Louisiana thread

We're not actually being buttfucked by a hurricane for once, so that's nice.

Floridian reporting in. On the way to you right now Loui.. Trying to dodge Irma last minute

good luck man, do y'all do contraflow for evacuations?

Have they upped the Causeway toll to $5, yet?

Lafayette here. fuck I'm glad, getting pretty god damn tired of rain...I'm from Florida screw the whole state...

Hammond here, anyone in the area?

>2017
>taking the Causeway
>not going towards Slidell or taking 55

Where I live that would add at least an hour.

When they start a toll on the causeway I used work in New Orleans 2 years ago had take the causeway never had to pay a toll

but at least its not the causeway

The toll is only southbound. There's no toll leaving the city, so I don't see why people still live there.

>When they start a toll on the causeway
1956

Oh okay. Miss living out there bad lived on Morrison in Hammond tommys on Thomas was the shit

Did you go to Southeastern by any chance?

Ayyyyyyyyyy

I live in Hammond now, and tbh, the place has gone downhill. The food is extremely hit or miss in quality, and it takes a fucking life time to actually get your order.

How the fuck did you guys beat out Texas for fattest state?

I realize you're mostly swamp niggers, but god damn...

For some reason people down here like Cajun food. A lot.

Sulphur-fag here. Can we just get one good hurricane to wipe this shit hole state off of the map?

>swamp niggers

black people don't live in the swamps

Nah man rent is cheap as fuck I worked in denham springs.
that's super lame man they had some the best calzones and pizza ever

Like it even matters. I'm waiting to get flooded out by a normal storm again like last year, then I'm kissing this sinking ship goodbye. Maybe move to colorado

Former SELUfag here

You have never been to la fourche terrabone. parish then

no i haven't, i stick to what little civilization there is here

Got my Masters there. Really miss it, to be honest.
Not Hammond, though. So boring, there's nothing to do.

Better than going to Tulane and spending more time in the city than in class lol

I like Hammond. Close to Covington, NOLA, and Baton Rouge to do day or night trips to any of them without having to actually live in them.

Anything is better than fucking Nawlins. I'm not much of a city person to begin with, but I can't stand that place.

And I used to live just outside Detroit.

Dunno why man. I've lived all over the state, and, honestly, new Orleans is the only place who's people were good to me. The city itself is pretty dirty, but almost everything else is damn good

I live in Lafayette now never seen so many people so nice and genuine

>for once
nigga you don't even get hurricanes, try getting hit by 3 in a row
>meanwhile texans put ducktape on their windows instead of plywood

Lafayette here, too. I'm ready for a drought. Fuck all this rain madness.

Yeah I did. Early 90s. Used to drink across campus at a place called "The Beach".

Bossier city fag here, anyone else?

Hell yea man I hear ya I live near youngsville on god aweful verot

Me too. Louisiana sucks. I'm looking at houses right now. Out of state, houses.

I'm across the river in Ratchet City.
You blow dro?

It's like fucking Dodge City down there everyday now.
