmospheric than just gore or jump scares, but they may be a bit slow to please many these days.

the descent is a pretty good one imo
dont bother with paranormal activity thats 12 yo shit

I liked "It Follows" alot. Good psychological horror.

/concur, although opinions are surprisingly split.
It was very clever in a number of ways.

If we're talking Neil Marshall than Dog Soldiers is enjoyable in a stupid way. Gotta give it props for minimal CGI.

The Pact 2012
Don't Breathe 2016
You're Next 2011
The Orphanage 2007
Julia's Eyes 2010
Citadel 2012
The Strangers 2008

all i can think of right now will add more if they come to mind

The cube

Saw that and A Serbian Film on the same day. Bit much for a 24 hour period.

First half of Martyrs is amazing; second half is a bit of a letdown.

The Witch is still the best horror of the last couple of years desu.

Friday XIII 1980
Jaws 1975
IT 1990
The Thing 1982
Alien 1979

Dr.Boo and the Spooky Crew (1929)

Trust me, you wont blink for a week.

For old school horror:
> Hellraiser series
> Nightmare on elmstreet series
> Halloween series ( -3rd movie for continuity)
> Evil Back Dead series
> Poltergeist series
> Childs play
> Friday the 13th series
That should keep you busy for a while...

this, scary af

Also "wait until dark"
"a touch of evil"
the original 'psycho'.

hollywood bullshit, how is "it follows" even scary? I watched because every praised the fuck out of it and in the end it is just lacklustre jumpscare bullshit, not at all psychological... also, the "monster" is a fucking STD, lol... bible belt horror. :D

these are not horror movies

God tier

everyone into horror has already seen them, so your recommendation is worthless

Not as scary as this shit.

mmmmh... is this horror? More Dystopian Scifi with only a little bit of horror...

No details were given.
> Worthless opinion ignored

It's more action scifi thriller but it's fun fuck

Cube is horror. Cube 2: Hypercube is more Sci Fi.

I feel the same way, but have since learned that many people find the concept of it follows genuinely terrifying. Like they find the movie difficult to watch. I don't understand it, but they do.

Noroi the Curse, I watched it as a teenager and I basically just remember it scared the heck out of me, I thought it was pretty fucking good.

they just added a few of wes cravens films. nightmare on elm street is a classic and still holds up decently well. scream too if you like satire. not really that scary, but a great deconstruction of the genre. netflix has always had garbage horror movies and id wish theyd add better stuff. another one i enjoyed at least was last shift. not great but better than shit at least.

Black Mountain Side - lovecraftian-esque. wooden acting at times and a bit of a slow burn and mediocre story, but several shots and events make it worth checking out at the least

The Conjuring 1&2 - Both are pretty great. mostly rational protagonists and decent tension building make them stand out. personally i like the second one better than the first

[REC] - found footage and zombie so pretty played out these days but it does both very well. i enjoyed the second one too, but it wasnt as great imo. avoid the third and the remake because they suck ass.

im definitely forgetting a few, but there.

These are some of the horror films I liked pretty well (in no particular order):
The Signal (2007)
Hush (2016)
Curve (2015)
Coherence (2013)
Ravenous (1999)
Mine Games (2012)
American Mary (2012)
The Invitation (2015)
Southbound (2016)
Excision (2012)
Body (2015)
Feast (2005)
Absentia (2011)
The Loved Ones (2012)
Raw (2017)
Burning Bright (2010)
The Revenant (2009)
Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006)
Pontypool (2008)
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006)
Lovely Molly (2012)
Frozen (No, not the Disney movie) (2010)

>Evil Back Dead series

I deserve that.
Meant to say evil dead obviously

The grudge
Emily Rose
Silent hill
