Were the cops, implicit or just incomplete in their work? YouTube video has revealed a second shooter on a lower floor filmed by a cab driver at Mandalay Bay. The story of 64 y/o gambling ner do well with no military training conducting a paramilitary style guerrilla offense with brutal accurate force form 400 meters (four football fields) away doesn't make any sense at all except the story is that he was caught redhanded. The official story is the only thing that legitimates the narrative. Why was his girlfriend immediately cleared and then allowed to leave the country? With not a single objection. Don't they always say, "don't leave town without checking with us". Who else could the police have gotten a possible explanation from? This seems important because it seems like letting her leave the country departs with standard operating procedure. Other curious bits.- a girl gave an interview saying a latino man and woman pushed their way to the front of the crowd and began screaming at the people "you are all gonna die tonight" -until they kicked her out. This happened about 45 minutes before the shooting per her statement.
Who ever did this, knew exactly what they were doing. They had those poor souls corraled -pinned in like cattle. They knew that at the end of the show, the people would expect fireworks, or at least mistake gunfire for such reasonably -they don't run. They didn't aim for the stage at all-if they shot the performer, the audience would have scattered. (Don't attention seekers prefer to kill the celebrity?) They knew every one would get down- which gives an elevated shooter the most possible access to them. I cannot believe that this is the work of an amateur without some real evidence.

Listened on the scanner all night (also from Vegas) all the calls of other shooters were confirmed false. Not saying there couldn't have been another one maybe on the festival grounds, but there wasn't any other shootings at other casino. There has been reports and videos of people running but nobody has been able to prove it.
The only thing that was a bit odd was the fact that strike teams stuck around all day yesterday at the hotels, and that metro is now on a/b schedule, meaning 12 on/12 off. Last time this happened was when spook nukem was running around (I think, could have been another incident after that) they only run that schedule when shit is going on.
Again that all could be because they are being careful and making SURE that nobody else is involved, or they know that someone else is involved and they aren't saying anything so that the strip gets back to business. We're known for not making a big deal about some stuff that happens on the strip unless it's a REALLY big deal

That sounds about right, but I would say that a lot of the talk I'm hearing is that Metro (and the rest of us) are desperate to find a motive. Why would someone who has no history of violence or criminal behavior do something so heinous? My guess is mental illness, but since he blew his brains out we may never know for sure.

So those structures are done by this big company that does all kinds of festivals all year. Idk if MGM is renting that one or if they bought it because it's been up for awhile, but it's just a 4 post roof made from steel frames and the cover is like a vinyl material that is pulled over it. that can be brought up and down, with decks that sit on scaffolding for the actual stage. They're pretty heavy duty, wanna say the wood is maybe an inch thick? I could be wrong, but like I said I wouldn't trust them to stop a bullet.
Most festivals like that have front of house platforms made from stage decks for the floor, scaffolding structure and again vinyl skins, so no over there. The barricades are usually steel or aluminum depending. From the videos I could see people hiding behind them, again those are pretty thin metal so idk if it would stop a round from going through t

As a former Marine I will say that taking shots at 400m with a rifle, even iron sights, looking into a LIT crowd of people it would not be difficult to hit as many people as he did. Think ricochets, people being trampled, anybody with a sprained ankle is included with wounded toll.
No I agree, as soon as the dude performing realized what was going on he bounced and so did all the stage crew. There might have been additional Mics that could have earned people but those would have been on stage as well with the monitor board, or with the crew on standby, but in the panic everyone was probably just trying to get the fuck out.
I don't think anyone expected it to keep going after the first initial bursts. Once it kept going everyone started to flee. Someone probably could have said move to the exits but again, it was pure panic from everyone. And who knows if more people would have gotten hit I everyone turned around and started walking at the same time, clogging the exits
