Lets rate each others occupations out of 10

Lets rate each others occupations out of 10.

I will start

I am a butcher

How does being a butcher affect you mentally? Does it pose any problems for your mental health over a long period of time? Also do you get used to the smell of meat?
8/10
I'm an "IT guy" at a highschool.

Butcher is a smelly work, 6/10

Payeet/10

I'm an industrial electrician

Sounds like fun 9/10

Real estate broker

At first it was somewhat off putting but as with most things time passed and I just didnt care as much. Its like second nature now. Funny enough I dont really smell anything when I am cutting meat. Unless its bad then it stinks. But god damn is lamb always a smelly fucker even fresh out of the package.

Sounds like a chill job. I like it 7/10 for me since I am not the best with electronics. Is it slack?

7/10
How did you get into something like butchering?

8/10
Do you work alone most of the time? How often do you find people trying to watch porn?

Shipping Clerk

A lot of the time basically yes. I just go around and connect projectors to laptops and repair the pc's from the informatics lab. The only thing that requires a bit of work is an online catalog where parents can see student's grades and stuff, but that requires a bit of maintenance and it's good. It's really chill and since im laid-back and joke around the students like me. It's a decent pay too.

It's me and a woman in an office next to the informatics lab, we usually don't have to do very much, and since she has some other nebulous things to do i basically work alone. Surprisingly I never find people watching porn. I've seen some try to go on Sup Forums but I had to block it along with other sites since i have to. The "biggest" thing i found was a keylogger on like 2 computers.

I just needed money when I started going to college and found that I really enjoyed cutting meat. Its the knife skills and presentation that I love the most.

As a shipping clerk (8/10) do you get to see what your shipping or have an idea of what it is? Any weird shit you have come across?

Tree worker

8/10 - It's a hard work

Vocational teacher (I was IT technician)

Is that you Will?

How many dildos did you ship last month?
also check'd

biomolecular egineer

9/10 much respect. Someone I could have used back in the day.

I was a fish monger/butcher for a few of my younger years. So much fun, wish I could do it forever. Now in retail management...mind numbing.

How exactly do you teach students, or what advice do you give them?

Indie gamedev

Nanny

Most of what I ship is paper work and small trinkets.. but sometimes I'll see some interesting things like a chandelier shaped like deer antlers. ( No idea if they were real.) Then one time we found someone tried to ship a small nugget of weed.. I mean smaller than a finger nail

Unfortunately not a single one :(

Strategic highway modelling engineer
in other words transport planner

Neet

Teaching myself though, with the end goal of reverse engineering assembly.

I "teach a job" basically It's orienting students to technical jobs, like butchery, woodcraft, electrical maintenance, ect ... In my case, it's electronics and communications.

Physical Education teacher at an all-girls high school.

>life is pain

That's awesome, what kind of games are you making? How did you start?

9/10

Wtf does that even mean/10

Locations assistant in motion picture industry

Safety engineer for missile manufacturer

I want that mid tier sysadmin job one day. Just enough work to look busy but fuck around the rest of the time. And total control over a network so I can jerk it to my god complex.

There was an user in a previous thread who was a forest ranger and lived way the fuck out innawoods. He said he walked around naked and capped in the forest. Add some weed and I'd be down for that job.

I'm pretty new, just experimenting with ideas

Please elaborate

>reverse engineering assembly
If you get gud at it you can get a job in the intelligence community

Web app programmer. After co-founding a local business now it's time to start my own.

Creative Director

Primary school teacher

Great job/10
I'm a pharmacy tech

Sucking the govt teat sounds appetising I'll admit. Not US here but our agencies are part of the five eyes agreement so there's that.

man, that´s one of the last manual labor jobs that will never dissapear, I think.

Chief scientist in a I+D lab for an starting biocontrol and biofertilizing company. They just throw some beakers and an incubator and they call this place a "lab"

I shadowed an FBI cyber squad agent in college and the shit they get to see and do is pretty badass and they could only show me the unclass stuff. Alternatively working for private security firms pays much better than the gummint

Im a tard wrangler. Its easy money but occasionally super stressful

5/10

I am a Police Officer.

Very interesting. I'd assume acting as an outside contractor to the govt could get you more competitive pay but they'd be less inclined to give you any more info than the bare necessity. You'd still need a clearance of some sort for that though I guess, unless you're actually top tier at what you do and they need you. Then the money is a given.

I'm just starting out small but I'll move on to making cracks for games and other public domain shit once I'm capable of that. Then maybe I guess freelance. Just got to keep on learning, it's the best way.

butcher sounds at least interesting if you're geared for it, provides needed service: 6.5/10

HS it guys looked kinda depressed 4/10

my brother does some similar stuff, mostly power lines, but boring stories about work even when people almost die. 6/10
