Basically, it was a TV Duell yesterday, where both candidates talked. At one point, the brought up Hofers Trip to Jerusalem 2 years ago, where according to him, a woman got shot 10 meters next to him. The ORF went full fucking damage control, took a trip to jerusalem to ask a police officer about the incident. Police said, that shit never happened and they tried their hardest to debunk Hofer, who responded with that he has pictures of the Event. After the duel, multiple articles were dugged up to prove the incident was real and not made up. The ORF and the left went full damage control and flipped the fuck out.

Tbh I always disliked the FPÖ and it's opposition party stance. Always criticising but never any ideas for realistic solution. Alot of populism and appeals to emotions of the voter, not to mention "hurr-durr the EU is bad".
Sadly since the immigration crisis, it would appear that they are now the most sensible party, simply because they are against open borders to primitive cultures invading this great nation.

I grew up with alot of kids from real "Nazis". Meaning grandsons of ex-KZ-managers and other people who greatly benefited from Arisierung. Literally. My American cousin came to stay with my family when I was a boy and she is a orchestra director. She used to take walks through the park at 4 in morning alone, "to find inspiration" every single night. Nothing ever happened to her.
Then when I got a bit older the first generation of Yugoslav kids (war-refugees) grew up and things were a bit fishy, but nothing compared to what happened during the late 90s Turkish population boom.
Nowadays, since the last 5 years there are more and more daily news about stabbings, gang beatings, mass brawls, rapes, ATM-theft, muggings etc.
This is unheard of in Vienna. My "so progressive" sister bought a tazer and a pepper spray, despite thinking that "Islam is not the problem".
