Honestly, I wish more Finno-Ugric states existed in Europe. Too bad only you, Eestis, and Magyars survived from the assimilation by S*avs. That being said, ethnicities like Maris or Udmurts might have been difficult to avoid ending up absorbed into Russia due to their geographical distances from other European cultures but I think Karelia could have been a country on its own if they hadn't been divided by the Swedes and the Russians and that'd be cool.
