They only had one good song on that album and it was Blister in the Sun
that's objectively incorrect
The DAN is GOAT
yep, love singing Bowie and Smiths songs -- it's fun to try to imitate their accents and vocal timbres (Bowie employs a wide variety of timbres)
Scott Walker is a fun challenge for baritones, and Zappa/Mothers songs have some really fun basso profundo stuff.
Stevie Wonder writes some beautiful and fun melodies to sing to. Golden Lady, As, for examples.
One of my favorite songs to sing is actually really simple and relaxing....Motion Pictures by Neil Young
indeed
all true
i love attemping to sing all of those you posted.
this is a fun thread
fuck yes! Every song on that album is gold. Nothing like doing the Bowie Satellite AWOOOOOOOOOOOOO! at the top of your lungs alone in your car.
Also, Andy's Chest:
>the funny thing is what happened to her nose
>wewwwwww
Nico - The Marble Index (love her accent and unique voice)
Patti Smith - Redondo Beach
King Crimson - Islands, Prince Rupert Awakes, Three of a Perfect Pair, Frame by Frame
Hall & Oates - When the Morning Comes (seriously fun phrasing)
Kenny Loggins - Danny's Song (don't crash your van into a tree while singing it though)
Bill Wither - Who is he and what is he to you
>dad gummit
Blind Faith - Can't Find My Way Home
Bonnie Raitt - Not the Only One
Neko Case - Star Witness
Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London, Poor Poor Pitiful Me
Brian Eno - Burning Airlines, St. Elmo's Fire, I'll Come Running, etc.
Are you the poster that works at a vinyl store?
Also:
Wire - Field Day for the Sundays (kind of a tongue twister)
The Stooges - Down On the Street, Loose, TV Eye (including all the howls and rawrs)
Objectively best album to sing too.
DEE DEEE, DEE DEEE, DEE DEE DEEEEEE....

It's all so catchy

I'm not usually into singing prog songs a lot, but I always end up going anyways like

>THIS WILL BE OUR YEAR, TOOK A LONG TIME TO COME
>IT'S THE TIME OF THE SEEEASON FOR LOOOVIIIIING
I could go on, honestly. And the really dense vocal harmonies mean you can sing a different part every time.
APPARITION EYES, APPARITION EYES, KNOCK APPARITION KNOCK EYES APPARITION EYES
WAS HE A VIOLENT MAAAAAAAAAAAAN? WELL HE HAD HIS GENOCIDAL MOMENTS
The high, whiny notes and light screams make it perfect vocal warmup material
>The high, whiny notes and light screams
