Ah yes, the British dream.
Ah yes, the British dream
so we must ask the question no one will ask
what's wrong with it
or rather why is this less perverse than the open fields and acres of grass
in other words how do we satisfy the dreams of millions with the given land of a tiny tiny island in the atlantic
this is the urbanization of the post industrial age, the dream must conform on the first to reality and materialistic pseudo-equality on the second
the british "leave me alone and keep a thin lip" is adequately satisfied here
just accept that commieblocks are superior
it's anti-liberalism
>can't parallel park
When you put it like that it's not so bad
wtf? i love the british dream now
>grid patterns
Most people in the UK live in semi detached houses like these, thoughts?
It's what you chose. Anglo culture despises density so it didn't opt for the more dense housing like continentals. Only you have a tiny island to do this on so even though you hate density you had to build your houses still rather close. Thanks to your wonderous cultural inheritance you gave to use we also despise density and thus we spent all of our wealth we obtained in building never ending suburban sprawl that will inevitably fall apart since it's poorly built. We could have built wonderous stone architecture and monuments like the Romans if it wasn't for your degenerate anglo culture.
>the french
Honestly I would rather have country living but I have no idea how to go about that. Anyway, it's a swell alternative to commieblocks, although don't you have a few of those in more urban areas? Not that we don't have commieblocks, it's just a sad consequence of urbanization and overpopulation.
there are cars that literally parallel park for you with sensors.
british people are like insects
constantly infesting other parts of the world
luckily the U.S. has been a potent pesticide in keeping their empire in check
>buidings toutching
>sharing two walls with your neighbors
why is this allowed? i thought "a britishman's home was his castle."
t. Running Bear
>"a britishman's home was his castle."
Most Brits now live in cramped, outdated homes with no green space that cost a fortune. They have given up all privacy and all control over their lives over to the government. They are a pitiful people who are totally reliant upon others and are kept busy and content with cheap liquor and chips.
>content with cheap liquor
That doesn't sound so bad actually
comfy af
the reality is that it#s either this or flats
unlike the continentals, we don't like flats
If you're not living in a comfy village in the south of England then basically you're fucking stupid
>Live in a house
>Shitty weather
>No garage and parking the car outside
Why do you do this?
This
I love living in rural England it's so comfy
I'd move back if the weather and health care wasn't so shit
Used to live in Somerset
i shagged a girl from there once named imogen, was quite nice
>Next time on "Things that never happened"
>Dat pic
Christ that looks like a nightmare. Just imagine the empty bottles of malt vinegar and greasy used fish n' chips Styrofoam boxes are blowing around.
Shut up about 70% of Spain lives in flats
>america could have x if it werent for segenerate anglos
how about " america could x if it werent america"
You have a lot more space than us. Lucky guys.
wtf i love britain now, that looks so comfy. How much does a house like that go for in a bigger city?
Half a mill in London suburbs. Maybe half that up north.
Is it affordable for a software developer?
in london, yes
any decent software dev with 5 years xp will be on 60k plus in london
60k, are you kidding me? They dont earn more in London???
well, yeah they do
if you're really good you'll be earning 100s of thousands but most people aren't, they're just average. an average dev in london with a bit of experience can put away £60k easily
>america
Do you guys even know how to drive a car without it doing everything for you?
They can't even use manual gearboxes :DDD
>no manual cars available when I learnt how to drive
>tfw bogan mates won't stop giving me shit for my auto license
Coastal living is the patrician's choice.
wanna explain this to me a bit better mate im too pissed and hungry to bother
The houses are not that bad but the problem is wih the streets. You shoudn't do straight simmetrical streets
