QUESTION FOR /bcg/BROS
How do you react when you can hear background noise in a recording? I have a handheld mic and a lot of material but I don't have a quiet space to record in. I kinda want to just record my album in the basement with the air conditioner noise and call it done. Keep in mind that I'm a neet and have $0 to spend on equipment
If you're just going to do individual tracks I suggest that you try Soundcloud.

It is my band's first demo release, and we'll be working on getting an entire demo album together.
Fuuuuuug Blue Hole Bro. I love your stuff, mayne, I downloaded it to my iPod. Just realized I don't have your latest one though so I'm stoked to dl it and listen.
Are you from New Mexico by any chance? I was driving through there and saw a roadside sign that said "BLUE HOLE --->" lol
>Hey friends it's me, the thread is really dead today yeah?
This is pretty soild ambient I just wish it was a bit more busier in terms of keeping my interest
I'm not a fan of what little vocals you have I guess they work but I'd like to here more than just distant screams.
I like this is pretty solid I don't like the cover art though but the tones and sound choice are great
This is great I love the melodies on Rose Saint. I think Out of the Lop i also a great track. Acoustic as a whole has never really done it for me but this is well made
This is good but I feel it's too lo-fi is you clean up the sound a bit and tighten up the production it would be great, it reminds me of Tonstartsbandhd
Rec:
Not a bandcamp but I do have a new song / music video that I made last week
>comes to bandcamp thread non bandcamp content
Thanks man, I'm glad you enjoyed it! No, I'm from Washington state. I actually named Blue Hole after an underwater cave system in Belieze, apparently there's a "blue hole" in NM too though, didn't know that lol. But tyvm for the DL's.
You're still on here? I remember you from like a year ago posting the same album every day
I don't see you criticizing Hutto, Taxon, or Scrugley for doing the same thing lel
forgot the link youtube.com
unfortunately there's no home made music videos thread and the sticky says to post original content in bandcamp thread or soundcloud thread :/
I'm not, but I just came up with the track list yesterday, I'm write them linearly and focusing track by track. Eventually it'll be about an EP's length unless creativity strikes me. Why do you reccomend SC?
Cool video user...
oh wow i posted a thwomp link oops youtube.com
Oh okay nevermind. I thought you were going to be one of Those Guys that have a clusterfuck of individual tracks
Depends on how much it interferes with the music. Sometimes, it can complement it. I mean, that's part of lo-fi
I'd rather listen to something cool that's recorded with some background noise than not listen to anything that isn't completely clean
As gay as it is that was really great user. Awesome production value on audio and visual.
Thank you
Fuck no, I'm too autistic to even enjoy individual tracks properly by other artists.
Also as you can probably tell from the 'music' I put up there, it's not exactly a serious project. I'm mostly doing it to stave off the numbness of having nothing to do, and also to practice with the basic functions of audacity. That was the first time I made programmed beats using sounds of me hitting things. So I learnt someing
will the 8 other shitty bands get posted already so this thread can fuck to page 7
Hi negative nancy
Hi alliterative Alan
Listened to Palanquin and Be Home Shortly...
Palanqujin: Very moody. You really know how to make a depressing sound
BHS: Those sounds in the background are a nice touch. What are they?
