FUCK THIS GUY FUCK THIS GUY FUCK THIS GUY

FUCK THIS GUY FUCK THIS GUY FUCK THIS GUY

HOLY FUCKING SHIT

FUCK THIS GUY

what did he do?

has there ever been a commissioner in any american sport that's been liked?

He's changing the rule drastically to make it faster and shorter to pander to the ADHD babbys

He is changing a rule that literally has over a century to save
>14 seconds
FUCK HIM IN THE ASS WITH A CACTUS

boreball has been stuck in the past forever

this guy is finally giving the game new life

>Average NFL game is 3 hours 22 minutes
>Average Basketball game is 3 hours and 2 minutes
>Average Baseball game is 3 hours and 9 minutes
>Somehow baseball is the one that takes too long

What rule has he fucked with now

Well this year he took away intentional walks. And next year he is using a robot to call strikes and balls. Is going to put a pitching clock on and take away meeting at the mound

About time. Fuck those old senile umpires

should use robot players as well, reduce labor costs

How about cutting the commercial breaks? Just saying. I know, that they won't do that, because muh money, but when is the point reached, when it becomes too much?

all good except the intentional walk

Whoa let's not get hasty here. We've got to think about the integrity of the game.

Also wants to reduce the pitch count to 2 strikes is an out 3 balls is a walk

The difference is NFL and NBA games are actually usually exciting. Baseball games are mostly just snoozefests that serve as background noise for retirement homes.

there shouldn't be commercials for a pitching change at least, no warmup pitches either
it'd be nice if they shortened all breaks by 15 or 30 seconds at least, but that's not going to happen

quit posting rob

best thing for baseball would be to have bad ass robot fights on the base paths like that one old school Nintendo game

t. ADHD

>no warmup pitches either
Naw, they should still get those, but reduce it to three pitches

>No warmup pitches
Unless you can guarantee that the bull pen mound and the actual field mound are the exact same they still need a few throws off the regular mound to get used to it

nah fuck relievers

>no warmup pitches

You clearly never played baseball

they're warm from the bullpen

>being worse then Selig
ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Why don't managers just signal to the umpire whenever they want their team to be credited with a run? It would sure speed up the game.

Why don't they eliminate the home run walk. It's completely useless and wastes so much time

I would watch the fucking outta that

>Well this year he took away intentional walks.
Dumb idea

>And next year he is using a robot to call strikes and balls. Is going to put a pitching clock on and take away meeting at the mound
GREAT IDEA

>Games with more offense take longer
>Clearly adding offense will make the games shorter

Source?
The average basketball game is definitely not over 3 hours.

Baseball is fucked as long as it continues on without a salary cap, salary floor, and 50/50 revenue sharing. Minor changes like this are entirely insignificant.

He's trying to make baseball faster. Except that what makes it slow are the commercials for every half inning and pitcher changes, and he's not going to touch commercial time in his changes.

Fuck his changes, but you're wrong on everything else m8

>Implying no Salary cap is good.

I'm implying the opposite. The results don't lie. Half the league has no chance whatsoever.

I'm mostly pissed he wanted to put an undeserved runner at 2B during extra innings to speed up the game. Fuck you Manfred. Baseball has been around more than 100 years and we know what we are watching. Either you like baseball or you don't like baseball. You are not gonna change that, only piss off the people who like baseball. Eat a dick Manfred.

What results?

The NFL and NBA both have salary caps

The NBA is a two team league and only one half of the NFL has parity

>What results?
The fact that only 1 team in the top half of payroll has won the WS since the '94 lockout, and with the way things are trending, it'll stay that way. Might as well ditch half the league at this point since they're just AAAA franchises stealing fan's money. Also, you can't compare parity (or lack thereof) among leagues without looking at what contributes to it in each case. In NBA and NFL, individual generation talents contribute a lot more to a team's success than any single individual on an MLB team.

Baseball has the most chance of an underdog winning it all than all of those other sports with salary caps. The results you say do not lie prove that you are false. Take those same results from the NBA or NFL, Baseball does so much better in terms of more teams being able to make it. Which is sad since the NBA has like half the damn league in their "playoffs".

1 player can't make a big difference in baseball (except pitchers who only play 1 in 5 games) like they can in those sports

Simply false. True baseball underdogs will never win it all in the rest of our lifetimes. I've accepted this and you will too eventually.

Not nearly as much as a QB or Lebron or hell even a hot goalie in hockey can. I love baseball in that regard, just not how MLB is run.

teams that suck and don't spend should be relegated TBQH

I agree.

No he isn't

>nba
>exciting
Pick one and just one

...

>NBA
>only 9 different champions
Wtf

That graphic is missing super bowl teams

How new are you?

The fucking Royals won the WS two years ago

Seriously, it's like we got the baseball equivalent of Bernie Sanders running (ruining) MLB

18+

What league are you watching? That couldn't be further from the truth.

Royals were top half of payroll by the end of the season.

It is the truth.

You mean Trump version?

This desu

You say this like all the teams in MLB aren't printing money.

This. It's not like they can't spend, and they won't despite being so shit for so long it's entirely their fault.

>pitcher and batter take a few minutes to get lined up
>pitcher stands around, spits
>batter wiggles bat around, spits
>runner guy tries to run to another base
>pitcher throws ball to base guy even though there was no chance to get that guy out
>more spitting and lining up
>coach comes up to talk to pitcher for a few minutes
>pitcher throws pitch
>ball
>repeat

Explain this fucking shit to me, faglords. Baseball is the shittiest fucking sport ever to exist. The only way it could be fixed is if the pitcher had to throw a pitch every 10-15 seconds.

Literally 35M to play 32 games a year.
This is why.... This same guy will probably opt out of this 200M contract just to get an increase on his yearly anual salary of 38-41M a year.

This is why..
Anymore questions?

Who gives a fuck about the IBB rule, this fuck just gutted any importance in the ASG

You might have tism

>changing the IBB rules when there is a chance that a pitcher might fuck up throwing a ball or might not find the plate and keep throwing shitty pitches
>to save 14 (fourteen) seconds

wew

wew coño
