Listen to the rest of Kanye's discography if you haven't already.

I've heard the rest of the Kanye albums, love College Dropout, would have been in my top 100 but I limited it to 1 per artist.

R.A. The Rugged Man - Legends Never Die

T2 - It'll all work out in boomland
Electric Wizard - Dopethrone
Macha - See it another way
I don't really listen to hip hop at all, so I don't have much to base a rec off, but because you like Bitches Brew, maybe some more fusion, like Herbie Hancock's Headhunters or Soft Machine's third.

take a look at my entry level mu drone taste...

you listened to Bish Bosch? you could probably dig if you're into Trout Mask

R O L L

D A L E = 01

I feel stupid

WhatSaid, you might like Scott walker's later works

The Streets - Original Pirate Material

have you listened to digable planets?

already listened to them

Haven't listened to new albums in a while. Mostly Souvlaki, actually. Listening to Eureka by Kinoko Teikoku right now.
Pigment - Ecstasy of St. Theresa
Septrembre et ses Dernieres Pensees - Les Discrets
I'd be surprised if you hadn't listened to it, but Liumin?

>Mother 2 OST

I like you OP, you're a good egg.

one of my favorite games and game soundtracks for sure, was lucky enough to get it on vinyl when it got pressed

ayyyyy saturation
this is a very good list you have good taste my friend. from what I see on the list you seem to like some artsy ass rock so I'd recommend Tool - Lateralus

Lantlos - Melting Sun

worst chart itt. i feel sorry for you, op. don't let a website dictate your music taste.

hope you all had a good summer. I did.

Good Time OST already a top 10? only heard it once so far and it's definitely good but I can't imagine it growing past the rest of his oeuvre. really looking forward to seeing the film though.

check out Aaron Dilloway's solo stuff.

...

Not listened to The Cold Vein myself, but if it's top four and you particually liked the production maybe it'd be worth giving El-P's solo stuff a work since he did the production on The Cold Vein, and on his stuff too.
Maybe give Tical by Method Man a look too.

pixies - doolittle

Nice taste, sir, good to see the best hip-hop album of all time in your Top 4
Andy Latimer is the best prog-rock guitarist of all time.

Any good recs for me?

...

Incubus - SCIENCE

I love how everyone in this thread is always like "don't leech, give people recs!" You know what you should be encouraging instead? You should be encouraging people to put the fucking names of albums and artists on the side of their chart in their chart picture. You realize that there's 50-100 fucking albums on every single chart in these threads which you could be checking out? That's what I use these threads for. Most of the music I download comes from charts that look like they have a lot of interesting stuff on them. People berate the poor chart spammer, who gives us so many charts with amazing obscure albums on them, and you idiots don't even realize that that is the greatest source of album discovery in this whole thread. You think I give a shit about all these people with Kanye and ITAOTS in their top 10? I do not. I care about interesting charts.

give recs

Dozer - In the Wake of the Comet
of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?
Micachu and The Shapes - Jewelry
Come and See
Deltron 3030

>poor chart spammer

lol u are the chart spammer

this, honestly

i really hope you don't actually wear that shirt
do you like rowland s howard?

there are no names in your chart either retard

i count 68, but good job missing the joke either way

Lots of good shit. The Clash - London Calling
Afrika Bombaataa - Looking for the Perfect Beat
Cat Power - Moon Pix
+Elliott Smith, Vangelis, Pink Floyd.
Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygen
I do wish more people included names on their charts. However, some albums make this troublesome because the right information isn't available on Topsters2.

Would you re-upload your chart with the names on the side?

You could always ask you autist.

to be fair, while I admit to liking quite a bit of Sup Forumscore, I think it just happened to end up that most of the Sup Forumscore albums are at the top and are the first ones people notice. my chart's not in order, I just put whatever comes to mind first, and usually frequently spammed meme albums come to mind pretty quickly.

More western art music that has creative use of bayan accordion or any accordion like this please. Whether it's Madvillainy's Accordion or Gubaidulina's In Croce, creative usage of accordions at all's always cool to me.

youtube.com/watch?v=29Y6808xXP0

Timbre and atmosphere matter more to you than melody and harmony.

Electric Masada - At The Mountains Of Madness
Yosvany Terry - New Throned King

Lots of noisy, textural stuff.

Aube - Cardiac Strain
Keiji Haino & Sitar Tah! - Animamima
Don't personally care for the alt/indie stuff here, but the psych stuff is cool.

Amon Düül II - Yeti
Fuck Buttons - Tarot Sport
This post is full of sadness and frustration just like the music on your chart.

Salvatore Sciarrino - Morte Di Borromini for speaker and orchestra (listen to the whole thing trust me it gets good, but you got some post rock so I shouldn't have to say this)
Warhorse - As Heaven Turns To Ash
Adorior - Author Of Incest
Meth Drinker - s/t

Honestly you might dig quite a bit of the things on my chart, we share a lot of tastes in terms of metal/western art music/noisy stuff.

>Salvatore Sciarrino - Morte Di Borromini for speaker and orchestra (listen to the whole thing trust me it gets good, but you got some post rock so I shouldn't have to say this)
>Warhorse - As Heaven Turns To Ash
>Adorior - Author Of Incest
>Meth Drinker - s/t
Thanks. Try Catoire - Piano Music (Hamelin)

I like your chart btw.

It makes me sick how the word autism has been bastardized to mean anyone who's not exhibiting whatever is subjectively deemed "acceptable" by any half ass bitch. Kill yourself.

Well I mean like 85% of your chart is Sup Forums core

fair, I don't even come here often though I guess, most of the albums I like I've found through RateYourMusic desu. there's just a lot of good Sup Forumscore I guess, makes sense.

Old-school extreme metal is autistic as fuck and I hate it, but have some recs
Imperator - Time Before Time
Tormentor - Anno Domini
Oz - Vinyl Tracks

Fucking autists.

Thanks man, I'll give them a listen.
>Old-school extreme metal is autistic as fuck
It has it's charm, sort of like movies such as Commando or the Showa Godzilla films. It's so stupid and cheesy you can't help but enjoy it.

Fucking autist.

rate, comment, guess, etc

That ski mask tape looks super out of place.

>Timbre and atmosphere matter more to you than melody and harmony.

That's a very keen observation. My favorite albums are those that sound utterly unique and evoke certain moods associated with a specific setting or time period.

Thanks for the Recs! I'm listening to Electric Masada right now. It's incredible.

did you have to take breaks while watching satantango? I've been meaning to watch it but its like 6 or 7 hours lol

german error message - to carry alongside

i thought we solved the problem of the chart spammer by confining him to a single imgur link but he did that like once and stopped. but yeah you could always just ask

Nisennenmondai - Destination TOKYO
Alternative TV - Vibing Up the Senile Man (Part One)

OOIOO - Taiga
death's dynamic shroud.wmv - You're Living All Over Me

Hey jimbon, what's that New Land album?

Hey, I listened to Eclipse last night, it was good, but what on my chart gave you the idea to recommend it to me?

Beto Guedes - Sol de Primavera
The Free Design - Kites Are Fun

TV Girl - French Exit
Faunts - High Expectations/Low Results
Connan Mockasin - Please Turn Me Into the Snat

I wear it. I think all the cinemetal t-shirts are pretty great.

saw it in theaters. Tarr's preferred screening method is either one day with two breaks of 15 min each or first half one day, second half the day after.

+king crimson, aphex twin

killing is my business doesnt deserve to be next to kill em all

not the same dude but how does satantango compare to his other popular movie? that one was purely symbolic i mean it was nice but felt gimmicky if u know what i mean

Does anyone on Sup Forums share my taste!?

sup

wait, which one do you mean? I've seen all his post-Damnation work (ie. those in b&w). if it's Werckmeister Harmonies you're referring to then I'm not the biggest fan of that one desu, if it's Turin Horse then that one's a masterpiece and I don't know what you're talking about. Sátántangó isn't particularly symbolical, it's largely the manner in which it combines duration with the characters/milieu that makes it a super powerful experience. it's similar to Turin Horse in that regard, though TH is a lot more minimalist by design.

Seems odd that you don't have Yeezus on there somewhere.

props for Moodymann and Sprinkles

i was talking about werckmeister, i didn't know he had another popular movie
might watch turin horse first since it's probably not as long then

yeah it's "only" two and a half but still a more difficult viewing experience than Sátántangó imo. I forgot to visit the bathroom before the film but as soon as it started I was hooked and leaving didn't cross my mind _at all_ and the first 2.5 hours until the intermission flew by. but yeah, watch more of his stuff!

Looking for recommendations

too many weeaboo albums

>Hey, I listened to Eclipse last night, it was good, but what on my chart gave you the idea to recommend it to me?
Oren Ambarchi. I try to rec stuff that may help others expand their tastes rather than something that might be exactly the same as other stuff on their chart. Takayanagi's Eclipse is on the more chaotic/messy sounding side of "Free Improvisation" whereas guys like Ambarchi or Loren Connors is on the softer more chill sounding side. Glad you enjoyed it though.
>how is that pazuzu album? i heard another one of those and liked the style, but had nothing else going for them
Värähtelijä is the one I would recommend checking out just because it has perfected the balance between them still trying to be cool and unique like their previous records but with good songwriting to go along with it. Because I definitely do agree that their earlier stuff has more of the unique sound and less of actual riffs. If it doesn't do it for you, then they probs aren't the band for you.

Lazyposting from the other chart thread. Gimme whatchu got, need to explore a little more

my music tastes aren't even good lol
shabazz palaces
marque moon or mass of the fermenting dregs if your up for jap tunes

Tony Molina - Dissed and Dismissed

Happy to see Knife Man/People/Can't Maintain showing up on peoples charts, I thought Sup Forums pretty much jumped ship on AJJ after Christmas Island blew so hard. I think that soured a lot of peoples opinions on the band, which is fair-ish.
Listen to Johnny Hobo & The Freight Trains - Love Songs for the Apocalypse
Viva Belgrado - Flores, carne
Kylie Minogue - Fever
