Why the WBC is great

...

I, for one, welcome our new Bruce Hopper Overlord.

>He didn't cross out the elim teams

Bruce Hopper or Mick Tuna, /mlb?

Mick.

Is he, dare I say it, back?

Brett Root or Luke Kerrig?

Neither

Patrician choice.

Brett, obviously

Hopper

>spring training
Oh no, it's literally fucking nothing. Kevin Pillar is batting .435 with an OPS of 1.152. I guess that means he's winning the batting title this year and MVP.

Wow...

NIPPON BANZAI

Does the USA even have a prayer of a chance?

Darren Cheetah or Call Rapptin Juder?

Mr. Juden

OY VEY

Darrens leadership and Calls skils

It's not nothing. He looks good at the plate. Not like last year where he looked injured and lost.

The two most over rated players of the last 75 years together again.

Was he actually injured? I know it was never said he was injured but it seems like an excuse to me. He had one of the hottest starts to the season and then just fell off a cliff. Ever since maddon refused to pitch to him he just wasn't the same guy.

Maddie Bumbum

...

He had neck issues, which he never confirmed. Maybe he didn't want to jeopardize his 500 million dollar Yankee contract. Injury is the only thing that makes sense. As you said, he fell off a cliff. Getting walked a bunch of times doesn't do that to you. Admittedly, he didn't have quite the same plate discipline but that doesn't explain away such a precipitous fall in production so suddenly. He's always been pitched around and he's mentally resilient. I don't buy the whole "Madden ruined his career" bit. Even the Royals' meme mantis is more believable that that.

>The Chicago Cubs came back from a 3-1 deficit to win game 7 and their first World Series Championship since 1908

Daily reminder that the Giants, Dodgers, and Indians allowed the Cubs to win the world series.

>Cubs ended the Even Year meme
>Cubs decimated the Kershaw is elite meme
>Cubs ended the Windians meme
>All while becoming the biggest meme of all

why are they LARPing
That looks like some jolly cooperation

If the cubes fanbase hadn't become so cancerous they would've been the ultimate superheroes

Instead they became reddit supervillians

>jolly cooperation
A for honor reference in my /MLB/? Get out! What server you on?

During those couple of weeks where the league was talking about expanding the netting behind home plate to keep people from being hit from foul balls the Cubs hitting coaches joked that instead of netting people should just come in full armor. Pic related happened next game.

>reddit supervillians

But the Indians were Reddit's team

>for honor reference
Is this some new meme....?

Top banter. I hope Joe arranged it.

p-p-praise t-the sun....?

Trips confirm

So THAT'S why a shootout hasn't broken out at a nig sox game yet. They bribe the police with free tickets.

>Price confirmed dead
Damn, how many aces do they have left?

Wait, why the fire department?

Because the team is a dumpster fire.

Nigs like lighting shit on fire

>Redeem yours by May 19th
Is it also complimentary?

>Cubs ended the Even Year meme
Giants did that to themselves with all those blown saves all year and NO closer. They shouldn't have even made it into the playoffs with that second half they had but they had the league's best record at the break and relied on that just to scrape in. It would have been an embarrassment for the Cubs to lose to them after the years they both had. >mest

>Cubs decimated the Kershaw is elite meme
>postseason Kershaw
It's fucking nothing.

>Cubs ended the Windians meme
They took you all the way and they, not the Cubs, made Game 7 as great as it was. Rajai was the player of the game and you know it.

>All while becoming the biggest meme of all
It was a meme over a century in the making, and winning the WS brought it to an end instead of starting a new one. The Cubs are actually less interesting than ever now, and a big part of baseball for many people has now died.

topless mud wrestling match. winner gets a doughnut. how vicious does it get?

>runner on 3rd one out late in the tied game
>long flyball to the warning track in foul territory
>outfield makes the flyout ball out in foul territory
>runner on 3rd tags and scores go ahead run
>proceeds to lose game

Why do I see this scenario so often? Are most outfielders retarded?

>talks about her dating life openly on the early morning news

Belt's wife dark horse winner

Madison Bumgarner's wife is fat

Check out Australia with the obscure scenario.
Yeah. I always wondered the same thing myself. Why not let the ball drop and try and get the batter out without allowing the runner to score. I don't have an answer. Perhaps the conventional wisdom is to get the sure out. Seems stupid to me too.
>do you mind if I have some of your tasty beverage to wash this down?

she's past fat. she's obese.

...

I can imagine a team with weak pitching and good offense doing that just to secure the out with minimal risk of greater damage, just because they trust they can get that run back more easily than it would be for their pitching staff to get through the inning without allowing more runs than just the one sac fly.

The Brewers are going to have a winning season. It's time to turn this franchise around.

24-3 offensive powerhouse

So, is Price kill?

...

>Orioles trying to turn Pedro Alvarez into an outfielder

LOL?

He'll likely start the season on the DL and miss a few starts. At this point, they're being cautious, but he's fallen behind and needs to get in to a throwing regimen that isn't too aggressive. So, long story short, it ain't good, but it's not that bad. Yet.

Wow...

Its okay, it was single A pitchers who wont see the majors for years if ever

noooooo dont

>Its okay
No, user

>dominican
B-b-but I'm white!

No min max assfaggots, primo

This is gonna be hilarious.

Fuck you Phillie fan; he a cut mutt, and lands on your farm to deal with, 30 days from now
(At least its not Chase Headley)

I mean, he's still a really productive hitter.

MMR is really brassy today
Did your BF take you somewhere nice, MMR?

Last year with the Orioles, Pedro Alverez made 4 errors in 9 defensive chances on the year. That's a fielding percentage of .444. High enough for any 4th grade little league or fat, drunk beer league softball player to be proud of.

...

But can he DINGERS?!

SIGN HIM UP

I know. I'm intrigued, but ...........Orioles. It would never work.

If she moves to be with you she might root for the home team
