That nasty motherfucker

That nasty motherfucker

Rats leave the sinking ship. What do you expect from lefties?

France has a PM and a president? why?

So does Germany, Italy and some other countries.

President is the head of the state and prime minister is head of the government.

In most countries the prime minister / Chancellor is the one who actually governs, in France it's the president except when the prime minister is from another political party.

Parti socialiste, party of François Mitterrand, has blown itself up. It's a huge loss for the social democratic movement.

that sounds retarded

Macaroni will form the new center, melecheron the nee left and le pen the new right.

>establishment globalist elite government ruins your country
>everybody is pissed off
>get the chance to vote for an outsider
>get duped into voting for a rothschild banker under a new party name

how fucking stupid are the french? they deserve this

>get the chance to vote for an outsider

The only outsiders where litteraly who though.

when the media is shilling like fuck for one candidate, and making the other one out to be literally hitler, that should be a pretty good indication of who to vote for if you want change

Is this the most economically liberal government France has ever had since the Gaelic chiefdoms?

When the_donald is shilling for one particular candidate you know who not to vote for

she was practically hitler. Her father is a nazi sympathizer and is the honorary president of the party.

Are you trying to Imply MLP is an outsider ?

Yeah, maybe we can actually look forward to economical progress.

the_donald is too busy upvoting le based black men and based trannypedes xdd

Neither are lefties. The reason the Socialist Party failed was its full embrace of liberal capitalism. This is why Melenchon surged with his entirely new party, supported by the Communists and the Left Party.

> is the honorary president of the party.

Because they cant kick him due to some laws

No, but she was by far the best choice. Now you can use the gain of all that economical progress to fund your further cultural enrichment

That's still an excuse. The guy's a cuck, the nazis fucked up their country and he supports them.

kek i have a friend in japan who gets paid manager salary for just sitting in a chair reading books, because the company won't fire him and he won't quit
they turned off his air conditioner to make him fuck off already, because laws won't allow them to fire him

> meanwhile in America
>a candidate had more popular vote than the adversary
> still lost
You should mind your own political idiosyncrasies desu

Most countries have PM and president, and they share power.
Why do you think everyone was upset at Erdogan declaring himself both president and prime minister with the latest referendum?

Nah, the other minister is usually used to do all the countless representative tasks the actual powerholder has no time for.

President = President
Prime minister = Vice president

ok it's not that simple but this is the idea

>That's still an excuse

How you retard? They went to court multiple times, they literally can not fire him

...

But its nothing of the sort.
The president and prime minister have different powers and duties.
The president is basically chief diplomat, leader of the army, and can veto the government.
The prime minister is leader of the government.

soicalist party never existed, it always was a centrist party with a fake name to trick dumb leftists.

That's relatively false since Nazis killed his father. He just have got a depassionated way to consider Holocaust.

this is like the mafia, there is the big boss, then a lower boss, then many lower bosses, the big boss has the final say

What do yo umean?

yes as i said it's not that simple but i feel like this is a better, more simple and kid-friendly, way to explain it to americans

Except in 90% of cases its the PM that runs the country, and the president that just meets people and gives speeches.

SS killed the father of Le Pen.

And he's still a nazi sympathiser?

That's an interesting homoerotic undertone.

Do all french men believe in homosex?

but I'm talking about France.

not him but questioning the holocaust doesn't automatically turn you into a german ok maybe it's just a subjective and apolitical belief and i think you should be tolerant and respect that

He's not. He's just not shivering each time somebody speaks about nazis. The way he sees it is not mythologized as much as people today. Do you know Roland Barthes?

He's a nationalist, how does that make him a nazi sympathiser?

>Roland Barthes
who?

In France the balance of power is President vs Assembly, and the PM is the speaker for the Assembly, correct?

>democracy
>good
The electoral college was created to keep the low IQ masses from getting to powerful and it performed its role admirably

A Semiologist; He theorised the modern way to consider things : The french empire, cinema symbols and of course the way you teach history.
From his works, we can say that today, WWII and nazis are mythologized through images and false impregnation of emotions that are for example gaz rooms and jewish genocide.

>huge loss for the social democratic movement

And a big fucking "so what" for everyone else

>today's capitalism
>liberal

Maybe in the US although I'd have my doubts about that too. But Europe has an environment that's decidedly not liberal. The worker is protected by assloads of laws and agreements that only the big companies can handle. It's no wonder the unemployment is so high. Also, work is highly taxed to feed the social state.

Not to mention a lot of big French companies are part state owned.

It reflects the monarchies in the surrounding countries. The Finnish president is pretty much just a PR person with the power to grant pardon to prisoners.

There was a surprisingly numerous of votes with notes like "this election is a disgrace", "this is like having to chose between cholera and typhus" and so on.

>she was by far the best choice

because of what?

Sup Forums and Sup Forums people like you keep taking her side but what do you actually know about french politics, other than her "no more immigrants"?

mlp and fn have no real plans as well as no experience running a country
making her president would be like asking someone without even a driver's license operate a plane

But it was literally the low IQ masses that elected Trump

Manuel Valls was always part of the right-wing of the socialist party so it's no surprise really.

It might actually be smart for them to do economic reforms with a new party because otherwise the old socialist party would surely die after having discredited itself with being more economic right-wing than the former conservative governments.

That's basically what happened to Labour under Blair and the German SPD under Schröder

What the fuck? Worker protections are the lowest they've been since the 50s. Postwar history has been the slow unraveling of the Western welfare state, which ramped after neoliberalism became cool in the late 80s.

The reason why Hollande was so unpopular was because he went along with this trend, instead of standing with the workers as a left-wing party ought to.

Smoke and mirrors. The PS is indeed very, very dead. Hollande is the face of its demise, and now everyone who matters within that party is jumping ship. EM is PS reborn. Ironically it's much like Hollande himself: too right wing to be called socialist. At least this is somewhat beneficial to France, as the hardline socialists will probably be purged in favor of the more wishy-washy centrist ones.

Head of state and head of government. It becomes easier to understand when you realize the architect of the 5th Republic was a crypto-monarchist and the president is effectively the country's king.

>No, but she was by far the best choice
Nope. The best choice was BY FAR Fillon. He's a more moderate version of Le Pen.
>Admits France has a problem with Islam -not religion in general- but doesn't let it dominate his rhetoric
>Admits Germany's dominance over the EU is a problem, but doesn't want to leave and crash France's economy
>Actually had Thathcherite reform plans, as opposed to the internally contradictory policies of Macron which effectively both lower income and increase expenses
>Conservative Catholic who wasn't afraid to show it
A shame such good ideas were attached to such a corrupt man.

>Manuel Valls was always part of the right-wing of the socialist party so it's no surprise really.
This too. He did at one point propose dropping "socialiste" from the party's name.

> modern European """Socialists"""

European leftism died in Budapest 1956. Nowadays we only have corrupted bourgeois friends of banksters and transnational companies. When a European politician has the balls to call for a workers' revolution that will hang the last capitalist with the entrails of the last priest, maybe I'll believe in European leftism again.

>Worker protections are the lowest they've been since the 50s.

Can't be fired on the spot.
Employers can't ask employees anything relevant like for example whether the girl is pregnant.
Guaranteed holidays out of the ass.

Employers naturally reacted to this by reducing hiring and hiring temps.

>Postwar history has been the slow unraveling of the Western welfare state

I don't know which war you mean but the welfare state didn't exist pre-WW2 or it sure as hell wasn't as ubiquitous.

It's an invention of the 60s and 70s and coincides with an increase of unemployment from that period since all those welfare state benefits came with higher taxes.

Yes but on the other hand, the workers' protection acts as a social cushion during crisis time like the past 10years.
Look how France resisted better than the UK for example.
However, the problem is when the economy starts to grow again and then our economy has more inertia. This is what Macron would like to take care of, he is more like a neo DSK.

>Look how France resisted better than the UK for example.
How? Britain's economy was more vibrant and dynamic until Brexit, and France has been bleeding billionaires and talented people for the last half decade. Anyone worth a damn is leaving the country because of how lethargic its economy is and how Hollande did nothing to change it, only cementing France's status as a German client state when it should be Germany's rival for supremacy.
