Chinese made akg's that sound similar

DT770

Any recommendations for ~£100 ($130)

These puppies
Symphonized Wraith 2.0

For $75 (which included a unlimited warranty) they're pretty damn good in my opinion.

And durable as fuck.
I've dropped them, yanked them, had them fall off, and generally abused the fuck out of them, and they still sound just as good as when I got them 6 months ago.

Not saying they're the best things ever made, but they're exactly the kind of headphones I need with how clumsy I am.

basically those but the version with a boom mic

Do you use an amp or anything? Sounds like the kind of headphones for me.

Some Philips headphones I bought for 15 bucks

I do like music, but giving 100-200 bucks for headphones is just beyond retarded

>inb4 MUH BASS AND CLARITY XDD

AKG K550, my friend had these so I got a pair myself, really good.

Dt 770 i for bass or sennheiser hd 558 for neutral.

Dt770 pro drop down into that range sometimes

Nah no amp, they go reasonably loud and I can't think of a single time I've ever had to turn the volume all the way up.

I don't have the greatest hearing either, but I usually am comfortable with about 75-80% of max volume.

DT 990 and AKG K612 are an option too.

These look good, thanks for the suggestion.
Also thanks for the great discount amazon

250 ohm hold on you need an amp for those or get 80 ohm version

DT 990's. Had M50x's before...like 'em both.

I didn't even know this was a thing, cheers

Grados SR-225e's
I'm a bit regretful that I didn't try out many other pairs before shelling out so much money for headphones from a niche company, but I still absolutely love them

>I love music
>Sound quality that helps me appreciate the music fully doesn't matter xD

How is it possible to be this retarded? I wonder if there's poorfags on Sup Forums who insist it doesn't matter that they watch blurays on an old CRT?

We're not even talking about stupid placebo audiophile nonsense that costs multiple thousands of dollar heres; a mere couple hundred bucks on some quality headphones is a very reasonable purchase for any music lover. If you listen on cheap garbage you're a dumb and/or unperceptive faggot, end of story.

I still use these fucking things. I've had them for like 4 years and they're still decent.

When I read about getting new headphones, I'm confonted with another problem: if I have good headphones, what do I listen to them on? Most high end sets need an amp, don't they? And meanwhile I just listen to music on my phone.

I'd definitely invest in better headphones, but that issue of what to put them through bothers me

There are higher end headphones that are pretty sensitive (as in don't need tons of juice) so they will run pretty well from a phone. If you're mainly listening portable you could invest in a decent DAP like the Fiio x5 or something similar. They sound much better than a phone and have a lot more juice for your headphones.

>biggest meme headphones around
yeah that's what they shit up on Sup Forums where people are salty about others enjoying different headphones, but they sound great anyway

I'm saying it from experience, I owned the 225i.

>They sound great anyway

Genuinely curious, are they your first decent headphone? Because their sound is extremely coloured. Very bright and hot in the treble and very rolled off in the bass. Don't get me started on the crappy build quality and comfort.

They have some strong suits but far, far too many downsides to justify them. I had the Beyerdynamic DT880 a little down the line for around the same price they shit all over them.

One day when I get more stable income I'll probably get another pair, one to take on the road because I ain't taking the grados anywhere with their fragility. But no, I didn't really experience any headphones in the same price bracket as my 225e.

I'm currently using a cheap E10k but I'll get a Chord Mojo in the next few weeks.

schiit magni 2 and modi 2. It's the best value you can get.

How do you like it?

Major 2 Bluetooth Marshalls

HEADPHONES (with PC):
Sennheiser RS 120 - great sound, good sound control, and wireless!!

EARBUDS (with phone, but sometimes with PC):
Apple earbuds - very good bass, and sound control

I use an AudioGD NFB15.32

>inb4 chifi

it sounds good, has good connectivity options and controls, and it was on sale when I got. Zero regrets my negro.

>Speakers are better

I actually agree with this. All things taken into account I prefer not only the presentation of speakers but also any speaker is more comfortable than any headphone. However sometimes you want the privacy or extra detail retrieval and intimacy of a headphone.

I got a $4 pair of over the ear headphones from Walmart

I'm not unsatisfied actually, I intend to upgrade my headphones eventually, and I though if I upgrade my amp first I'd get more out of my current one.

lcd-4 w/ ragnarok and yggdrasil for serious listening
