There's a lot of weird shit in this area.
Can't find any information anywhere.

They're big.

Lurking

For you

niggers

There has been activity at this site as far back as 1993.

There's a couple little shacks to the east of the site.
These are present in all the pictures going as far back as 1993.

This structure was added in the last 5 years.

There is a much smaller site to the northeast.

Initially, looked like the mills of some kind of water treatment system, but kind of disproves it. I'm staying tuned for updates, because now I'm curious too.

And another to the northwest

There are no paved access roads and the unpaved roads do not appear to be maintained.
There are no major structures or compounds.
The nearest city is Canby to the south.

Antelope plains?

modoc national forest antelope plains

There is another site to the northwest which has only one circle which is larger.

...

I've done much Googling with those keywords.
Nothing thus far.

Bump

antelope plains in modoc county

"Antelope Plains is a physical feature (lake) in Modoc County. The primary coordinates for Antelope Plains places it within the CA 96015 ZIP Code delivery area."

This doesn't explain the circles though.

looks weird for a lake though

Anyone call the office and ask?

I will if you're all faggots.

There's something on the south end which almost looks like a tower of some sort.

i'm guessing missile silo's , or some sort of attempt at communication via ground patterns OR some sort of farm... farmers sometimes grow crops in circle patterns because it's the cheapest way to water them.

Do it.
Record the call so we can hear.

i am emailing them now. give them a call quick too though and ask

>ITT: faggy kids never seen an oxidation pool

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Center_pivot_irrigation

Might have something to do with the sage steppe restoration, though I'm not an expert in agriculture or forestry.

I don't think so.
It's a national forest plus those circular farms are WAY bigger.

that is 100% not cpi

>irrigating the middle of a fucking lake

could be growing drugs then , that's usually the only type of farming that goes down in national forests

Oxidation ponds generally do not have circular islands in their centers. Nor are they generally round themselves.

Wanna take your autism medication so that you can explain yourself?

BUT NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW

not to mention theres
this wierd crack that connects a few of them, maybe comtenental plates?

Its kinda hard to see though

That almost looks like an animal trail.

>communication via ground patterns

In what way do you think that that is secure enough to be viable? Surely no one can spot giant, easily visible circles in the ground. Or maybe I've misunderstood your point?

lol how so

if it's in the middle of a lake then those wallls might be built to keep fish inside. maybe some wild man lives in the shed and is eating fish in little man made ponds

Oxidation ponds for what??
They're in the middle of nowhere.

It does seem to be some form of wetlands irrigation. btw i's NOT a lake, it's wetlands.

According Jane on the phone they're for travelling geese. They're manmade nesting grounds for them as they come through to help bolster the populations.

They're located in the middle of a lake to protect them from predators.

the circles are made to help some species, was mentiond yesterday or something.

I'm going to go with my initial hunch and say this is all part of a sagebrush restoration project, and that the water surrounding the mounds is being used for irrigation.

forgot to tag

Just a guess. It looks like the grass is just flattened out a bit.

This guy wins.
/thread

I just noticed something hella freaky
On the bottom all the round things have a strange curved line esque island right next to them

That definitely makes sense. Thank you, based sir.

lol what.
this is worst kind of bullshit i've seen in a while.

Call them yourself and ask for Jane. She was able to answer right away. It's for the dumb angry geese.

it's not about visibility it's about figuring out how to decypher wtf it means without any sort of context. if new ones keep popping up or if older ones get erased that could be used as a form of communication.

I'm pretty sure that's a pile of rocks.

Thanks user, you're a scholar, a gentleman and a faget.

fws.gov/refuge/Modoc/wildlife_and_habitat/CanadaGeese.html

They're KANGZ AND SHIEET

I also noticed this wierd red spot on the map, maybe it has underwater thermal vents or volcanoes? it cant be coral, because its in a lake
If i was crazy id say maybe someone or some animal was killed there.

This fuckin' savage right here.

Yeah but why is it in the exact same area on ten different islands/mounds?

based user

Because they're manmade.

Or it's red algae on a floodplain.

They are man-made islands for waterfowl nesting. The whole area is a swamp, but it was so dry at the time that this photo was taken that there is no water surrounding some of the islands.

Well then, im a dumbass

I should have thought of that... (;_;)

So they're spending tax dollars to provide welfare housing for canadians. Great.

This is for calibrating satellites in orbit you retarded fucks
