as far as djent goes, a lot of members of preeminent bands are minorities (2/5 of periphery, 2/3 of animals as leaders, 1/4 of monuments, some past members of intervals and tesseract)
as far as alt-rock goes, a lot of the more commercial bands have minority members as well. pat smear from foo fighters is part native/african american, pete wentz is like half black, rhcp has had a variety of hispanic players, there was james iha from smashing pumpkins/perfect circle, etc. i will say indie rock specifically is still mostly white though
trance i'll give you was a stretch, i'm referring mostly to more generic edm artists who are influenced heavily by trance, of which there are a >lot< of asians
