It's too sad to watch the intellectual freedom of both sides be used to reflect and create toxic ideals instead of talking and reaching a middle ground. Hell, we're Sup Forums. For fucks sake we could spam inboxes or mail in mass to representatives or the white house with good, middle ground, ideology and stances on certain issues that could make the vast majority of America, us, and the world feel better about the Trump presidency. This is representative and we've forgotten all about that. I support this. The last thing political leaders want is cooperation among the voter bases. We dont have to agree on everything but when we're fighting each other and creating chaos, they use that to destroy our liberties.

Why? There have been thousands of Trump threads. Guess how many opinions have been changed? Probably somewhere around zero. There's nothing to discuss. People made up their minds years ago and they aren't going to be changed by furious posts on a website.

I understand where you're coming from, but you fail to see the main point. The main point is to hopefully get people to talk to one another in civility instead of a alt right thread or a Trump train thread. Ideas are meant to be toiled with and thought over, and with enough people you can help change opinions and maybe even help out a politically crippled country.

the American people that matter wanted him to win and the special elections across the country that were also "referendums" on trump all were won by the candidate trump backed so the government needs to do what trump wants because thats what the American people want.

It's hard to think of situations outside of our current day to day lives, or even the modern age, but the same thing happened when Rutherford B Hayes barely won the 1877 election by one electoral vote which caused protests and anger towards the Gov.

It's called conquer and divide. It's how government controls its population, by creating the illusion of 2 parties to side on, a fake "freedom" of choice. Keep the followers fighting each other while they profit behind your back. It's like watching sports. All the meanwhile the players are making millions and all friends with each other behind the scene. The only person who really cares who wins or looses is the brainwashed viewer.

I think I read this on the Daily Stormer newcomers guide or one of those sites. They pointed out that in an internet culture allergic to sincerity, the only way to actually advocate something is to do it ironically. Nazis are the definition of human shit but I believe this point is correct.

I told that to my wife's cousin who was an obvious SJW. She told me I was what was wrong with this country.
