I know you're trolling but there's one part of your post where you actually seem serious, which is Iberia being seen as a liability.
The first thing that would happen would be a Portugal/Spain-Italian alliance, because Milan isn't in charge of the country, Rome is. And without the EU, the Spaniards would easily take back Gibraltar within a couple years of preparing by forcing Portugal to remain neutral.
After that, Spain and Italy would greatly benefit from their position of increased relative power within Europe. Most of (but not all) Eastern Europe and the UK would eventually be the main losers from a EU dissolution.
