Hey Sup Forums what are your favorite podcasts...

Hey Sup Forums what are your favorite podcasts? I'm looking for some general recommendations for my drive to work and genuinely interested in what you enjoy listening too.
My personal favorites are Dan Carlin's Hardcore History and The Vault of Lovecraft(though he hasn't updated in a while which is a real shame).

Here's my top 3
Startalk ~~ Neill DeGrass Tyson talks about physics.
Our Fake History ~~ Stories from History that Might be true.
Mysterious Universe ~~ 2 Aussies talk aliens, conspiracies and bigfoot.

Here's a rundown of what I listen to

>Ben Shapiro's podcast
Political stuff
>Brilliant Idiots
Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Shulz talking about whatever
>Double Toasted (Sunday Service is the best). Former spill.com reviewer Korey Coleman and Martin (formerly Leon) talking about whatever, mostly movies and box office
>Bill Burr's Monday Morning podcast
Bill talking about whatever
>The Dollop
Two dudes talking about weird shit in american history. The ghost one in particular is my favorite, I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes
>The Church of What's Happening Now
Joey Diaz talking with his co-host and whoever he has on
>Joe Rogan Experience
Joe talking with whoever. It has a lot of gems, but its been buried in a lot of filler recently
>TK Kirland Show
Comedian giving advice to people.
>We Hate Movies
Four guy's going through an entire movie and shitting on it
>Drink Champs
N.O.R.E interviewing various hip hop related people.
>Dead End Hip Hop
The DEHH guys just talking about whatever and answering questions. Not sure if its on the app though. I go on soundcloud.

>Sword and scale
If you like true crime stuff

>meat eater podcast
Hunting

>Radio lab
Has a lot of gems and a lot of shit

I listen to audio books. Podcasts are waste of time.

No time for Alex Jones?
Seems like it would be perfect for you.

Get me a link for the 40k horus heresy books.

What makes you say that?

the adventure zone and My Brother My Brother and Me

Ben Shapiro
Joe Rogan
Bill burr

I personally like OneOfus than Toasted.

I've heard lots of good things about adventure zone from friends but I feel it may be a bit too silly for me. Does it have serious moments and actual character development or is it just memes, chaotic stupid characters and in-jokes the whole time?

I listen to
This American Life
War College
And a couple of news podcasts that I need to unsubscribe to.

I've always liked Burr. I started Rogan since someone recommend him to me last year. And I like Shapiro, after watching some videos of his during the election stuff.

I forgot Chris had his own thing. I should check it out. I don't think it'll top Korey and Martin for me though. Maybe if they had co-host.

>Startalk
Does he keep it science related or does he insert politics too?

>More Perfect
Radiolab's supreme court podcast

>Working
Slate's podcast about random jobs.

>Origins
Just did a series on curb your enthusiasm

>Ear Hustle
Prison stories recorded inside San Quentin

how do you avoid "politics" when talking about NASA funding or global warming.
it gets brought up.

but if you haven't heard of it, it's basically a pop science podcast.
with a "funny" black sidekick.
Bill Nye is on there. i've listened to a couple that he has been on and didn't like any of them. He's normally a dick to the co-host.

>No Agenda
Political and media deconstruction, US and international

>Completely Unnecessary Podcast
Gaming and nerd shit

>DH Unplugged
Lighthearted look at finance and investing Yolo

>co-host
Tony
lol. just heard them talking about him the other day.
guess he really did turn his back on podcasts.
they still hang out all the time. heard he moved to Seattle.

What about audio dramas and other story driven shit?
Been listening to Decodring theatre for zany pulp stuff and Icebox radio for their horrors.
For sci-fi been following Edict Zero FIS and Star Trek Outpost.
What about you anons?

It gets super serious as it goes on

...

OP, the first one is called Hello Internet.
I recommend starting from the first episode with all of these, the 2 exceptions being The Pen Addict and We Have Concerns, only because they have so many episodes.

care to describe them?
i need to get away from listening only to news podcasts

mysterious universe, 50 traders (until it recently went paid only), risk, snap judgement, pseudopod, escape pod, lore, the history of rome.

>HI
'2 dudes talking'. Anything from personal life to science news to bees. No politics.
>Cortex
Tech news and workflow discussion.
>The Pen Addict
Pens. Paper. Inks. Etc.
>We Have Concerns
Shoer episodes (~20min) where they discuss science/tech articles and somehow make it funny.
>Serial
Beautifully told war story.
>Hardcore History
You already listen to it.
>S-Town
Beautifully told crime story
>The Unmade Podcast
You really have to be a Brady Haran fan to get into it. It only has 3 episodes so I can't really put it into a genre. No news though.
>Schmucks
YouTube podcast that has made laugh unlike any other podcast. Each episode it's another YouTuber being interviewed a.d the host is so autistic it's amazing.

I hope I helped you O.P. , I also was in your situation when I first discovered podcasts.

not OP but thanks.
I'll probably check them all out. they all sound pretty good
