At the beginning of the tour, yeah, except he doesn't have as much power in his voice as he did 15 years ago. But right now, he's back to just shouting his vocals again and he's hitting a lot of bum notes.
Not to mention he's tuned down several Oasis songs and still isn't coming close to singing the relatively higher notes. To be quite honest he hasn't been holding out notes of lyrics or singing all the different parts of the melody like he used to since '97.

Great vocal tone but he never really tried to be a good singer. They were mostly a shit live proposition. He's aware of this. For all his bravado, he's always been keenly aware that his brother wrote all the tunes and was deeply insecure about this - even though the band would never have been what it was without him.
So he said, "Fook it. I'll just be Johnny Rotten for them and aw, la." Decided to put on a different kind of show. The world needs these kinds of rock stars, too.
