Do u think moon landing was fake? If so gimme some arguments fgts
Bump, I wanna see what these idiots can come up with now
The moon is made of cheese and they brought back rocks. Fake as shit.
Mythbusters did an episode about it. Seemed legit, which means the landing was too.
>rocks
It was really hard cheese. It completely dried up up there. No water.
Not fake, I watched it on TV when I was a kid.
The only thing that caught my attention, was when the astronaut hopped past the flag it did one big sway. Now how was it able to sway with no atmosphere? It was in a vacuum, so the only way that the flag would have made any movement was if it was touched. (Hint hint: it wasn't touched.)
Can you link a video?
Entirely filmed by Stanley Kubrick.
Unfortunately to get it realistic, he insisted it was filmed on location.
That seems like proof to me.
m.youtube.com
Go to 2:33 for the moment. It was completely still, and then it moved after he hopped past the camera.
you can see the remnants of the landing gear with a telescope on the moon.
Bump
True. I can see how that would cause suspicion.
how do you know he didnt touch it?
I think the video was fake. But the landing was real.
>you can see the remnants of the landing gear with a telescope on the moon.
no, you cannot.
no telescope - not even the 10.4metre Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) observatory has the optical magnification or clarity capable of resolving the lander modules.
However, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter satellite, which orbits at about 35-100 miles above the moon's surface does have the optical resolution to do so.
and all images its taken can be found online.
Van Allen fagoot
Because I'm not a moron. He was clearly closer to the camera than he was to the flag. You just don't have a sense of scale.
Underrated.
Cringe.
There are people who seriously believe that the moon is not even real! They are known as flat Earthers.
The earth is flat
How can the moonlanding be real if the Moon isnt real.
yes, but people suffering from schizophrenia suffer a medical inability to differentiate reality from fiction and regularly have symptoms which include believing that things that are real are not real, or the opposite.
We cant help their mental health issues.
>resorting to insults
People seem to have this notion that the moon has no atmosphere. I’m not sure how this notion came about, but it is completely false. There is an atmosphere on the moon, which consists of gases like sodium and potassium. So if an astronaut were to quickly walk or fly past a flag, it would cause a disruption in the gas molecules around it, which will cause the flag to wave, just like on earth.
TL;DR: There is an atmosphere on the moon so moving past the flag can make it wave.
>gases like sodium and potassium
They built a fully functional rocket, with all the costs involved, to trick the Russians into thinking they made a rocket to go to the moon instead of using said rocket to go to the moon.
Neil Tyson disagrees with you there.
Kek'd a little
nasa.gov
Just for all of you cucks who are gonna cry “source”
>implying the radiation charge is constant.
????
Okay, show me where he does
Neil is a fraud.
He's a liberal duck who believes race is a social construct.
If you have the resources, you can do a lunar ranging experiment. This is experiment is only possible by leaving reflectors behind on the lunar surface.
Yes I (we) did such an experiment in the past. Dont believe those 'lunar ranging experiment is a hoax' on the internet. Most of them are noobs trying to debunk it with shitty wrong maths and physics.
Moon landing was an inside job. Jet fuel can't melt steel beams.
the apollo missions used a launch profile with pushed them north, and through the Van Allen belts at their weakest point, rather than going outward from the equator through the strongest part of the field.
that meant they only went through the medium radiation areas for a total of about 20 minutes on departure and return.
the apollo crews on average received a radiation dosage of about 0.5 rads, roughly equivalent to half a dozen x-rays.
Or to put it another way, I broke my arm last year, and received almost as much radiation as the apollo crews did.
Moonlanding was Fake and gay
The one moment which convinced me the whole thing was faked was the '16 Clang'.
During Apollo 16, one astronaut threw a packing strip (or similar) over his shoulder after unwrapping it whilst deploying an experiment. It hits the lunar module, and you can hear a slight clang.
Obviously, there's no atmosphere on the moon to conduct the sound. There were radio mics present in the lander, but they would have been switched off when the astronauts were on the surface. Even accounting for the hundred-to-one possibility that one in the lander was accidentally left on, they certainly would not have bothered to mix it into the live audio stream coming from the astronauts.
and the Moons atmosphere is alot less dense than Earths
elements can exist at different states at different temps. While the moon is NOT gonna have pure sodium (with a melting point well over 1000 degrees), you can find trace amounts of helium, nitrogen, and the like.
In this case, the exosphere of the moon was fairly irrelevant.
the rod that holds the flag up was fucky, bent and it never extended fully, so it caused a hitch in the extension. Add that to the inertia of getting the pole in the ground, the rocking of the flagpole and a messed up support are what would have made the waving motion.
All that aside, if you're unconvinced: The USSR, Russia, they would have NEVER stood for the US lying about that sort of thing. They would have raised hell until we proved it or admitted it. the fat that they didn't flip shit implies that they took it as an embarrassing loss in the space race.
Apparently you didn’t read my comment above
There’s an atmosphere, so sound has molecules to travel through
Potassium/Boiling point
1,398°F
758.8°C
Sodium/Boiling point
1,621°F
882.8°C
"Temperatures on the moon are very hot in the daytime, about 100 degrees C. At night, the lunar surface gets very cold, as cold as minus 173 degrees C."
>gimme
No
The melting points and boiling points of compounds drastically change with pressure. If you look up the actual definition of boiling, it isn’t “it gets so hot that the molecules move fast and separate from the liquid/solid.” There’s a lot more to it. You can boil water at room temperature if you decrease the pressure enough.
Source: I have a degree in chemistry. Learn some shit before you try to make someone look stupid, dumbass.
there's an exosphere, enough to exist, but fairly useless for all intents and purposes. It didn't slow the feather in the hammer vs feather drop test, it wouldn't move a flag, nor carry sound. The 16, i have no imput, and personally will continue to ignore.
Please read so you stop making yourself look stupid
I am aware, thank you. I know what a phase diagram is. But unless you show me one that says Sodium boils at moonsurface temperatures in vacuum I call bullshit.
Ever hear of static electricity?
Not sayin thats what it is ... but in a low-g vacuum environment it could be significant.
Has Marutei Tsurunen been mentioned already?
>Tsurunen was representing the democrats in the upper house of the Japanese parliament during they years 2002-2013 as its first Western-born member.
A fucking major achievement considering how doubtful the Japanese are against foreigners. Of course Finland is an exception of some sort, the older folk knows and appreciates Mannerheim and Finns.
Apparently a very conservative politician and that's exactly what japskies like.
I literally sourced NASA you idiot
listen closely to what he said:
> you can see...with a telescope on the moon
not
>you can see... on the moon with a telescope
so, if you travel right there, there's no use of a telescope, but it's hard to manage to land within walking distance, so in case it fails i'd have some telescope at hand.
Okay fellas, en.wikipedia.org
It has both sodium and potassium. Now, whether or not that's the gaseous element or particulate debris i have no answer to, but user is in essence mostly right. 's like saying a box of cereal has bugs as an ingredient. it does, just... very little in numeric percentages..
you have a point, but.
Post order.
and the boiling point of water is ~100°C
I asked for a phase diagram. Not for an article written by someone that doesn't know the difference betweenn a gas and dust particles.
electrostatic attraction most likely.
yeah, i was not accounting for atmospheric pressure, because i'm fairly shortsighted.
The question is though, what IS the boiling point of those two in vacuum?
This is NASA man, and you didn’t ask for a phase diagram, you just said you knew what it was, congratulations. And obviously you STILL haven’t read the article because they literally say “gases” not dust particles
What about the camera's film?
Which time?
>But unless you show me one
If that's not asking for one, I don't know.
Also congratulations on your reading comprehension. I said the author of the article didn't know the difference between dust particles and gases. Not that he didn't write "gases".
is there no chance that it waved because of vibrations from his hopping around?
i dunno how soft the ground on the moon is but surely that is worth taking into consideration.
it's totally impossible to build a box to shield some film rolls in, and it's also totally impossible to have x-ray resistant film
>It detected small amounts of a number of atoms and molecules including helium, argon, and possibly neon, ammonia, methane and carbon dioxide.
Do what you will with that
I don’t think it really happened in 69’ that was just propaganda to “beat the evil commies” but they did land there on one of the later missions.
Uh, ok? I will.
I'm not sure. The charts i'm seeing in the sodium vapor transport pdfs (things I should have paid better attention in how to read in chem II....) it's very much so several times lower than in 1 earth atmo.
It was the greatest achievement in human history and people doubt it.
We are fantastic creatures, revel in our time!
Congrats on only being half a retard
It should be.
Follow up question, what's the max temperature on the surface?
To be fair, propaganda has always been a thing.
PREACH NIGGA! PREACH DAT SHIT!
Do a little research on your mad ideas first.
They put a little arm in the flag and a small motor, that's why it moves, they didn't want a static flag, they wanted it to flap as it does on Earth.
Look it up, it's totally true, retards.
That would be a simple solution to why the flag moved. I’ll look that up and see if it’s true. Either way, there is an atmosphere on the moon and this stupid fuck won’t believe proof when it sits on has face
Propaganda?
Spoken like a true loon (excuse the pun), it's not propaganda, everything about it was legit.
Saturn 5 alone was a fantastic feat, it went to the moon and back again and that is an accepted fact, so why not put a bunch of test-pilots in it and see what happens, they did that and they came back safely, science dude, we have it.
Don't doubt the landings, if they were bullshit the Russians would have loved to point it out.
Looks like on certain parts, up to 220F. averaging about 100 due to craters, i assume. So, possible, though the combined 40ish parts of a million vs the hundreds of thousands for the more common elements makes it seem like it's rare or in the margin of error.
What I'm about to tell you is the truth, NASA has built a device, an artificial sun simulator and placed it in heliosykronus orbit outside Earth's atmosphere. NASA technology is very highly advanced and they are able to cloak (hide) are real solar sun. Are real sun is not white but more yellow in color. Because the sun is 93 million miles away, they are able to completely cover the real solar sun, the device also has lenses that bend light like a prism, but hear is how you can see the real solar sun and the fake sun.
1.) You will need (2) pairs of sunglasses.
UV sunglasses with the darker tint on the upper part of the lenses work excellent.
2.) While wearing one pair of sunglasses close one eye and look at the sun, hold the other pair of sunglasses 10 inches in front of the other pair. Slowly bring the the other pair closer closer to your eye like a telescope. You will see 2 suns. One will appear white, the fake sun, the other will be yellow, are real solar sun. They may appear a different color depending on the tinted color of your sunglass lense. If you do this technique correctly, you will see 2 suns. The solar sun and the fake sun.
This is the honest truth.
NASA explain !
90969
that's not proof.
Yeah cause it’s just unbelievable that the Americans would lie...
Sounds feasible then. IF the vaccum can get the boiling point that low.
I would just like to ask, do you know the origin of the word "fantastic"?
I love how people always say “the Russians were monitoring and watching the whole thing” no they weren’t, they didn’t have the tech to.
>heliosykronus
>kronus
Yup officially retarded
I don't see it. Let me try again for another 5 minutes
There's an in-depth video on YouTube that proves that it was impossible with their current video technology to fake the moon landing.
youtu.be
That’s why they hired kubrick. He made 2001 look pretty good.
>I love how people always say “the Russians were monitoring and watching the whole thing” no they weren’t, they didn’t have the tech to.
Er.... what drugs are you ?
you realise that the Russians, the British, the Australians, and the Americans all had the technology to track them. The russians had been tracking stuff to the moon for years.
You do know that the russians landed an object on the moon first - ( Luna-9, which made a landing on February 3rd, 1966) - and that its broadcasts were likewise tracked by the US, and by Jodrell Bank in the UK. In fact, the images it took were transmitted on the standard radiofax potocol used at the time, and as such, Jodrell Bank, with a newspaper was able to have the pictures printed in the west, possibly before the Russian scientists had studied them themselves.
>
>is there no chance that it waved because of vibrations from his hopping around?
>i dunno how soft the ground on the moon is but surely that is worth taking into consideration.
>>vibrations
>>no atmosphere to vibrate
Err did you realize that the only place in the world that was receiving the transmissions from Apollo was Australia? And then the signal was relayed to the Americans through relay stations? I don’t think you did...but you’ll just doubt me and “durr drugs” or something so look it up for yourself.
Are?
You mean our, faggot.
Man never went to the moon
>Do u think moon landing was fake?
Holy shit, this is painfully stupid.
All the photos show a true infinite light source. Something which is impossible to fake even in modern hollywood. You can only truly get this from the sun.
If you watch some show where they have filmed at nighttime for there to be less traffic etc but are lighting it up to make it look like daytime, you can tell by the shadows there isn't an infinite light source (thesun)
that's wrong.
there were four sites:
two in Australia: Honeysuckle Creek Tracking Station near Canberra and Parkes Radio Observatory west of Sydney
One in the US, one at the Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex in the Mojave Desert, California;
and one at the Madrid Manned Flight Tracking Site in Spain.
All four tracking sites were used.
Only the Australian sites were used _during the Apollo 11_ landing which was televised, because it was the one with a direct line for reception. However the other sites were used during the far longer duration of the entire missions, and for other landings.
Fucking roundy shill
...
