is this a meme? i'm an oldfag, who listened to unwound in the late 90s, and i hate this album.
justin's lyrics are fucking awful, and his "treated" singing voice also blows, he is so flat and off key. he actually sounds less professional here than on any of his early albums. plus i will always love sara's drums, but the reverb of the room she is playing in also blows.

yeah the sound is very different from the rest of their output. even the previous album. theyre going for something a bit more droney/dreamy but i think it works, personally.
