Trump's Palace

What architectural style should Trump choose for his palace when he becomes highlord?

I've done some research and IMHO the soviets had the best styles despite being a communist shithole. Don't forget that Washington is built on soft swampland any large structures will be prone to sinking (Hitler ran into similar problems in Berlin), so he might want to relocate the capitol somewhere else.

Also, traditional architecture thread.

You gotta admit, the Soviets sure knew how to build their shit.

These are very beautiful

I spelled it right, what are you whining about?

Shit, forgot pic.

The only fitting palace for Trump is a mega-skyscraper built on the foundation of New York City. Something that looks like pic related would be neat.

Yeah, something so high that the upper floors will need to be pumped full of oxygen so people don't asphyxiate from the altitude.

Also, the Third Reich had some beautiful designs too, though they're a bit too heavily copied from the Greeks and Romans. It wouldn't hurt for glorious ruler to sprinkle his own flavor to his architecture.

These black and white pics are turning me on and depressing the hell out of me. Source? More?

Hands down the best place in the internet for futurism porn.

See that dome at the top? IT would have been over 900 feet tall at the apex. No, that's not a typo. Unfortunately the soft swampland it would have been built on would have sunk the whole building.

Here's the test building Hitler built to evaluate the soil for the future palace. It weighed roughly 60,000 tonnes. He found that it sank far more than ideal for the real structure.

More on the dome.

Hitler very much did this in conjunction with Albert Speer. They adapted classical themes to what Hitler felt was a German ethos. Read Speer's "Inside the Third Reich".
