I have a gambling problem :(. Can anyone suggest some help? inb4 1800gambler

how much have you lost? you normally play blackjack?

Probably around 15,000 this year so far. I only play blackjack.

How did this started?
I have never actually thought it could be a serious issue

were you up at all this year? how many years have you been playing? also were you betting 50-100$ a hand?

Started in my early twenties and throughout the years the motto bet big win big has won me lots and lost more.

Kill self

Yeah I play anywhere from 50 to 300 a hand. Depends on the night. At one point I was up 7500.

Play the martingale strategy. Guaranteed winner.

You should try calling 1800-gambler

do you normally go by yourself to play? any tips you could give to a new blackjack player? who has never been to a casino before but is interested in learning some strategys.

Just buy drugs instead you faggot.

Wrong person to ask tips from... this cunt is so desperate he is seeking help here.
Cmon, think!

Realize that the odds are heavily stacked against you and that its not worth it, mathematically, to gamble. You can't even count cards either. Also, check em.

Buy a blackjack card and study it. I play solo. Playing with friends is almost certain to have a negative outcome (one of you will be losing). Play the blackjack cards rules only breaking them when you are up. That last point is important. I catch myself doubling down against a four five or six with a hard twelve when im down. You will always hear take what you can afford to lose. I am what you call a functioning gambler. I pay all my bills and take care of all responsibilities and then I take the rest and either win or lose.

>$15k down
Dude, you need to realize you simply suck at blackjack. I win at a 68-84% clip. It's fucking math man, not rocket science.

casino supervisor here, we will always win boys, we always do, you can get small victorys but we will get that money back eventually. The feeling of making money by playing a game is addictive as fuck. I'm not a problem gambler but I am addicted to the rush. If you want tips my advice is sign yourself out, you can request the states gambling properties to ban you from the property.

Hey ive hit dubs twice in this thread. Im an oldfag and im not seeking help more of just looking to talk to other gamblers with the "problem"

>check em
you missed, kind of like a ten on a hard 12

cute stat, literally fake doe. Even counting cards on a 6 deck hand dealt shoe at best your looking at a 51% chance of victory.

>cute stat, literally fake doe
whatever. I know what I pocket. Counting isn't difficult for me.

you want other people to tell you how much they suck too so you feel better about yourself? Dont. Your wasting your time and money, find a new hobby. I work in a fucking casino and you are never going to win over a long period of time. Short yes, long nope.

does anyone here start with a small amount say only betting the min and try to work their way up?

Yeah but as a functioning gambler I cant actually admit I have a problem. ps love the gif. got anymore of her?

congratulations that doesnt make the game foolproof, I've dealt to card counters for hours on end, bad luck still exists in a hot deck and it does happen on a regular basis. Feel free to look up the MIT count team, they state themselves after being up 400K lifetime they started to go on a bad streak and lose just because of pure bad luck.

It's about grinding.
And not playing under shitty house rules.

Screen shotting and making it my background. Thank you Sup Forumsro

when i gamble seldom i enjoy doing this. 10 dollar bet if you win save 5 and go to 15, win go to 20 save 10 etc

dat pic doe

thats valid and no disrespect meant, card counting can be an art and i wish you all the best

>bad streak
5 straight losses, walk away from the table. Hard & fast rule.
Impossible to get caught in a streak unless you let it happen.

Fun but short story, dealt to Toby Keith when he was in town for a concert, that guy is literally the biggest drunk asshat. He played for a couple hours, his family members tipped 7.50$ and he tipped 2.50$. Fuck you toby keith

Take what you can lose, divide it into 4 sessions, at least 2 hours apart.
All winnings go in pocket.
Once your stake runs out, walk away for a while.

Where do you deal?

1. Great Pic
2. Small North Eastern State.
3. I mostly Pit Boss now but I do both.

ha, I've never tipped a dealer, evah...
Yeah, I'm that guy

There is a guaranteed winning strategy. See:

Luke Bryan was really cool and tipped our waitresses 100 bucks a drink and hugged a couple fans and shit.

how much did you first start out playing blackjack with and what was your first big win/successful session?

So CT, Mohegan or Foxwoods?

that pic man
i cant stop looking at it

you need a deep pocket and balls of steel but this will work if you avoid table limits.

Im in PA

neither, wrong state ;) its a small casino

aside from casino talk this has had some great pics in it hahaha

10$ table limit. Took $150.00 left with $330.00. You can literally win 15 hands in a row or lose 30 in a row it happens. Blackjack is a grind. Often you are the meat being ground up.

For all your blackjack players that cant get anything going, learn craps on the side, its literally the most rewarding game if you are patient and learn to understand it. ive seen 20 bucks become 800, 60 become 1000. Obviously these are crazy success stories but craps its one of those games that if its hot it feels like your robbing the place blind.

...

is it relatively easy to learn?

...

if you simplify it, it can be. Like for example ignore the pass line and learn place bets first. Place bets are houses in monopoly. Someone lands on your house (rolls the dice) they pay you rent. You bet on an 8, shooter rolls an 8, you get paid and your house stays there.

dont die on me now! this is the most ive ever posted in a thread haha

I feel better talking about it on the internets to random people. Thread gonna die now,.

I'll second that
craps is an absolute blast to play at the casino, especially when everyone is winning together.

I like to equate it to settlers of catan. you build a settlement on a 6 (bet money on 6) and the dice roll is a 6, you collect your resources (win money), if a 7 gets rolled the robber robs you of your resources (you lose your bets)

I'll concur with this.

hey we made front page again, come one come all. B is talking casino games!

post more bi@tches

OP here. Lurking now. Thinking of going back to the casino.

Casino "Secrets'
>Most of us hate you
>if you dont tip after a big win we do talk shit about you in the breakroom
>we notice shit, we know everyone and everything and we love to gossip about other players even if its against the rules
>its not funny when you jokingly pretend to bet your entire stack of chips on a blackjack or sidebet win

what kind of bankroll do you have if you go back?

OC, didnt fuck her ruz rave whore

2500 in the bank right now. Id try to limit myself to 500 but end up blowing a grand if I actually go. I lost 1200 Earlier today.

do you stick with one casino or switch? you live in vegas?

what type of job do you have?

safe to assume you dont know craps? if you do try dont progression, my casino had a kid 2 weeks ago take us for 10K over 2 nights just betting progressive donts.

I prefer blowing a wad that size on strippers. At least you get something out of it.

I live in Pennsylvania, I frequent different casinos. They all comp me rooms and food so I like to take girls with me as arm candy and then plow them in my suites.. Picture is profession.

Yeah I only play Blackjack and Mini bac.

Play in grantville at all?

...

Nothing like an oilman off the fields looking for some time off.

My cousin used to work strip clubs in Alaska, she did a half million a year stripping for guys just off the north shore.

If you want the biggest edge you have to play poker.

Blackjack you might win if you can count cards accurately and they don't discover you. You can also bet sports, but you really have to know what you're doing. Roulette or anything else? No chance.

It requires a lot of discipline like patience, emotional control and money management.

If you can get that down you're all set.

And the great thing about poker is anybody can beat anybody, and you don't play against the house, it's just you and between 1 and 9 other dudes, chilling, playing cards, gambling.

Best places to start? IMO head over to:
pokerschoolonline.com (pokerstars' training site)
twoplustwo.com (best poker forum online with top information to be found there)

I'd also consider picking up a subscription to deucescracked.com and investing into either Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker 4 (try getting the Omaha add ons too, you'll need them in future)

source: been playing poker 13 years+winning for 5.

>If you want the biggest edge you have to play poker.
Then there are the guys who have the die throw down to a science and can call the number.

one other thing

if you live in the US you won't get much access to online poker right now because your government is corrupt and authoritarian and is in bed with the big casinos.

you might want to start out on AmericasCardroom, which has a 100% $1000 deposit bonus, where they allow american players.

poker fag here, what do the hold em managers and poker trackers do? Ive had some success on bovada and ignition but hard to stop once i get going so stepped away.

>548
alternatively you can invest in a VPN and hope to not get caught

I play poker when im up at two of the casinos I go to. Poker is so extremely slow and everyone thinks they are Chris Moneymaker. Losing 300 dollars in a poker pot is nothing when I bet that in one hand of Blackjack. Its fun but its too slow.

basically it tracks your wins and losses, as well as those as your opponents, as well as vital statistics like VPIP (how often someone plays hands voluntarily), PFR (how often they raise before the flop), AF (aggression factor), W$SD (how often someone wins at showdown) and 3B% (how often someone reraises before the flop), plus many other things. It gives you a graph too for a visual of your progress.

it does all this by importing hand histories of hands you were at the table for.

ive never eaten ass in my life and i would eat her ass like i needed it to breathe. gaddam

never heard of americas card room, downloading that shit asap

yeah live poker is a different animal.

it is slow, you get 30 hands an hour at holdem if you're lucky, and obviously you can only play one table.

it's more about the social aspect of the game, and the style of play is much looser in general. also the rake is generally much higher.

...

i wanna add as well that you generally have to play a minimum of $1/$2 at your local casino, buyins of anything from $100 upwards whereas online you can play 1c/2c and buy in for $2.

the standard of play at live $1/$2 is about the same as a 1c/2c online game though haha

time for bed, signing off Casino Supervisor, good luck doods, thanks for the hot chicks and good convos

here's an example of a tracker i use and some stats from some nano stakes omaha high low i played

fpdb it's called.
