Why does Venezuela have high inflation? Is it really due to socialism?
Why does Venezuela have high inflation? Is it really due to socialism?
their president is a former bus driver
thats all you need to know
Hispanic guy here
Selena gomez is so fucking ugly. Shes a 6/10 with all that makeup.
Our president is a brain-dead retard who bought his 3 diplomas, you can see why we're in deep shit too
Because their entire economy relied on exporting oil and they have no infrastructure. Oil dropped to $20 a barrel. You do the math.
Venezuela used to have one of the largest industrial sectors of Latin America, until Chavez killed them and subdized the ever-growing underclass with the expectation that oil prices would forever stay at $ 140
oil prices, socialism... escalated by price fixing and the gov't seizing factories ---> hyper inflation
the upper class was one of the most corrupt looting the countries wealth (US- backed too) until chavez stopped that and it causes a capital flight. can't blame it on government
>high inflation
That's one way of putting it I guess.
CIA did this
It's because I fuck everyone in the ass. When you have a country full of assfuckees, economics seem to crumble
Well when your working population finds that it makes more financial sense to stand in lines for goods then getting a job to make said goods, goods become ever scarcer and those dollars have less and less things to buy.
>CIA did this
They wish, not running things according to the cost it takes to maintain basic infrastructure like road and water did this.
People being dumb asses as also helped a great deal and the miss management of funds from the oil etc was the final nail in the coffin
>government repossesses the farmland and hands it out to unskilled peasants who have no fucking clue how to grow crops
>country becomes incapable of feeding itself without importing food
>can't blame it on government
>CIA did it
>cant blame the gov't for the country collapsing
why would anyone investment in a country on the brink of federal seizure of most factories in the name of "the people"? you can attempt to pass the blame to greedy capitalists who dont want to give millions of dollars away for nothing, but the price fixing lies maduro's feet.
socialism did this.
it's because their version of quantitative easing actually reaches the bottom feeders unlike in FED or ECB-run countries
hue hue
>can't blame it on the government
>literally the "not muh socialism" meme
wew lad
Wow. You are woefully misinformed, my young bong.
>titmole
britbongs live an insular existence, socialism from cradle to grave. he probably is gonna vote no to brexit. baka
