Japanese scientists are already able to cure with endogenous Stem Cells from the spinal chord knee and joint ailments to a 100 % functionality. It's possible create different kind of organic tissue (which leads to new organs), start cloning people, bring extincted animals back, make genetic copys of us and also create chimeras (i get a boner only by thinking of it). The first real homunculi could be born out of stem cell research. Why is the fucking church so against it? Maybe it is the way it meant to be for us! Maybe it is what we have to do, to become a more archtype complete being.

The church doesn't really have anything against Stem Cell research/use, the issue is with harvesting it from fetuses and the subtle encouraging of abortion for said harvesting. You can get stem cells from other places and in other ways. Study genetics and you'll find out it's not possible to go as far as you want, nor is embryonic stem cell therapy a viable option.
There are only so many functional pre-programmed variations that can exist in humans. We must remain within those variations or the individual becomes disabled or dies.
Embryonic stem cells are coded for the baby, the individual incubating human, they belong to. One cannot be a genetic vampire and absorb others genes to cure their diseases. We are not designed to do that.
