i use my frying pan

PIA. only like 3 dollars a month if you get a year subscription and you can put it on 5 devices. been using it for years, highly recommend it

tunnelbear any good?

Been looking into that aswell, seems a bit fishy somehow.

Use tor as a vpn. It works the best but is very slow

I've heard a lot of good shit about IPvanish
no idea how legit it is though

PIA

Been using them for just over 2 years now.

Bump because I am also curious

Private internet access.

Second this. Decent customer support, too. Seem to have a solid 'no log' policy, have never received a hate letter for downloads while connected to them. I recommend using a client such as Viscosity to connect to them though. Their own client is a little janky on some Win10 installs.

I don't really need it for anything other than torrenting American movies and shows

they have clients for linux, windows, mac, android and i assume ios.

I use them for my torrent box so the ISP cant see what I'm doing.

Why should i get one

Thinking about getting nord. But yea what are the real world benefits of a vpn?

stops people (mostly your ISP) from seeing what you do online and allows you through to other countries internet like china. basically it aint no ones buisness what you do on the internet and you shouldnt just let them see

check'd

Just use peerblock for torrenting

Peace of mind. Little to no prying eyes watching your every move and being prepared for the dark internet days to come.

Cool. I'll be getting nord this month

I don't think your ISP really cares as long as you aren't using a ton of bandwidth.

I would suggest peerblock as well for http protection

Explain peer blockers pls

They have a website that will explain all the uses

>Your ISP doesn't care about analyzing the behavior of their costumers and selling the info to advertisement companies and governments.
>sincerely, not FBI.

Most dont work on Sup Forums or get you banned lol

last one i used got me banned for "using tor relay exit node" or something like that

Same. I have a real problem with this. "Anonymous" my ass...

Think again, and then go read some tech sites to see just how much your ISP actually DOES care. Shithole sites like Facebook are not the only entities interested in obtaining every last scrap of information about you, your habits, your interests, your schedule, etc. And that's not even mentioning what they will do on the behalf of entities such as RIAA or MIAA. Your ISP is not some benevolent inert pipe that keeps itself deliberately unaware of what its customers are doing.

Nordvpn. I think 6 devices and $80 for 2 years

I've heard nordvpn is the best. You agree?

Sup Forums is pretty much a government ran website at this point, where swearing and gore is allowed , but that aint real freedom

AirVPN. Run by hacktivists. Client is easy. Network is fast, no logs, high level of encryption and recommended by privacytools.io

7 euro a month?i dont have that NEET cash :(

NordVPN. Have a 2 year deal for 79 bucks now. Good support and clients for everything except Linux. I just use openVPN on my Linux box. Easy and decent P2P speeds

Peerblock/Peerguardian and it's lists are completely useless. Even iblocklist has setup a vpn service.

Is that a vpn or something else?

Dooooodes!
Raspberry pi with WiFi.
Script to randomise Mac every 29 minutes. Install in bedside lamp of every motel ever visited... SSH gotten tor service... Uses the first 30 minutes of free WiFi forever (tracked by Mac) runs openvpn. Slow. But about as user as possible.

I use Express VPN. I think it works, I hope it works... Anyone have feedback?

Idk if it's worse for me or for you that I don't understand anything you just posted.

I am jealous though.. I think..

Dude what the fuck are you talking about?

https:
that's all you need to know

What the fuck? Get out of here you stupid fucking 12 year old.
Just figure out how to bypass your school's filter?
Fucking little shit.

Being that retarded

send a 128bit key that only you and the server you are connecting to can unlock, and nobody in between.

KYS you fucking idiot, that isn't the point. Holly shit. You have no idea what you are talking about either.
GTFO

>being this mad because I'm right

...

tunnelbear for free ultra vpn, been using it for years

>using AOL as a vpn

did you even read op's post you fucking faggot

Tunnelbear keeps logs and won't let you torrent.

yes, and all the other shit posts after it. point?

I also use nordvpn it's pretty slow though

PIA is good. Can be a bit slow sometimes plus somehow it uninstalled itself from my computer but I do like how you can pay with a gift card. I've heard that IP Vanish and Tor Guard are good.

ISPs recently passed laws to sell your internet data, mostly for advertising. But that is just the start and will push for more in the future if they can profit off you.

Any good VPN's that don't log all your shit?

I used Trust.Zone for a year. Now I use Mullvad. With Mullvad you can pay with bitcoin and you don't have a username or provide your email. All you get is a long number as your account number.

I'm not a terrorist but I do watch a lot of porn and I torrent shit. Should I get a vpn?

perfect-privacy com
best in class so far, not cheap but definitely worth it

check for yourself:

>I'm not a terrorist but I do watch a lot of porn and I torrent shit. Should I get a vpn?
>I torrent shit
>I torrent shit
>I torrent shit

whaddyathink???

I use Betternet for getting around filters and whatnot at college and gov't buildings. Tor or random internet connections for the stuff I care to hide depending on the level of concern

Fair enough. Gonna try out PIA

t. public tracker pleb
Not a single letter here.

Pia's site looks fishy as fuck though. Looks like one of those '07 scam sites.

fbi.gov:8080

>t. public tracker pleb
>Not a single letter here.

"what is Sandvine for 400 and Deep Packet Inspection for 800 please"
look it up numbnut

"what is private trackers for 9001 plz"

complete newb here

do vpns actually work? isp cant still see?

never used one before myself, just out of interest

yes, they do work, because VPNs utilize a legal loophole, for one you come out via a different country's gateway, not within your own country, which makes it a different legal jurisdiction.
then the connection is encrypted (good ones have at least 256 bit wide encryption)
and last, and that's your actual 'defense' - you're one of many thousands coming out the same gateway which has the same exit IP , so a LEO or the MAFIAA can't fully distinguish which packets are YOURS and which aren't - which is a requirement to burn your ass in front of a judge.

any good free ones?

or do the ones that actually work have to be payed for?

if there were good free ones, nobody would pay for them, would they? like, are there any good free hookers where you live?

Google "TLS SNI"

i get your point, but there is good free antivirus : /

>any good free ones?
ever went to a commercial restaurant and eaten for free a full course meal?
didn't think so.
server-rental and bandwidth-capacity cost money. There are some free ones, but they are marketing your ass away, which doesn't pay much (and is shifty in terms of privacy) ergo their capacities are on the lower end of the pole.

I run perfect-privacy since a few years (after the Pirate Bay's VPN went belly up - yes I'm that old) never had any issues, they even run their own software that ensure that no DNS or IPv6 leaks are happening, and if your connection crashes, it prevents that win10 is switching to your real ISP connection and rats your out to the LEO's and MAFIAA

>or do the ones that actually work have to be payed for?

I do not use any VPN nor proxy, and i download everything i want like pirate games, movies, music, and no one can do anything because México.

>i get your point, but there is good free antivirus
>ever went to a commercial restaurant and eaten for free a full course meal?
>didn't think so.

>because México.
with THAT GINI index - I'm not surprised, Mexico.....

I'm using CryptoStorm since about a year and till now I'm happy.

Bitdefender

Yeah, living in a 3rd world country have some advantages ;)

Read this
Not all vpns are what they claim to be thatoneprivacysite.net/vpn-comparison-chart/

Seems to be the less anonymous way to go on internet

Translation: use a simple, portable (self made) computer called a raspberry pi. Make it say it's a different device every 29 minutes (spoof your MAC every 29 minutes). Connect your pc up to the raspberry pi while that runs on the wifi. You can use free hotel wifi forever and thus they get blamed for your downloading instead of you.

how to change ip for free ? i dont give a fuck about being tracked

PIA used to be great. now they sell your info, and you cant watch USA netflix on it. I use Nordvpn. at least it works.

get Nord. I use it. it works fine.

Ohh we can tell

Perfect Privacy

Only other legit option is AirVPN

Also If your neighbor has xfinity then you can use your free hour of wifi as a guest but keep spoofing it so infinite free WiFi. Although not sure if that's not gonna get you caught

Look up piggybacking
enjoy your time in federal prison

>Ohh we can tell
prove it!
put your money where you mouth is, numb-nut

i use nord vpn its 79 every two yeas and i haven't had any issues with it plus the amount of servers on it is amazing

He ain't wrong

softether. free, pretty shit. but it's free

Unless you are a criminal or so, what's the point of using it?

Don't want to get cavity searched every day? What are you, a fucking terrorist?

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nothing_to_hide_argument

It's fishy only because we know where you had your fingers, user. Now go clean up and download the Epic privacy browser while you search for a VPN.
Unless you're a CIA nigger.
In that case, fuck off.

Been using IPVanish, both for general purposes and torrents.

Tor for computer. Onavo vpn on phone if I just need to bypass restrictions anywhere
