>King Crimson - Red (10/10)
>Slint - Slint (6.5/10)

Is....is this all KPOP?

according to my last.fm

nothing I'd really listen. Might be good though.

hi pop
you are truly a strange fellow

Thanks for the rec man, Not a big fan of Slint?

>Rec
Primus - Frizzle Fry
Sebadoh - Bakesale

You are a strange one pop, but i respect you. You're the only tripfag i don't mind.

slint's a total hit-or-miss type deal for me. some of their songs have some great progression and guitar work but some of their songs are just emo trash in disguise

...

Jon Hopkins is cool.

By emo do you mean angsty?

yes it is
i've been having a kpop only week

haven't listened to that Big Thief yet, whats it like?

What did you think about American Waters? That's one of my fav albums.
I puked. Nice shitaste.
Pretty good.

It's much more folk-y, and it's much more restrained, especially in it's instrumentation which is flat out boring in comparison to Masterpiece. It's not awful, but I really don't like it in comparison to their debut album.

Burtul - Bottom Astral
Mike Patton - Mondo Cane
Rage Against the Machine - self-titled
Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

Can somebody enlighten me as to why people prefer Immunity to Insides? Honest question.

i've been a bit of a pleb lately about listening to full albums but this is close enough
i've never listened to kpop
is it worth checking out?
julien's pretty fuckign good eh

fuck
at least i got dubs

Yeah, I really enjoy Sprained Ankle my only critisismis that her singing sounds generic sometimes.

Angry. Nice Brutalizer, that album's damn fun.
Shy as fuck.

*Criticism

Behold my plebianism

JUMP SO HIIIGH DRESSED IN WHIIITE
I'D WRITE.YOU.LETTERS BUT IM JUST TOO SHYYYYY

I just listened to Silver Jews for the first time today, great album

eh, windir's great, batushka's lovely no matter what /metal/ says (and really great live), and the satanist's final track is absolutely killer

>Tiger Trap
I mean, that's not bad, I quite like that band, but I think you replied to the wrong guy.

>the satanist's final track is absolutely killer
Yeah, highlight of the album for me as well. Though I do enjoy the rest of it as easy listening, especially in the background while I'm doing something else, especially the title track. Easily my least favorite album out of those three though.

desu i don't enjoy music the same way i did before anymore. The more i listen to, the more i recognize sounds and ideas. As a consequence i compare artists to others who did it better.

I've been listening to a lot of noisy jangle pop recently.
recc'ing Seamonsters and 14 Iced Bears if you're into that. Windy & Carl is always beautiful

The Ascension is God-tier
Boces is my favorite album
I like everything on here except the Joanna Newsom because I haven't heard it yet.
MotFD is cool
I've been meaning to check out Julia Holter. The RYM genre tags on Tragedy intrigue me
+Yerself is Steam

It was decent, IMO. This was only my second listen, though.

...

What'd you think of First Utterance?

I fell in love with it immediately tbqf. So many cool ideas presented (use of harmonics, cluster chords, layering of guitar parts like an orchestra) and the last track sounds like shoegaze made in 1981.

Yeah man, go check out Tragedy. I wish I had earlier, on my third listen already. And listen to milk-eyed mender too.

>tripfag

it's wild stuff man, I'd recommend it.

I think I know why I've been feeling melancholic for the past while, now.

I recognized like 10 albums so far. fug.

>MotFD is cool
Only listened to it once so far and I enjoyed it a lot.

Have been in for quite a memery lately.

Thoughts on Dear?

I liked it. Most of the album is dark-ish noise/ambient metal, if you're into that sort of thing, but there's some hype parts.
