I Hate Myself discography
Stop being an attention whore
Tell us what you wish you could say to your late friend right now OP
I'm glad you're dead
...
Masked Dancers by Brave Little Abacus.
The underlying themes of the whole album deal with a close friend suicide. The lyrics are quite cryptic though.
I wish I'd asked him what was wrong
The new album by mount eerie is a good choice I think. Also Carrie and Lowell by sufjan stevens
god I love the album. Adam's voice cracking from sheer emotion, the weeb samples that actually fit really well, the almost videogame like keyboard rifts, the heavy lyrical themes, and of course the washing machine in the background. it all just, against all odds, fits together to deliver such a powerful experience
The Hotelier - Home, Like Noplace Is There.
It's literally about a close suicide.
It helped me cope with the suicide of my cousin.
Godspeed, user. I have love for you and your friend, and their family.
Oh, yes.
I've heard that the first was good for crying to. I've never been a fan of Sufjan ;_;
It's one of my top 3 albums of all time, definitely.
idk what actually works but I'm into new wave emo and Sorority Noise's latest album talks a lot about suicide

Shit sucks. Worst thing that has happened to me by far.
WHERE THE FUCK CAN I DOWNLOAD SATURATION II LADS??????????

Cam Boucher's best friend committed suicide and the whole album is about that.
He also recorded a song immediately after he found out about Sean (Shaun?) killing himself.
Someone linked me this track the day I found out my best friend had died.

the entire album is pretty good u should listen to it
what happened?
I'm sorry, man. Here. It's not really music for active listening, but it's good background music if you just want to drown the world out.

The last thing I ever said to my friend before he did it was:
"Please don't make me write you eulogy."
I wish I had chosen better words or something.
God damnit Zach, I miss you every day.
Eels - Electroshock Blues might be an album for this
I'm sorry OP

Oops!
Not OP but my friend killed himself in junior year of highschool, we were both a bunch of losers who just moved there but we were a tight knit group of losers, last thing I said to him was "hey dude are you okay you're acting kinda off are you sure everything's okay?" and he said he was so I didn't know what to do and just said okay and that I'd see him later, so I guess what I'd say is something to the effect of "come on dude I'll take you somewhere and we'll get something to eat and talk" or something I don't know
And to answer your question OP I had this album basically on repeat after he died, Michael especially will floor you
Do you want to talk about his life? I can't vouch for anyone else, but I'm here to listen.
Hang in there user. One of my best friends from childhood killed himself when i was 15. We'd kinda grown apart since starting high school and I just wish I could have been a better friend to him those last years.

I had a good friend that killed himself 4 years ago, I still think about the whole thing and regret not being smart enough to see the signs. Hope you get through OP.

Close friend of mine committed suicide, first thing I did was jammed this out on guitar.

It's quite literally a song about someone who killed themselves. You'll get through it man, best wishes to the friends and family of the deceased.
Sorority Noise's It kindly stopped for me (or You're not as _ as you think if you don't mind mourning with "louder" music)
If you don't mind the music that you mourn to being "louder" then also Your deep rest by The hotelier.
Also, Spring by Moose blood.
Wish you were here by Neck deep is a pretty good mourning song imo, even if they're a pop-punk band this one's acoustic. Or you could try with the Pink floyd song that goes by the same name.
They rule. I would've posted No halo tho.
I'm sorry to hear that, user.
im gonna kill myself tomorrow, glow pt 2 will be the last thing I listen to. The new war on drugs is pleasant, and I'll music for sure.
My ex gf, who is some basic hoe, told me that a lot of people wish i already were dead. I'm 21, play in a somewhat local, but will never get famous band, and I'm a failure.
I love glow pt 2 though. I hope when I hear it I change my mind. I really do.
I also really hope that you change your mind, user.
Anyways, don't do it, and don't even think about your thot ass ex and the dumbasses that might not even wish you were dead and maybe your ex is just lying.
Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz

This. In March a good friend of mine killed herself and that album helped me cope with it all. I'm currently trying to put together maybe an album about her life, or something like that to remember her by.
