If an American NBA star like Kevin Durant played divegrass, could anyone stop him? He's like 7 feet tall and can jump higher than anyone playing divegrass right now. Wouldn't he score like 10 goals a game from headers?

His athleticism doesn't translate well to the sport, you need more skill than just being really fast. He has no technical skills whatsoever, he wouldn't last one game.
He needs exactly one technical skill, aka heading the ball.
No, tall people tend to suck at football. See Crouch
If he played football he'd be a goalkeeper, and no one cares about them
Cone on now, one slide tackle and he might end up paralyzed with those glass bones
I don't know if you are trying to be funny or something but I think there's a bit of an athleticism gap between Crouch and Kevin Fucking Durant.
What's athletic about Durant? He does nothing but jump
Soccer is a thinking man's sport, for some reason there aren't many elite black players (memes aside)
Brazil and Argentina are good at it so obviously it's a low IQ sports.
Using your Ameritard logic, Lacina Traore a 6 ft 8 footballer, should be the best player in the world. (Which he is far from)
All countries have dumb and smart people
You are just using ad hominems at this point, why do you even bother making a bait theead if after 2 replies yo get BTFO and start going apeshit?
Yeah but KD's a little bitch. Fuck Kevin Durant.
Is Lacina Traore an NBA star? You are talking apples and oranges.
Basketball players make up for good goalkeepers, that's about it, it's hard to make the transition to a sport that requires you to be skilled with your feet than your hands.
where's this
Basketball athleticism is pretty different and basketball skills do not translate to soccer at all
He'd be a centre back if he can head the ball high and away. Scoring from them requires more strength and ability to aim the header better
Soccer players spend their whole life handling a ball with their feet. Basketball players spend their whole life handling a ball with their hands. Neither translates well to either sport.
Ever seen a pro soccer or pro ball player try the other sport? They look like children.
Nash's got some skill
Maybe, but he'd probably be a meme player.
I know for a fact though that NBA players would dominate handball. It would be unfair.
He has technical skill, it's just not the same set of skills as soccer.
Soccer and basketball are like polar opposite sports.
He could be good at heading yes but if a team have him up front the opposition would easily know that that is his only strength and would just focus on denying crossing positions making him a waste of a position
Nash actually played the sport as a kid
Messi is so fast at dribbling literally no one in the NBA could stop him. He also has the racial advantage on his side.
>for some reason there aren't many elite black players (memes aside)
Because it's played mostly in countries without many blacks (except Brazil, who produce black superstars all the time). We're seeing more and more elite black players as European academies start doing a better job of scouting in Africa, and as more Africans migrate to Europe.
Durant is 6'10". He would be useless at any position except goalkeeper.
>it's americans rate their athletes in other sports because of physical ability that doesn't translate at all
This man who dominate your game though.
Imagine prime Barry on the Pitch.
Probably a pretty decent keeper, but otherwise Arsenal and English soccer in general has proven you need more then being fast and black
What about Pogba, Griezmann, and Lukakku?
another day another thread by an american who doesn't understand that football has a lot of professional players who are a beanpole or can lift a car but are still utter shit compared to CL-level players
Crouch is a severely underrated lad.
I think everyone understands, it's just thinly-veiled Sup Forums shitposting at this point. Kind of like half the threads on this board.
