How did Portugal resist becoming part of Spain...

How did Portugal resist becoming part of Spain? There's no awkward part of France speaking a language that's basically just French with sillier pronunciations that has independence.

I would say Spaniards maybe?

Portugal starts to get reaaaal complicated when you pass Coimbra down.

Spain has more people but it also has bigger south. Hard to tell.

They have WAY more blondes and blue eyes though. Like comparing France to Spain, not even joking.

What the fuck are you talking about.
He's not talking about raw numbers.It's percetage-wise

Spaniards then, no doubt.

Luxembourg? honest question afaik Luxembourgish is a mix of German and French

Oh,you're that poster...
Do you still think you know the north better than me you nigger?
Anyway,do you know that Andalusia is the spanish region with the biggest population?

I like Portugal, they're cute.

Your country is too small for there to be a significant distinction between north and south desu. I drove further than that last week.

Comrades, join Spanish union

I'm talking about my experience of the Spaniards that visited.

>Do you still think you know the north better than me you nigger?

Acalma o parreco.

I wish that were true though.

What makes the land is the people, something that's lacking during most of a 600km trip in any direction through your country.

Who is this guy.

Mexican, Arab?

Why is his face everywhere.

Já foste a Espanha ao menos?

I am just like you iber comrade

why is this guy being posted on so many boards?

Galiza umas quantas vezes.

Why do you go to the places I go to?

lmao. Stop ruining this chicano, he did nothing wrong I guess.

Post your face iber comrade

>you can drive from one end of the country to the other in 6 hours
>while in yours if you drive for 6 hours you've crossed maybe a state or two.
Cuntlets, when will they learn?

pls stop.

Ah sim.

They had an english sugar daddy.
And had a lot of decent colonies to bring money in that weren't just a money sink.

Belgium is something like that. There are other countries like that too. "Germany" wasn't a thing during most part of the modern era, it was just a bunch of smaller kingdoms and whatever that shared some similarities (like language) and some were part of a bigger empire.
This whole nationality/state thing is relatively new-ish and kinda arbitrary.

Post your face!
We are brothers!!!

...

Isn't it illegal to go after non-suspecting people ?

If you admit portugal is Spanish but a seperate state solely then I'll let you off

Holy fuck, Europe seems very claustrophobic

Sim sim.

As do campo digo.

>There's no awkward part of France speaking a language that's basically just French with sillier pronunciations that has independence.
>What is Andorra

Andorra is pretty cool.

Is Andorra Iberian or Gaul what Lang dey speak

We just let them pretend that they're an independent nation.

so many portugese in my country, i see your damn flags whenever soccer is on

Here Be a little history for ye:

Portugal has historically had its independence from Spain for a long time. The Iberian peninsula was home to 5 major kingdoms in the pre-Spain: Aragon, Castile, Navarre, Grenada, and Portugal. After the union of Castile and Aragon through the Marriage of Isabella 1st and Ferdinand the 2nd. After this Union Spain became a strong force of Conquest and Catholicism, quickly Conquering the weaker Kingdoms of Grenada and Navarre, leaving the only formidable force in their way of world domination: Portugal. there may have been a war or 2, but for the most part, Spain has remained in the same shape since the ancient birth of the nation

also maybe it had something to do with the mountains in the way I guess.....

Seems like a kinda of Catalan.

How is their general behavior ?

Portuguese in France are absolute trash tier while in other countries they usually do well.
