While I def agree it doesn't sound "dated" e.g. like a lot of stuff from the 80's, most late 60's folk isn't timeless as in 'sounds like it could've been made yesterday'.
IMO it lyrically and musically encapsulates that period too well to be timeless as defined above but it certainly is timeless in the sense that it still holds merit.

Pic related is my vote for a truly timeless album. It could've been played a 100 years ago or it could be played tomorrow without being linked to any special musical period. It's also free of (over)production while still sounding fresh enough to not be mistaken for traditional music. However, it is very geographically specific but in terms of time you can't pinpoint it.
