Food thread

>Food thread.

Post a picture of a popular local food, and we'll guess where you are from.

Cornwall.

I'm from London so I can't participate since we have no local food and just steal everyone else's and stick a fat inflated price on it.

Filename.png you are not a smart man

People usually only whip these out on special occassions, but you won't find a better variant of this food anywhere else. Watermark kinda gives it away though, so if you want a challenge try not to look at the lower right corner.

I'll accept either answer, but the UP is correct. Cornish miners introduced it in the 1800s and it has become a staple to the locals.

What's the best pasty place in the UP in your opinion? Best I've found is lawry's

Like fuck am I going to Barnes ever. I'm poor and live in Elephant & Castle, as you know.

My grandma makes really good ones, I haven't found any local places that make better ones.

However, the best pasty I ever had was from The Cornish Bakery in Bath, UK. might know what I'm talking about.
