>90s kids are the last good generation because they know they life before internet/social media/smart tech
Question for oldfriends: if I was born in 95, do you consider me a le 90s kid or a disgusting filthy rotten repulsive participation trophy total drama island Minecraft iCarly selfie 00s piece of trash? I mean, I remember a lot of stuff that "only" 90s kids would remember still being around from 2000-2006.
I've heard people say the 00s were "the last fun decade to be a teen in". I mean, even though I was mostly a teen in 2010-2012, I was also technically a "teen" in 2008-09...that still counts as pre-widespread social media, right? I know Facebook was invented in 2004, but it didn't really get popular until 2011; 2005 to 2010 was the "Myspace era".
I just barely, narrowly dodged a bullet...... right?
If you were born after 1987, you're part of the problem.
Sebastian Gomez
Anyone born after 1993 is a millenial faggot.

I literally don't even know what americans mean by le 90s kid, just don't be a faggot and you're good to go.

Grayson Clark
Anything born after 1982 is actually a millennial. I mean, what generation do you think I'm in if not millennial?
Benjamin Hall
You are a 00 faggot. 1984 here fuck you.
Zachary Bailey
Anyone 1991 here?
Xavier Ward
Who gives a shit anyway. It's a meme decade, only autistic people are proud of it

this desu, i was born in 95 and my earliest memory was the new millenium celebration in london
Dylan Cook
I'm technically a millenial being born in 1986. I'm turning 30 this year, have a kid and a mortgage, and I'm no longer in school. I remember when N64 came out, dial up was all there was, payphones were important, beepers were the cell phones and kids played outside with their friends.
My sister was born in 1997. She's turning 18 years old and graduating high school. She's had a smart phone and fast speed internet since she was 6. She has never played outside as a child and she cries when her clothes weren't designer. She's been fired from a boutique for stealing, subway, a smoothie shop and has yet to find another job.
It really irks me we are considered the same generation even though the differences in the world in which we grew up were enormous.
Luis Hall

>1995 If you didnt watch Gummi Bears as a kid you arent a 90s kid
Being a 90s kid is a marketing thing. It only applies to kids that grew up watching TV and playing games, the difference between us and the 00s is the games and tv shows.
It doesnt really apply to kids that just played outs.
Going from that, 90s vs 00s is really gay. I actually think the late 00s will be more repilled than us on average. Their generation is growing up with places like Sup Forums being popular, they're getting the best right vs left exposure.
I mean the hate on PC culture/SJW is YUGE. It's our generation and the oldfaggots 70/80s that made Marxism popular.
Jack Adams
my bad leaf, didnt mean to tag you.
Are you triggered?
Levi Sanders
>I know Facebook was invented in 2004, but it didn't really get popular until 2011; 2005 to 2010 was the "Myspace era".
Kek, no. I remember joining Facebook in 2007 and thinking I was 'late to the party.'
Luis Hughes
You were 6 when this country made its first big move to becoming shit and 12 when became cancer. Sorry user, but you will never know what it's like to have actual hope for a great future.
Michael Long
Fuck off chair force fag.
Logan Garcia
This I was born in 92 and I only remember bits of 98/99 and I was to young to experience much. My childhood happened from 2000 to 2007.

If you don't remember this you're literally a faggot.
Ethan Jones

I basically got the childhood of a US kid born in '85. We were so culturally behind here, still kind of are in some places, including where i live. I go to see my family in winnipeg and hear a bunch of pop music i've never heard of, a month later it's on the radio stations here nonstop
it's kinda weird. It was a lot worse before the internet, it's easy to see someone mention something new on facebook and become familiar with it as it happens.

00s were shit to be a teen in. Better than now though, at least teenagers could still go to the pub and have a fag and a few pints then. It depends on your attitude, not your birthday. If I were born in 1995 I wouldn't have gotten the chance to experience christian state schooling, so I'm glad for that.
Gavin Edwards
ayy same people forget that economically repressed areas fall behind the rest of the world in terms of culture and shit. I mean, back in chile we were still doing disco in the 90s.
Gavin Baker
I'll be honest I'm the worst of it I was born in 98 I knew what 9/11 was but not affected by it as I was 3 when I learned of it however it affected me a bit since it happened within my lifetime.
>inb4 underage b& Check your math fucktard 2016-1998=18

Web2.0 and smartphones is what really changed things tech-wise, which didn't happen until mid-00s. There was still a big social change after 9/11 though.
Jackson Diaz
Bieber is 2010s, he's not 00s in the slightest. Nobody heard of him until 2010
Kayden Lewis
makes things a lot simpler, doesn't it?
depending on your lifestyle though.
Chase White
To be a 90's kid you have to of been born in the mid to late 80's and reach teenage years near the end of the 90's - so as you actually remember 90's era stuff and lived it. You can't call yourself a 90's kid if you was only 5 by the end of the 90's because you'd be too young to remember anything of that time period or really experience anything of that time period.
Matthew Garcia
1981 is the millennial cut off.
t. 35 year old millennial.
Jayden Taylor

Luke Ramirez
nah, other than a handful of exceptions most 90s kids are poz'd to hell and back. Christ just try going back and watching media aimed at children in teh 90s.
90s kids are today's SJWs and MGTOWS. I have muchn more faith in 00's kids because they are less likely to watch the TV Jews and shop around for their information sources. They also are watching the spectacle millennials are making of themselves and how society is going to shit.
A modern 15 year is 10x more like to call someone a NIGGER FAGGOT in public than 25 year old.
Nathan Long
Sup Forums is considered a social media website. It has no content other than friends posting things, replies and so on.

Social media is retarded, I use my phone for the sole purpose of browsing Sup Forums at work and occasionally getting directions. No one outside of my immediate family knows my number.

I remember when blogs became popular. I couldn't comprehend why would anyone be interested in someone's shitty diary. We had everything: IRC, Quake Arena, porn, napster. Web 2.0 was literally the beginning of the normie era and it's all downhill since then.
Dominic Green
Born in 1990.
Of the 1990s I remember growing up in my blissfully white British northern English city.
Early 2000s is when the wogs started migrating en masse and neighbourhoods that were 100% native in the late 90s were 50%+ immigrant by 2005.
Now the area I grew up is probably close to 80% migrant due to white flight - even my parents moved further out of the city when I hit high school because of this.
2006 is the year that sticks out in my memory as my formative year though.
Colton Perry
Woah this is social media???
Jaxon Wilson
Facebook really went to shit when they accepted users with non-university emails.
In the early years you added your classmates and used it to coordinate study groups. It was literally for study groups and party notifications.
Juan Baker
Nope. Conscious memory does not form until you're 3. Let's say your childhood is from ages 0 - 13. You turned 3 in 98, so you experienced two whole years of the 90s, of which you probably remember nothing. You spent the other 8 years of your childhood in the 2000s.
Ryder Edwards
sorry, bruh, but the cut off for not being born a complete faggot was ~1985

1992 here. I remember how simple everything used to be. Then we all started using AOL Instant Messenger. Then we found the chat rooms where people pretended to be 14 and asked eachother "asl?"
At that point, the brakes on the internet train were dismantled and thrown off the side as we put a uranium reactor in the engine.
Isaiah Jenkins
fuck niggers though
Eli Phillips
Were the 80's any good?
Gabriel Kelly
I was born in '94 and I onoy have fleeting memories of '98-'99 but I moght as well have grown up "in the 90s" if it meant not having computers, cable or internet.
I grew up poor so all that shit was for the rich fags who lived in the Bay or LA Basin, I learned how use floppy disks and write commands on those janky early 90s programs with the green letters, I had a lot of hand me downs including my prized Sony Walkman all the until I got a brand new CD player.
The main difference I believe makes a "90s Kid" is growing in pre-9/11 America, I grew up with the wars and paranoia of terrorists whilst a real 90s kid lived in the peacetime where anything is possible.
If you don't know that feeling then you're not a 90s kid famalams
Daniel Brown
Who 1994 master race here? Who NEET master race here?
Elijah Campbell
hahaha i always got my friends with that one. go into a kids chatroom, post my mates email and say im a 13 year old girl looking for some friends. he would always immediately get dozens of emails and adds.
It's not that the 90's were fun as a kid. It's that the 10s is shit techno-hell for a human hence people electing Trump out of a subconscious desire to get nuked

I'd say the kids born before 93 had the best childhood, we grew up with the internet and the emergent social media. But i wasn't fucking hardwired into our brains like todays children.
And it will get worse..

What answers do you seek that you did not find in the earlier nineties thread that you started? Are you a shill trying to compile quotes for a story about pol Trumpeters living in the past and being wrong about their own memories?
Alexander Stewart
I just realized that maybe the reason people say >I wish it were the 90s again Is because they weren't aware of the terrible shit going on in the world
Jaxson Howard
...
Gavin Richardson
>voting Nixon-Regan hybrid means we want to get nuked Bro, you don't even know.
Nolan Cox
it really was pathetic. People were so naive about the internet back then. I used to spend a lot of time on Habbo Hotel when I was a preteen with no money to spend on MMORPGs yet, and it was ridiculous the kind of shit you used to see people get into when people truly believed they were anonymous.
The best thing I likely ever did was start playing SWG and WoW so that I learned some decent internet culture before everything exploded with Facebook.
Jose Campbell
>Born in '86. >Hate "millennials" and being grouped in with them. >Had awesome internet experiences with AOL. >Had a rad time during the '90s. >Wish I could go back. >Don't listen to dadrock.

Oliver Hughes
Trump will bring back the 90's.
Think about it, people are addicted to distractions like social media, phones, vidya and even websites like this because they are running from a shitty society and economy. When Trump MAGAs the 90's will come back and we will all be playing pokemon and watching dbz again.
R-r-right?
Jack Butler
Born in 1985 here and I have been a teacher since 2011 so I knew your age group as teens. You're fine. I feel like your age group were the last ones that aren't taken over by sjw shit. You knew enough of the world before it went to shit to be ok.
The students I have now with the exception of a few are absolute garbage self hating faggots.
