Christian Perry
Your parents let you browse Sup Forums, and then punishes you for masturbation?
Sounds like my goodly Christian upbringing. I was a huge faggot and hated myself.
You sound like me. I hate you.
Faggot.

Take age into account
The younger a person is, the smaller their world view is. This effects two things in regards to the current plan: How small a change can upset them, and how long they will be upset by that change
As a baby or toddler or whatever, their entire life and worldview is essentially the hour/minute/whatever that's currently occurring. Might be evolutionary, like a way to ensure reasonable development regardless of any large changes occurring in this period
From, say, toddler age towards puberty, their "personal world" starts to get bigger and bigger. Whereas a toddler could, say, be extremely upset by the loss of a sweet or something, but quickly forget why it was upset. I've a friend who's toddler was promised Ice Cream, didn't get it, had the wherewithal to understand he wasn't getting it, got upset for all of 10 seconds and just moved on
From roughly the development of proper awareness, memory and so on, it takes more to upset a person, but they stay upset for longer, near as I can tell. From being upset by an unexpected movement for seconds, to being upset by not getting a toy they want for minutes/hours, to losing a pet and being upset for days, to being upset by losing a girl/boyfriend for a week or so. It goes on and on, with some differences between individuals. But a constant is that as they age and their "personal world" gets larger, it takes more relatively important events to effect them emotionally, but they remain effect for longer as a result

Here is what do: >be nice to your sister for the next 9 years >take her out for prom >fuck her and impregnate her >as soon as the pee stick turns blue kill yourself but leave her a shoe box full of monopoly money to take care of your fucked up kid >in the mean time leave the kitten out of it Good luck!

Just bring the cat back to the shelter, or give it away to another home.
