Invest that shit. Make it work for you.

Doesn't investing generally mean waiting and not being able to touch your money? I know there are exceptions like a friend who made a few grand on some penny stocks over a few weeks. Personally I'm okay just having my salary and being able to spend it now. I don't want to be an old man and will probs just kill myself when I turn 60 so no point having retirement investments if I can't use them

It was pretty dope. I actually started working back in may for the first time at a shitty subway. Now I'm workin at target. I'm in college too. So life's pretty good right now user sama desu desu

That depends on the type of investment. I'm no expert, but there are ways to invest while keeping your cash fluid. The stock market is what I would do personally. You can take it out anytime, there's no early penalties or anything. You can grow your money by quite a lot. I just made 4k dollars today on one penny stock. Granted it's in a large IRA so I'm working with large numbers.

user, Walmart literally sells cheaper guns than that. Spend it on a hooker instead, you'll like it better.

You can get a gun for a lot less than $1500

Get a job while you're young and your dick is still smooth

Oh, well yeah you better save up for something nice. I'd suggest you move to 7.62 over the more popular 5.56. You'll have a much higher dead:wounded ratio.

Good way to immediately lose about 30% of your money. And now you get to watch the rest of it drain away at about 10% per year, while paying ridiculous maintenance costs.

We pay until we are in our 50s. But renting a house would cost just as much per month. But now we will end up with property that we can give to our kids. And we can do any changes we want on the house. Never regretted this desicion.

Seriously though, I have an account that fluctuates between 100€ min and 1000€ max on a shitty 500€ wage. Just rent and utilities alone takes away half of what I earn, not to mention I do have to eat and I do enjoy like twice a month to eat out and so on...

It's a shitty life and I doubt it'll ever change. Family is all gone, have nothing to my name other than a shitty car, can't really save money for pretty much anything. It's sort of a day by day existence and, honestly, I know of a lot of people that have it worse for me, so I'm done with the whole meritocracy bullshit dream and so on.

Some countries and some people just have it easier for no reason other than luck of having been born here or there. Life is cruel and majorly random and there's nothing to be done about it other than try to enjoy the most you can before you punch the card permanently.

Currently not putting any more to retirement, not making enough to have my emergency fund funded and daily life taken care of. Making 12-18$/hr depending on the job, 50+ hour weeks. The 30k is in a Roth IRA account my parents set up for me when I was 10

This meme. Why didn't your parents give you their house? Because it never happens. Why didn't their parents give them a house? By your logic, you'd be inheriting 10 houses from past generations.

What to do with savings? Leaving them in the bank is stupid.
