God, do I love the 240. My gloves STILL smell to this day.

Still in? Coasties get a lot of shit but mad respect for all of them out dealing with these storms.

i want an inbred nazi's take on grizzly steepe ??????????

US/ARNG/11B

Fuck Irma, just got word.

Army Reserve ossifer.

It sucks. I wish I would've enlisted.

I'm about to get a degree in International Relations. Thinking about joining and maybe going into intel. Any suggestions?

People who join the military are faggots and losers.

You abroad ATM?

>Uniformed service
i think you mean retards without any brains or real world skills

go get yelled at somewhere else faggot

US/AF/11F

Neat

Yeah. I got denied for TD in Houston though. I was "needed" in other resource capacities...

exactly, a bunch of low iq morons.

They think being in iraq or Afghanistan is "serving" their country.

Well this faggot loser spreads the great gospel of BRRRRT all over the world. Get fukt idiot.

Air Force is the best for intel. It's the best pipeline to the NSA/CIA/DIA/contractor. I'm not biased I say this as Army.

Also International Relations is fun and you would probably get a good grade, but a degree in Math or Comp Sci would be a better door opener.

I have buddies who swear by the M2 and the Mk19, but honestly, I think that's just overcompensation. 240Bros 4 lyfe.

I think this is the latest evolution of the jimmy-rustle.

Hey, practice OPSEC asshole

Nah, Alabama, getting activated for this shit.

US/NAVY/715X

Yeah, talk to a recruiter. Not even sarcastic. They could tell you where your skills apply. They teach you though. Don't need a degree for an enlisted job.

US/ARMY VET/14G

You all failed your OPSEC training didn't you?

Seconded. My degrees are in economics and statistics, but my background as Army Infantry held me back. At least double major in something quanty if you can, and head to the Air Force

US/AF/11FX

zero opsec violations so far guy. Oozlefinch wants to talk down to us.

I will not be lectured by fucking artillery.
RLTW.

US/AF/3D1x1

Low iq?
Mfw there are people who literally put satellites up in the services

Sure did

US/Chairforce/2a654 fuel systems

anyone who joins the military is an idiot.

Thanks user, I really appreciate the advice. I wanted to be infantry when I left high school (I did a whole bunch of running, lifting and memorized countless cadences lol), but my parents weren't having it until I finished college, which I guess was a good call on their part. A partof me still wants to be infantry.

You right.

11fx or 11gx?

Kek

...

I'm sure you're shit hard at call of duty, so I guess we're probably peers since I'm only a third generation Ranger going all the way back to Merrill's Marauders.

College is definitely a good call, but there's some value in being a knucklehead trigger puller for a few years while you're still young. You'll have fun and get the GI bill, so you can then go bang college girls eventually.

But since you're already there, might as well put your degree to use. Use your education and related skills to rise above your enlisted peers.

Don't become an officer. I wish I would've enlisted. I hate it.

lmao, all of the sudden everybody is talking about their imaginary college experiences

be real faggots, you are in the army because you could barely finish school, it was either that or mcdonalds

Without artillery your ass is grass
Report for training tomorrow to retake the training

US/USMC/MOS 0317

This. So many college girls with daddy issues need help with their anatomy project when they learn you are an expert machine gunner and got paid to jump out of airplanes.
RLTW

I work as a DA civilian at a library. Everyone whose ever cleared at a post knows the library is one of the places you have to clear with.
So I had this real goober e-1 come in with a specialist one day. I ask whats up, specialist says the e-1 has to clear. I wonder why he couldn't do it himself and then I see its Admin discharge and it all made sense.

Had a specialist and pfc come in once, two females, both Admin discharge. Kinda wondered why, didn't find out.

There are tons of officers on post, they actually outnumber enlisted here I think, or its at least a very even split. I prefer working with the enlisted for the most part, some officers (and especially their wives) are pretty stuck up.

>Trying this hard

US/RA/13J

US/ARMY/13B (artillery)

Best worst time in my life id do it all over again....

Have literally died more on field exercises because of some mongoloid artillery strike and a cross-eyed FO than from any other cause. I've watched OCs literally laugh at the shitty work your meme MOS does.
RLTW

Thanks man, I'll definitely take it into account when enlisting.

Did you enjoy fort sill?

i might be trying hard
but i'm definitely not wrong

go officer army, make sure you pass ranger school and get airborne, otehrwise your life is meaningless

LS2 (SS), USN

Idk, I didn't make it through EOD and I'm still serving happily.

But always shoot for the stars.

...

even if you create another thread
you're still a retard without any brains or real world skills
you are just a mcdonalds employee with a gun

Bought that from ASMDSS, good quality physical meme

...

Who here ready to kill some norks??

yes i got one too...love that thing.

Naval Aviator

US Army/46Q/MEB-retard
Being a civilian is pretty neat.

what the fuck does that mean?

you aren't airborne, so kill yourself

how the fuck does a public affairs NCO get MEB?

Are you retarded and can't walk/run?

There has been 0 casualties during the wars so i doubt you were hit by anything

If you weren't a fuck-up and have a 3.2 GPA or better then go for OCS. It's better to be an officer than enlisted and it's better to be an officer in Intel than enlisted in it, in terms of actually doing your job. I believe user may be correct about USAF being better for intel and they may also allow you to choose your branch on your contract, you just have to complete the training to get it. If you go Army, you'd still have a chance but it requires you to be prepared for OCS and get high on the OML to pick Intel.

Men in uniform are my god tier fetish.

USAF 2a735 reporting in

You right. I have the opportunity to get wings in my current job, but it's unlikely. We'll see.

tits or gtfo

>SHARP

I wasn't hit by shit, just fucked up feet.

LOL

>Implying i have tits

Us army/11B/Scout platoon RTO

I hated it... I loved benning but ended up in hood and that's when life cruelly sucked

Shepperd, right?

At least you didn't get caught up in that prostitution sting

USN/HT2

Nope tech was at NAS pensacola. i'm at an f35 base right now

>Implying you aren't fat

Lotta people with an undergrad do their 4 and then postgrad on the GI Bill.

50> 240b

Fresh meme

Lol yeah the SHARP rep for 3 corps was pimping them out lol. Sadly my battalion got hemmed up few times and when I got chaptered they were under investigation

Ok, you got me.

But if i'm gonna send tits, i need to see some of what I like.

I have wickr and kik

I am Navy intel at a 3 letter agency and agree. Air Force is best because they use thier people correctly based on skills, and they dont always uproot you to send you somewhere else just because.

US/Navy/Nuke

Lol wut? Is that an officer desig? Not a rate or NEC

US army national guard/25u/ comms

More specifically ETN

Vehicle mounted, for sure... But as infantry I prefer something I can carry by myself, without needing a tripod or a head space and timing gauge some retard private always seems to lose.

UK/RAF/Fg(WSO)

A few questions about enlisting:

1) What's the oldest age you can do it?
2) Will the fact that I'm a recovering alcoholic (with 5 years sober) prevent me from enlisting?
3) Will the fact that 8 years ago I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder prevent me from enlisting?

Also, same questions, but what about for Officers? I have a college degree.

US/RA/152H

Fuck all y'all.

35
No but don't mention it
Yes it will don't mention it and don't bring it up

34? I think. Call a recruiter.
No.
Lie about it. That's what I did. Never came up and now I get service connected disability payments for it.

1. Depends but every branch is in the thirties. Going in as enlisted gets you the higher max number. You can get waivers for age, it's possible at least.
2. You'd probably be okay, understand that if you fall off the wagon you can wind up out and in a worse situation than you are now.
3. That would disqualify you.
