Come As You Are, don't be contrarian.

Wrong. It's Drain You.
Undisputed GOAT song. OF ALL TIME.

considering that endless, nameless is the only song that isn't hot garbage yeah

Up the Hill Backwards and Ashes to Ashes are too close
Lithium, right?

Something in the Way is the best track on Nevermind though.

...

Rape me

Disorder is the only good song on Unknown Pleasures

Shadowplay? How can you not like shadowplay?

...

Sorry OP, but this is it. Breed is a close second, then Come As You Are.

Thank you user. Good to see someone else with some sense.
The fact that we're all arguing over the best song goes to show how fucking great of an album it is anyway. Jesus Christ I love Nevermind with a fiery passion. Great fuckin' album.

SHE SETS ME ON FIRE
SHE SETS ME ON FIRE

Bird on the Wire

She's Electric

FOR WHOM THE BEEELL TOOOOOLLS
TIME MARCHES ON on on on

Not obvious at all, plus fade to black is one of the greatest metal songs ever written.

Up The Hill Backwards edges out victory, though. The guitar, the chorus, the drums... So good.
It's a goddamn shame the only time it was performed live was on the Glass Spider tour.

>not the overlooked gem On a Plain
LOVE MYSELF BETTER THAN YOU

Is it Nosferatu Man?

Some Might Say is one of the most powerful, life-affirming songs in rock history.

For Diner...

Creeping Death

I know you're probably kidding but that's unironically one of my favorites from the album. I don't get the hate.

Not entirely kidding. It's one of my favorites for sure and think it's massively underrated along with Digsy's Dinner. Although I prefer She's Electric. I guess my point is that I don't think What's the Story is an album where it's easy to pick the best track.

only correct answer itt

Smells Like Teen Spirit?

...

best not worst

its never meant right

good morning, captain ofcourse

for dinner... is the worst track on the album don't kid yourself

polly...

This

Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space

great song, one of my favourite opening track for sure

I think it's never meant.

Worst is Come As You Are.

None of these are correct

Still one of the best finishers of 90s pop albums

>Obviously
The Butcher

I can't get over the fact that he rhymes plain with complain. It's so jarring because it's essentially rhyming plain with plain. Ruins the track for me.

fhtagn

I know you can do this, Sup Forums...

Am I Wry? No

clearly good morning captain

Sons of the silent age

>don't be contrarian
If we were doing that then SLTS would be what we picked.

I'm just curious

AND AS HE FACED THE SUN HE CAST NO SHADOW

You sir are correct.

It's 3 of them but oh well.

T/T though

A bit of a sticking point yes, but I never get sick of it and it's one of the few songs I sing along to.

Honey Bucket

even though track is called On a Plain he's actually saying I'm on a plane

Fuck That, Something in The Way Hands Down Best Song on that album

2000 Light Years from Home

Lucky Man was on the radio when I was doing my daily shopping at the supermarket a couple of weeks ago. I made a cute girl smile by humming along to the "OH MY MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIND" bit towards the end a bit too loudly. It was nice.
The Verve's only good shit was their early neo-psych material though.

Their s/t EP and first two albums are 10/10 imo

Moss Garden?
You're probably going for Good Morning Captain but I'd pick Washer

jesus christ what an epic cringe

Unironically this. It was one of the songs(besides smts) that introduced me to Nirvana, and holy shit is it a masterpiece. I still hum it every now and than. The live version is also amazing with the scream near the end cause Kurt's guitar broke.
